The top image (non-screen) shows several different colors. I bet it's chosen at random for each ball to help differentiate between them all. For example if you've got multiple balls on the screen at one time and you plan on picking up the one you only recently tossed, you want to be able to tell immediately which one is yours as the others will have less smoke left.

At first it looked like Peach's neck was snapped and Bowser had ripped Mario's head off. That would have been a far more exciting picture.

They did say they planned on an expansion every year after BC. Maybe I'll play again for a few months next year. (Although, I thought they also said players wouldn't be ready to take on Arthas until at least level 90... I guess the gap between 70 and 80 will be much bigger than expected, just as it was between 60 and 70.)

For 11 year-old songwriting, it may be "fun," but no one should be encouraging those vocals. Even if the kid were grown up so he lost that tinny, cracking tone, that shit-style wouldn't so much as pass in the indie world, where most people aren't too concerned about extremely "nice" vocals, let alone anywhere else. Also, they've got two other songs recorded (check the right sidebar) and another "coming soon." A stop should be made before it goes much further.

I would ask how exactly I'm supposed to knock him over, but I figured it out (and it can be done after putting him to sleep): just a good ol' bounce with the action command will do the trick. I kept using my hammer because it's strong enough to actually damage him through all his normal defenses. Silly me, remembering to put him to sleep but not to bounce him onto his back. Now I've just got to beat the final form of The Master; the rest of the game is a piece of cake.

So is anyone else playing Paper Mario on the VC? I'm trying to beat Kent C. Koopa but for some bloody reason he won't fall over when I put him to sleep. What the hell?

Just buy it already. Even if you're a wuss and wind up hating the single-player, the multi-player is totally worth it.

Oh, it's the Fire Emblem stage. We already knew about that one. But wait what O SHI---- Yet another "as time goes on, the stage changes..." sort of thing (the other being the new DK stage). I'm wondering if these time frames are fixed or scalable (e.g., the progression is more drawn out when matches are set up with more stock/time).

I was driving home down I-35 in Austin and came to a dead stop in an enormous traffic jam, so I cut over to the nearest exit and took another path home. When the first thing I saw here is "I-35 bridge collapsed," I certainly did a double take. But yeah, that sucks.

I like how some of the same people who worried about potentially winding up with too many characters are harping for two or three new Fire Emblem characters in addition to the new one they've already got and the two they possibly still have.
