  1. Fact: Mega Man 5 for the GameBoy is awesome. Fact: The music for said game was also awesome. Fact: There aren't enough remixes of older portable games. This site is very console-oriented. Not that the consoles are bad or anything, they just get a lot more coverage. I second this request. The Mega Man series on the GameBoy had some nice original music Yes, a lot of the themes were carried over from the NES games, but the original songs were just as good.
  2. (Not sure if serious pic here*) If it was a problem for multiple people all at once, which it's not, then your comment might have some validity. But seeing how this is only happening to me, and no one else here (nor on any other board I've been too, searching for other people with the same or similar issues), it would seem to be an error on database management, not the service. The odd thing is, that in-game, it only lists two of them being unlocked, while on my steam account, it lists 18. I don't know why this has happened several times to me, and not to anyone else. Maybe they have my account mixed up with someone elses? *What? It's an overused image meme, and if there were any better, more original ones out there, I'd be happy to use them.
  3. I'm going to be kind of brutal, but in an honest way. That piano bit in the beginning doesn't fit. It sounds very... plain and fake. Actually, the entire piano through out the entire song doesn't fit very well. The electric guitar sounds fine. Just not that piano. Also, throwing the opening credits theme in the middle might get you a knock against it. I get what you were going for, but it doesn't mesh well with it. I think if you stuck to the one song, that would work better.
  4. Nooo! My achievements are gone again... all of my campaign completions, Realism and Expert ones have vanished, and all my tallied kills are reset. http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198002523609/stats/L4D2?tab=achievements What the fuck, Valve?
  5. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32087 http://www.google.ca/search?q=Marquestony81&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a If its email address is "marquestony81@macrosoft-system.info", then it's a bot. Macrosoft System is another "search engine optimizer" aka, a company that uses spambots as part of their "exposure" service.
  6. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32064 Sig links go to an on-line guitar store.
  7. Well, they never tried to fit the Smash Bros series into the Zelda timeline, so I don't think they will bother. Mind you, any true Zelda fanboy would make it fit, so get on it, fanboys.
  8. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32060 http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32059 http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32056 All of them have several spam links in their sigs.
  9. Well, happy birthday, but when was the first Soundscape's birthday?
  10. Dudes. Aliens Versus Predator. The first one. The one that was actually scary to play as a marine. They updated it for modern systems, and they're going to patch it and include online multiplayer through Steam. It's only like, 5 bucks. Come on, that game scared the shit out of me when I played it years ago. Being a marine was constant fear and terror, knowing that you were alone and everything was there to kill you.
  11. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32050 http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32048 <--- Another "Search Engine Optimizer" bot.
  12. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32043 Spam sig, and lots of new accounts ona lot of sites, with no posts and the same sig. http://www.google.ca/search?q=benjaltejar149&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a There seems to be a sudden surge in spambots getting past the registration system.
  13. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32041 Search Engine Optimization is a web marketing company. That uses spambots.
  14. The reason for that is because he's a spambot. I've reported it but no one has done anything about it. His sig goes to some bullshit diet supplement page where you can order it. Don't believe me? Take his quote from here: And compare it to this page: If he's an actual person, then he's just copy-pastaing. If he's a bot, then they've got a way to copy-paste surprisingly relevant content.
  15. I think you got a dud. I have games that old and played them a lot, and they still work.
  16. Ret-con it. The whole fucking series. Nothing happened before, it's totally new, like everything from the mid 90s and past never happened. They do it all the time with comic books and now TV shows, so why not a game series?
  17. That's odd, because I have all five games and there are all those ROMs floating around... is it that hard to take the actual game and redo it? Or how about just remaking them from scratch with new graphics and sprites, like they did with just about anything the GBA did (Mario Advance series, Zelda, a few others I could name, but won't, because the list would be quite long). I think they cited money reasons, but I have to think that was bullshit, and instead wanted people to buy the newer Mega Man games that were out at the time.
  18. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32034 Again, see sig.
  19. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32026 http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32025 Spam in sigs.
  20. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32024 Spam sig. Wow, that's a lot in the last few days.
  21. Maybe one day, Nintendo will offer DSi downloads of old GameBoy games, like how the Wii has all those retro games. I do wish they had put that GBA Mega Man collection out, though. Having all five in one cart with better graphics and sounds would have been great.
  22. The DS version was pretty cool. Stop the hatin', man. It's making babies cry.
  23. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32012 See sig. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32009 http://www.google.ca/search?q=Valenciangad&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a See sig. Also, his sig links to a diet supplement. Lots of single or 0 posts on lots of sites. He posts mostly on topic, so I suspect that it's actually a person or one very adaptive spambot. The interesting thing about his post, is that while it's on topic, it's just copy and paste from this page (Under the header of "In Use" the middle of the second paragraph. Compare his post to that article, and it's word for word. I wonder how it did that.
  24. http://ocremix.org/forums/member.php?u=32010 Spam link in his sig. Checking other forums that have the same member name, the profiles are identical, and they all signed up in within 24 hours. Some of them have already banned the account. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=Kko&q=mikeliles+forum&btnG=Search&meta=&aq=f&oq= The link in his sig goes to an "internet marketing training center" where they sell programs on how to "sell" things on websites... so basically, it's spam on how to pay to learn how to spam. http://www.google.ca/search?q=wealthy+affiliate&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
