  1. I think one or both of my sisters has/have a Sandisk player. I haven't heard them complain, although my older sister wants to get a Zune for christmas. As for me, I asked for long sleeve shirts and hoodies since most of mine aren't big enough. And the Zelda DS Lite. If they can't get their hands on one of those, I've told them a pink Lite is fine too. There aren't really any games I'm interested in that I haven't already bought. Christmas isn't really all that exciting once you get older and start buying things for yourself. I'll probably be getting a whole bunch of lame gifts to go along with the stuff I asked for. Oh well. It's an excuse to visit my cousins and play some Smash Bros.
  2. Highlight: I think it's hilarious. Especially how nobody cares and everyone refers to both of you as "Luigi" without distinguishing between the two of you. And Mario isn't even mentioned aside from in Peach's letters (not sure about in the ending, though, since I haven't gotten quite that far yet).
  3. Atma, I find the spinning to be pretty fun. The wiimote is way more responsive in this game than it was in Twilight Princess, so there aren't any problems with shaking violently when there's an enemy nearby...really, all it takes is a little swing. And spinning actually feels satisfying for me. XP
  4. Yeah...a lot of the timed purple coin stars have more coins than you need.
  5. I've always thought it would sound great as a Pirates of the Caribbean-like remix, but I lack the skills to create good-sounding music in that style. Otherwise I would have done it by now.
  6. The music plays when you're climbing the stairs after the final boss. It's not a very accurate MIDI, though... I agree with DJ-Arthur. If it's even a Zelda remix at all, it's got to be the original dungeon theme.
  7. That is because it is insane. I saw a video of someone getting all 150 coins there and making it back to get the star. Also, I agree with Imagery on the topic of Luigi. The sliding is really irritating; it's already killed me once.
  8. Onoez it is a trap! Oh, wait. Never mind. It can't be a trap; CH has over 1000 posts.
  9. It's better than Super Mario 64's reward. And probably Sunshine's, too, since I've never even heard about one.
  10. Text: The sinking spire daredevil didn't give me much trouble. I died a few times, but that's nothing compared to some of the others. The deep dark galaxy secret star is driving me crazy; it's the last star I need to find. I've been over the area countless times. I'm going to keep at it by myself a while longer...
  11. There's a half-snow level... Spoilers: Basically you have a lava planet and an ice planet in the same level, and the stars sort of alternate between the two. Really, they should have had a purely ice level (there's a purely lava level, but no purely ice level). I'm at 111 stars. The prankster comet stars can be quite difficult, especially the purple coin star in the toy galaxy. That took me so many tries I was practically screaming at the tv. :3 And about the swimming: Thank goodness I'm not the only one. Galaxy has a terrible swimming system; the fixed perspectives can be weird and I'm always jumping out when I don't want to (or vice versa).
  12. If there's one thing I can complain about, that's it. He sends so many worthless messages to my Wii. >.< Of course, that's not too big of a deal, especially when you compare it to the awesomeness of the game. The music is amazing, and the gravitational tricks are incredibly entertaining. The difficulty level is a lot better than Sunshine's, too. Oh...and I must say, I was relieved to find that voice acting is at a minimum. I don't think I could handle another set of Sunshine cutscenes.
  13. I got all spazzy when I saw DarkeSword had finally posted a Metroid Prime 3 mix. XP Amazing as usual. You managed to make SkyTown even prettier. I don't know if it's possible not to come across as a crazed fanboy when discussing a DarkeSword remix. Oh well.
  14. I don't know why, but it's actually coming to Columbia. I guess I'll be going, because my parents are unsuccessfully trying to hide the fact that they got/are getting me a ticket. Really, I don't know if all the people in this town who are interested in a video game concert could fill my living room. The linen closet might be a better fit. But I'll be wearing my OCR hoodie. Probably. Even though I'll be the only one there.
  15. I would join, but my fangame is controlling my mind. ;_; The coder may have died today, though. If so, I will be free to join. But I wouldn't count on it.
  16. I was disappointed in the recycling of dungeon/island/village/boss/cave/etc. music, but it was a pretty great game. The ending was cool, too. I almost expected to see [spoilers]the ocean king whale guy flying through the air like in Link's Awakening. XD And then the Link to the Past reference in the credits music was pretty cool, though not as great as the original.
  17. Ooh, burn. This round could have been big...I guess it turned out decent enough, though.
  18. People tend to submit stuff pretty close to the deadline. Don't count on the date being wrong; we've already had longer than usual to remix this.
  19. You are also not a judge. Everyone knows judges are something more than human. Everyone. I AM KIDDING SOMEONE BREAK THE AWKWARD SILENCE. *whimper*
  20. Erm, I'm not so sure I'll be able to finish my entry. All this stuff keeps popping up.
  21. First place vote - 3 points Second place vote - 2 points Third place vote - 1 point Entrants get 3 points for voting, to make up for the fact that they can't vote for themselves. Technically, you're voting for yourself and someone else for first place. It works for PRC. All the entrants usually vote.
  22. Amazing how many people come running when Chrono Trigger is mentioned. Well, it'll make for a great round, eh? Besides the fact that we already know who's going to win, of course. I guess another judge could always surprise us with an entry.
  23. That danged Earth and its annoying patterns of rotation. I tried to come up with a good idea for an entry and ended up with the Simpsons theme stuck in my head and tiny bugs in my mouth. I was riding my bike. Yes, I had my mouth open. I do this sort of inaudible whistling/beatboxing when I'm trying to come up with ideas. I'm retarded. Edit: I started my entry because I'm weak.
  24. I dunno, I might enter. We do have two weekends for this round...so, who knows.
  25. Hooray! Several/two new people! I will only participate in the next round if the source is freakin' awesome. I have a mega research paper to worry about.
