What about changes in musicians? Drummer, guitar, bass, etc. Do you notice it or did you have to REALLY listen to it to say "hey, they did change someone".

So what, there's a device generating energy that is wirelessly transferred to any electronic device "plugged in" to it? Explain because my mind is about to burst.

Hey now, lets not turn this into Jesus metal vs Satan metal. What are your thoughts on bands who change their lead vocalist? I know a famous vocalist change was with Arch Enemy, who went from a male vocalist to a female one.

Its not necessarily the lyrical content that I like. If its beyond what I define as brutal, than I will listen to it, regardless of the lyrical content. But if its all just "do this way, its the greatest, blah blah blah" subliminal messaging, then I won't listen to it. Also, there has to be a certain level of brutality within the bands skill as musicians. If they can suddenly play insanely slow or ungodly fast, wow. Drums and guitar are a must in that field. Slow growls and/or squealing works too.

I wouldn't necessarily label Krisiun as brutal death metal, but I guess some people can. Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Aborted (newer), Nile, Skinless, Vomitory, Vital Remains... shit. There is tons of them.

As of right now, the really deep, dark, and morbid, slow death metal is what I am into. They kind that is so slow that you move real slow to its beat. Not really into the metalcore/deathcore as much, but I'll still listen to it. What got you into death metal or metal in general?

Anyone else on the forums like listening to brutal death metal? I don't wish this thread to be turned into a favorites thread or a flame war. Discuss brutal death metal. Nothing more, nothing less.

QFTI've played a PSP before. Only for a few minutes, but still. I liked it, but I guess if you play it regulary, you'd get sick of the design and battery life. A touch screen would ruin it because Sony has already attempted to emulate features that Nintendo has done famously with (motion sensor controllers, touch screen). They can try, but I foresee someone getting extremely mad when their PSP battery dies and they stab their screen in frustration with a stylus.

USA has like 20+ gold medals... whereas China has 40+ gold. Why do you think that is? I think its because its China's chance to show the world that they too have good athletes and they afraid to show it off.

I will wait until its out on dvd before I see it. I know the Clone Wars cartoon has a strong fanbase, so I'm surprised there is no outrage from them for its kiddie 3d look.

The one thing I don't like about free mmo's are bots that camp monster areas and rape the loot and exp that the real players are trying to get. I highly doubt this "Perfect World" will be anything but.

I think the last game I rented was for my PSX, and I think it was either one of the Spyro games or The Emperor's New Groove. Other than that, I usually do lots of research before I go out and buy a game. That way I am not disappointed in it after the initial purchase.

I see what you did there....On topic, I saw Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira interview the General Manager of XBox LIVE talk about FFXIII on the 360. After a commercial break, Morgan joined them, as well as an X-Play E3 analyst. They said it was a smart move on Microsoft's part because their fan base in Japan is rather small. Microsoft (I guess) is hoping for a more widespread audience in Japan.

I need to finish it. I have like... uhhh... 4 or 5 other rpg's I need to finish this Summer. Oblivion, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Diablo II, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (hard mode). Has anyone looked into the alleged "inspiration" for the final boss?

Me and my friend lan'd that game on the Fourth until 2 am. Got through Baal and the Cow Level. He made a Barbarian and I was already playing my Necromancer. We started Nightmare mode but I had to go back to my house. His mom killed the lan. Right now he's borrowing my disk so he can play until he picks up the battle chest sometime this week. I'm currently not really interested in battle.net because I'd rather play single player or lan. But once I get more into the game and my friend gets the battle chest, I will battle.net more.

Alright. One my friends told me you could play Diablo II via LAN but not on the same network. He's done it with friends before, but this he's stumped as to why it won't work. Anyways we can fix this?

I, and like many others, have not played Diablo. But the Diablo Battlechest is only $20 at your local game store. Good buy, imo. I'm gonna load that up on my pc and nerdgasm before D3.

Getting a little bit off topic. Whats your first reaction upon reading that Microsoft isn't going to sell XP? For me, I was shocked. I like XP because the icons don't take up 75% of the screen and it isn't copying OS X with its widgets and side bar enhancements. XP has been very reliable for me and I will continue to use it in the future.
