i live in a college town (cornell and ithaca college are here, about 35k students between them) and the atmosphere was definitely different than it would have been back home in buffalo. i kinda liked it. and, YES, comedian was excellent. his attitude, all the different shots of him at different ages...absolutely excellent.

who got the demo? i thought it was a pretty interesting look into what the game could be. melee combat is pretty refined. the menus drove me insane, though. i'm looking forward to the full version of the game.

may i suggest the acer 22" widescreen monitor? you'll have to get custom drivers to run widescreen off of a laptop, but it's under 200$ usually somewhere and it's a solid buy.

the old thread was mad old and filled with conjecture. so i started a new thread just to have someone bump the old one within two minutes. oh well, thanks for covering my mistake, darke. i saw it at midnight tonight. it was what i expected - a relatively fulfilling and artful presentation of the book. i knew it couldn't fulfill everything - particularly the marooned storyline, and the *spoiler* real ending *end spoiler* but it was still an exciting experience. intensely visceral, i had trouble watching a few parts (particularly the scene with the comedian and hooded justice and the scene with the dogs and the knives), but that's to be expected since they're just as visceral as the graphic novel portrayed them. there were some choices i didn't like, but as a whole i thought it was good. what did you think?

i know. he's a friend of mine on steam, so i notice when he's online. don't worry, i never thought ocr-ians would let him run anything =)

i noticed he seems to be online on steam a lot but i didn't know he ran the server. i thought that molto always acted like an idiot. i didn't know that was a change =)

i'm not saying that it should have been different, i'm saying i didn't like it just like i didn't like UT 2003 (or whatever it was). it's a decent 'party' game, but i've never gotten into online multiplayer of fps games.

eh, it's still the same gameplay as it was way back when with slightly updated visuals. it's fun, yeah, but i never got into that style of play.

ginger's definitely still alive, you see her post occasionally. she's also married, so there's definitely going to be no more teen pr0n, duh. she posted those pictures when she was 17, i think, and she's 21 or so now. firedrake's still around here somewhere. i thought i figured out a possible alt account that was him, but i forgot the name. that was a while ago, though. edit: i'm never on remod, but what did they do there? troll the shit out of it as well?

no, the issue is that the mobo gets too hot. the psu is smaller on the native jasper units, but it's BECAUSE they require less power, not to cut down on temp. those psus are like 96% efficient or something ridiculous like that - they make almost no heat. the brick does that =)

i've worked long-distance before several times. it works well.

i'm really enjoying this game. i'm not quite done with it yet, and my OCD tendancies make me want to beat each level before i move onto the next one (aka get all the pieces, which can be time-consuming), but i REALLY enjoy it. it's such a cool game as a whole.
