it does, but it's not a computer. most usb devices aren't compatible with it. some hard drives are, but only if they're formatted in a specific way, and you can only use them to play movies and music, if i remember correctly.

done. all sorts of gba cartridges, pretty cool. i might wind up picking up one or two if i can't get the emulators working on my psp.

if something goes through on ebay properly, i just got ffx, ffx-2, and ffxii (with the game guides for x and xii) for 35$ plus 6$ shipping. original editions, too, not greatest hits. ooh-HA! i love birthday money. this is assuming that the ended auction that i spotted (without any bids) gets relisted with a BIN, like i asked the guy to. but i think he'll do it.

it's a proprietary interface that only fits on the 360, unlike the ps3 which fits most hard drives that fit in the case slot. and, if i remember correctly, it's got a customized file structure within that can't be duplicated without opening it through a special program.

ah! it's because you don't have a full version of windows on your disc. you've got an upgrade-only disc, requiring a previous validated version of windows in order to install.

i agree with this. sometimes movies with little dialogue work out really well.

i loved the game. a lot. i'm currently looking for flags, for completion. 2 is supposed to bring water-based gameplay, several characters, and tweaked freerunning to make it feel more like mirror's edge style of running. which would be awesome, because the roofrunning didn't hold up as well once i'd played through mirror's edge.

find a guy with a 360, transfer all your files to a brand new hard drive that he buys using the transfer cable, send the whole kit and caboodle back. sell refurbished drive on ebay. actually, since savegames are all that matter (you can re-download DLC by transferring the license with the license transfer tool...you can only use it once a year, though) just have him get a memory card to save his stuff onto. they're like 20 or 30 bucks. you can't transfer files to a computer without installing some dastardly i/o device drivers that can really screw with your system. and, last time i tried (a few weeks ago), xp sp3 isn't supported without severe system instability.

but they're disney characters. and i've seen the game, and enjoyed it. for what it's worth, games that turned me off from the styling include games like Jeanne d'Arc, where it felt like i was watching a cartoon (ahem, anime) the whole time. kingdom hearts doesn't feel like that.

that's what i've heard, and that's what has me excited for the game. edit: just got kingdom hearts 1 and 2 for ps2 shipped for about 18 dollars on ebay as a package deal. hoo-yah!

first link on a google search of "360 hard drive list" is the main one available. basically, the elevator scenes are just as long (they're coded to be that long no matter what) but there aren't loading screens when you move around too fast.

now why would that be? i'm already arranging to buy it. i can deal with anime-styled games if they've got something else that catches me. i'm playing star ocean 4, for goodness sake.

no, there shouldn't be a difference there. the difference between internal and external cards is that the external ones don't require installation, and they generally aren't as nice-sounding as internal ones. if you're getting a lot of noise in your line, you probably just aren't grounded properly. that'll cause the hz sound. if it's just static, you're probably using the wrong line level or something.
