  1. Woo, four entries. I have voted. Part of it was easy and part of it was hard. Can't wait to see what PRC 100 is all about. I dunno if I'll enter or not; I'll be gone for the first few days of it. Fixed. Aw, you know we really love you. *group hug*
  2. I have entered. I'm just sick of working on it by now. I might continue fixing its awfulness after the competition's over... Also, I will be around to vote because I'm awesome like that.
  3. Finished my entry, sort of. I just need my free Liontamerage, and then I'll be frantically remaking it for the rest of the week.
  4. Weirdness. I split it into several patterns and more notes played, but most still kept dropping out. Anyway, I decided to switch to another percussion soundfont, so...yeah. It works fine.
  5. Yes and I guess so. I emailed you. Let me know if it comes through ok.
  6. I don't know for a fact if I'll be able to enter this week or not. Fruity loops is acting up and I have no idea what it's doing to me. I'd appreciate if people could help me figure it out.
  7. Missouri is also lame like that. I've had maybe one or two people ask me what the hoodie was all about, but they didn't even understand me anyway. I don't think they realize video games have music.
  8. I can't see anything out of the ordinary there...and if the problem was there, wouldn't it sound messed up in the project file? Because it sounds fine before I export it. Ugh, I don't know...I finished the song today, and I discovered another problem spot. I had copied the percussion from the problem area and pasted it in another place. The drums don't drop out until the middle of the new problem spot, though... I did take a screen of the exporting thingy, because I have no idea what half of it means. If anyone sees a problem, let me know. Let me know if it looks fine, too. I guess I'll have to put up the project file for other people to try exporting. Some things to note: -Tried exporting to .wav...same result. -The exporting thing says the song is 3:17, but it actually comes out to be 2:59 (no idea if this means anything).
  9. Results: Muting all other tracks - Didn't work Deleting all other tracks - Didn't work Deleting everything but affected area and a few seconds of surrounding percussion, then shifting to the beginning - Didn't work Deleting everything but affected area of percussion, then shifting to the beginning - Worked No idea what it's doing. I'll mess around a little more with it, and if I can't get it to work in the full song, I'll try giving the project file to someone.
  10. So, I was working on my entry for this week's PRC (ENTER!! O.o), and I decided to call it a day. I listened it over one more time, and it sounded fine. After saving it and exporting it to mp3, I played it through WMP to make sure everything was ok. Well, it got to a certain point and then the percussion randomly just stopped. After several seconds, it started back up again. I confirmed that it sounded as it was supposed to in the .flp, and I couldn't see what was causing the weirdness. I tried exporting a couple different times, even using different filenames and switching between "cut remainder" and "leave remainder", having no idea what to do. The percussion still drops out at the same spot. Anyone know what I should do?
  11. So, is something special planned for PRC100 source-wise? What should the winner of this round expect?
  12. Just trying to help. :3 I made myself a rather unique intro by accident. You'll most likely be getting an entry from me, if I can figure out how the heck I'm going to make the rest of it work. A lot of my best work happens when I'm trying to make it sound like something else. XP
  13. I made an advertising sig. If anyone else wants to use it, that's fine with me. If you don't like it, make your own/don't use one, kthx. I'll mess around with the tune and see if I can come up with something awesome.
  14. Congrats and stuff! I wonder why even the voting round got less attention than last time. I'll do my best to advertise the next round.
  15. I voted with my awesome powers of doubledness. I hope you guys are thinking about song choice already, since we won't have much time before the next compo starts. I'll try to participate and make a sig to suck more people in.
  16. This is my first time with Paper Mario, so I'm pretty excited. I've been waiting for it to come to the VC.
  17. What if we all donned Rexy-esque PRC sigs and walked around like human billboards? If it's mostly a matter of just being noticed, people would see the sigs while reading random threads. Maybe...
  18. Maybe we'll have icons of Miis with optional Mario-related headgear. Kind of along the lines of the arcade Mario Kart. XD ............................Please no.............
  19. What do we have to choose to get people to join? Super Mario 64? Hey, that's an idea. We could also put up flyers across teh intarweb.
  20. This was my bonus entry in PRC98. Source tune is Crescent Island from Zelda: Oracle of Ages. The title refers to the incident involving a trade between Link and a couple Tokays on the island after the dungeon. Link gives them ember seeds in exchange for Dimitri, the animal that helps you cross the sea. The Tokays, being as smart as they are, promptly eat the seeds and run away with their heads on fire. Anyway, this remix is meant to show the world through the eyes of a Tokay. Kind of childish and a little beachy. XD Oh yeah, and pieces of the Moonlit Grotto theme pop up here and there. As well as a short surprise at the end. Someday it might be good enough to submit to OLR, if I get a lot of critique. XD
  21. PRC97 gave us Silph Company from the Pokemon series. I've never played the games, but the source tune caught my attention. I decided to join that round, and I ended up winning with this entry. I'd like to refine it and hopefully submit it in the future. So, I give you Heroin Addict's Haunted Attic. "HAHA" to you. But why the title, besides the fact that it sounds so great as an acronym? Well, the remix happens to tell a little story. It's obviously about some little kids who move into a new neighborhood, discover a haunted mansion, encounter a deranged axe murderer in the attic, and emerge as murderer-murdering heroes in the end. Specific feedback is always appreciated, but I can settle for vague praise/hatred.
  22. Reggie did say something about a choice of controls, so relax for now. They're giving us options in Brawl, so I wouldn't be surprised if they gave us similar options in MK Wii.
  23. I might be an idiot for just noticing this...but... There are 12 racers lined up at the starting line in Mario Circuit. o.O I completely love how the Wario track looks. Those things are always great anyway. I hope the rest of the tracks are better than what MKDD had to offer.
  24. Edit: Sorry...posted it while you were posting, Rexy. Well, I'll take care of that now, I guess. ENTRY'D!
