If I dont' get some updates, you arent' on the project. This remix project will release when one single man is ready, and that's because he's got the biggest track for this project. When he's done, I will check with everybody else. If they aren't ready or within reason, I proceed without. My greatest OCR related memories: 1.) My Wedding. It's not explicitly OCR related, but when you have The OneUps performing and people like Dale North, Shael Riley, and Ailsean in attendance (among others), it's a good memory and I wouldn't have met any of them without OCR. Dave, still wish you could've made it, even though I'm sure you wish you could stab me in the face. 2.) Walking into a game store and hearing them play Bound Together. I struck up conversation about the music asking where they found it and if they enjoyed it before telling them I was the guy responsible. They didn't believe me until I rapped my part in Da Black Market. The only time in my life I felt like an important person musically. Well, that and singing Katamari with the Smash Bros at MAGFest two years... and bacon.

Album of the year. Hands down.

Yeah, J-Pop in English. And if you're a Tales fan you need to play this game. But never buy a system for just one game... Find other games to justify that purchase.

This game is an interactive cartoon and I love it so far. Also, I was totally thrown off as soon as that intro movie music started. Is Vesperia ready to rock my face off? Then the singing staretd and kinda killed the mood but those drum crashes right at the start were badass and blood pumping.

The "What happened to OCR" isn't a minority opinion, it's MY opinion. I speak for nobody else. And to me, yes, the site doesn't seem the same. But you know what, that's not what this thread is about, so whatever. I guess that's why my remix projects will never be OCR projects, because I don't agree with how things go down here. I'll take a good song with mediocre production over a boring song with top notch production any day. It seems like the total opposite here, but again, IT'S MY SHITTY JOE CAM OPINION WHO HAS NO RESPECT FROM PEOPLE ON OCR BECAUSE I'M IGNORANT AND CLOSED MINDED. Holy shit Dave... Overreaction at all? I brought that up because it seemed to me that one of the reasons people kind of brushed this off were because they were covers and not super complex arrangements. Mixes like this album were what brought me to this site and I dont' care if you like to hear it or not, but this site isn't the same as when I first came here. Some people might like the current direction, but I miss the old days. In my eyes the songs just don't seem the same. They don't seem as fun and they don't seem to have that "spark" anymore. Maybe I'm just a jaded old schooler who misses the days of JAXX and McVaffe and Ailsean having remixes posted regularly, but holy overreaction on your end. Shit, at least I know how to get in touch wtih you anymore. Been trying for weeks to get in touch, but I guess all I have to do is say something negative about the site and then not only do I have your ear, but your wrath as well. And I STILL don't see the problem with them charging for the album considering damn near every single game cover band out there has put out a CD and 99% of them aren't licensed at all.

Man what happened to this place... There was a time that every single one of those songs would be top tier OCR quality. Now it seems it's all about overproduced, soulless music. Don't get me wrong, there's still some fantastic music here, but it's just missing that spark it used to have. It doesn't feel alive anymore, it just feels like it's here to be here, not to stand out... Remember the Radical Dreamer's flood? Remember virt's early mixes (they used to be here!)? Remember Hillbilly remixes? That shit is gone forever...only to surface on April 1st. That's when the fun stuff can show up. I'm intersted in what Morse would do if he were behind his own site... There would be cocks everywhere. As for licensed albums... how many fully licensed, independently released albums have there been? This Place is Haunted? Nope. ARMCANNON? Nope. Chromolodeon? Nope. Temp Sound Solutions? Nope. The Minibosses? Hell no. The OneUps Volume 1? Hey we have a winner. Please, tell me some other fully licensed arrangement albums that aren't headed up by a professional studio or company...

Holy balls this game is so great. Got all the pieces and beat the game and I've heard stuff about Stars, but no way in hell am I going to try figuring them all out on my own. Maybe I'll check youtube to see what they're about.
