  1. So most of Phoenix Wright: Justice For All has actually been pretty predictable so far, except maybe the final twist of the second case, but this last case just has been going absolutely bonkers. I have no idea what the hell is going on yet, and I think I'm pretty far into it.
  2. Wrong. Check the post above yours. Sony and Nintendo are refusing to publish the game so long as it remains rated AO, and an appeal would be unlikely to faze the ESRB, so Rockstar will either have to change the game or can it. There's no way it'll be able to keep its original release date (July 10).
  3. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6172830.html?action=convert&om_clk=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;0 With Manhunt 2 being rated AO by the ESRB, Sony and Nintendo have said they won't allow it to be published. Looks like it's changes or curtains for Rockstar. They could try to appeal the rating, but the earlier reported statements from the ratings boards seemed pretty adamant.
  4. Oh, thank God. You're less intelligent than I imagined. Now I know for sure you won't be able to spread your seed, because no woman will be dumb enough to get with you. It depresses me that this makes sense.
  5. hey it's anne and he's outside offtop way to broaden your horizons man
  6. What the hell, people? "Verse" is not a verb meaning "compete" or "combat." I don't understand where this insane, retarded usage came from, or how it got to be so pervasive around me. "Versus" is a preposition, completely unrelated to any verb except in their shared existence as words. There is absolutely no basis for bastardizing it into some mutant verb, so stop. I may need to start carrying a pistol for liberal shots to the head if all these idiots keep this shit up. You're lucky I got so fixated on this one stupid thing you did, because it kept me from bothering to read about your likely nonsensical "dream" and ripping your limbs from their sockets to beat you with for it.
  7. 1) I hate people who identify composers only with one or two major games or series they've done, and assume that any and all future work is likely to be connected to those past works. 2) There are, like, three of those Little Mac fans, and they haven't been repeating their wish on every bloody page since this thread started.
  8. Look, it was a good game, but you guys need to get over your obsessions with Chrono Trigger revival. Squeenix seems to have moved past that possibility, so I don't know why everyone else can't. It's not like they're going to start listening to their fans now.
  9. Makes sense. I wish Blizzard would release new information more regularly through the official site, though. It's been kind of tiring seeing the same two videos and four units up there for the last month.
  10. uh did you ever PLAY dkc? I mean he was at least throwing barrels n slammin ground n shit
  11. ya weve been over this It was good gameplay and somewhat interesting story but also very unpolished (too obviously tacked on) and, once all the characters were introduced, completely predictable.
  12. I think anything short of Zero Wing has better writing than the last episode of the first game. I was trying to keep a tally of misspellings and awful grammar and incorrect punctuation, but I got tired after a while and just wanted to get through the ordeal once and for all.
  13. I got Phoenix Wright 2 last night and while the music so far is cheesy, it's not horrible. I don't have much time to play today but tomorrow night should be a blast.
  14. December is rather late for the holiday season. If Nintendo were aiming for that, it would probably be out mid to late November to catch the Black Friday rush. But, I'm willing to bet Brawl will be September/October, and Galaxy will be saved for the holidays.
  15. August 20 brawl is not going to be out before then... stop hoping for it people
  16. "Bluebird" = Bluetooth Wavebird
  17. Well, there goes all that talk of minimizing Wiimote control. I'm willing to bet that one control scheme turns out far superior for tournament play, though, or at least that most tournaments will stick to one preferred style.
  18. It, er, hasn't even begun yet. Seems a little silly to call a verdict this early.
  19. at first I thought, what are you smoking? can I have some? then I looked up and saw oh duh it's atma, he's being sarcastic
  20. Why is it that the fifth chapter of Phoenix Wright was so awesome gameplay wise but so lackluster story wise? Whatever, time to shell out another $30 for the sequel.
  21. I'm pretty sure Modest Mouse is bloody awesome so you can shove your generalizations up your ass. I (and a good deal of my friends) love lots of indie bands because we think they make good music that appeals to us, and we laugh at people who try to brag about how "indie" their tastes are ("OMG is that Explosions in the Sky I have like all their CDs in vinyl and have been to every show because I thought no one else around here heard of them"). If no one actually liked a band because they thought it made good music then you'd never hear of it, ever, because no one actually remembers and listens to and cares about bands that scenesters/hipsters/whatever talk about if the only reason for doing so is appearing "indie." If those people make up a band's entire fanbase, then the band might as well be in a black hole as far as the rest of the world is concerned, and the rest of us would never hear or talk about them.
  22. Does that not involve pressing another button, like I suggested? You can jump by tilting lightly, too, if you're not simultaneously pressing an attack button. But to do the same with the guns, you'd probably either have to have two separate buttons devoted to the item (one to change the angle and one to fire) or force players to fire while attempting to aim, wasting ammo. RD, why don't you actually... I don't know... use logic to argue against me, if you think I'm making it easy?
