  1. tomb hamilton is an awesome person
  2. i just need to record tenor and mine's done. lots of vocals recorded yesterday, it was a good day. had both a low D below the bass clef staff and a high B in the middle of the treble clef =)
  3. you're on tap for thursday, stevo. just wanted to let you know.
  4. if you have nothing going on in your life, it's easy to finish songs quickly. i did my first track for link's awakening in three weeks, and i did the track for zircon's FF7 compo in thirteen hours (eight minutes of saxophone quintet, written, recorded, mastered, and uploaded). i wrote eighty minutes of game soundtrack - original work - in four months. honestly, who gives a shit? remixing isn't a job. the minute it becomes one, i'm going to stop. i have music from 2005 waiting to be released because of projects. big deal. i want to get noticed, i do other stuff. projects are a longevity thing. people take time because everyone works creatively at a different pace. you can say that kind of annoying crap about how slow we all are all you want, but you won't understand until you actually run a project and you have no one on it because you pushed too hard to finish. you'll hurt your sphincter if you do that. people need time to sleep, to eat, to relax - sometimes you can just sit down and work for eight hours and it's done, but most people can't do that in one shot. that's just how it is - suck it up and deal with it. i wouldn't be surprised if stevo kicks your track if you keep complaining about being done early, so that you can just release it and enrich us all.
  5. he gave me some hassle, but dwarves/golems make that battle WAY easier than it could be. nine hundred tanks annoying the bossman makes it easy to either backstab or get him from a distance.
  6. it's so that they don't have to make seven or eight CDs or DVDs when five will do. if you installed them elsewhere, you'd likely not get the registry data backed up as well (which is the important part). maybe you should just keep them rather than selling them as soon as you bought it.
  7. i saw. didn't get to the other one because of thanksgiving and me losing my job and being out of town. sorry.
  8. maybe that's why they sent it.
  9. i used morrigan as a horridly overpowered mage throughout most of the game and found that having a dps mage helps a lot. the game's difficult if you don't use tactics, which is kind of the point of pretty much everything. using petrify/stonefist, grease/fireball, vulnerability hex/life siphon, etc on your mage help out a lot, along with actually using knockdowns properly instead of just spamming them everywhere.
  10. sure. how much is the dongle, anyways?
  11. roofie PMs aren't allowed through bbcode, sorry.
  12. i have a broken one, but i'm not going to do that to you =) sorry. they go on sale on amazon often for around ten dollars. keep your eyes open over the holidays.
  13. it's got a surprising amount of flexibility, actually. i was having a lot of fun playing with it.
  14. hope you got a 216. they're really smoking - what i'm using, on a 1920x1200 monitor, and i've got settings at full. pretty awesome.
  15. hey, bleck! we get it! you don't like this game! now please shut the fuck up and stop repeating yourself. it's getting annoying.
  16. whew, can't believe i missed this thread this significantly. if you want to include my 'o come' arrangement again, feel free. i've been meaning to remaster and rerecord it. also, mark me down for 'mary did you know'. i've got an arrangement at 50% i never finished.
  17. short answer, yes. long answer, i thought he leaves if that happens. i don't know - i didn't.
  18. i found a list online. i'm definitely interested, PM me with the exact amount (whatever's cheapest) and i'll pay via paypal.
  19. anusanusanus
  20. nope, mine. get it right =(
  21. i might be inclined to do the whole thing, but i need to look into what issues were in there. i'm more interested for nostalgia factor than anything else =) if i only got a few, i'd get a good number.
  22. let me know when you pick. i'll give you more up-to-date info then.
  23. liquid cooling did it. that's a lot of power there. when i go LC, i'm going to have it be powered externally. a lot easier that way - i can shut it down a little after the computer, to allow it to finish cooling the system rather than just shutting down and setting the computer on fire with waste heat.
  24. i'm interested. i'd also be interested in if you'll separate certain issues. if you're going to magfest, or know someone close by who is, i'll get them there =) edit: don't forget to look at flat-rate boxes, too, since they'd be WAY cheaper per pound than standard shipping.
  25. this is correct. there is no way/point to go from the early 360s to an HDMI without an expensive converter. composite and component are analog cables, hdmi is (in the name!) digital. you'd need something to convert the signals, but there's no gain in visual quality. arcade units are the hot cheap item this season. they all are jaspers, which fail less than 5% of the time, and all have hdmi cables. they also all have internal 512mb memory.
