    It's been a good number of years, Aurora. It's great to see you're still around. How've things been for you, and how went the studies that kept you snow bound for a while?

    As for me, I'm doing alright. Had some ups and downs, but life likes to do that to us all, doesn't it? I'm still working on the occasional remix, doing illustrative/graphic design work, trying to get a trio of novels done (very far in #2 now), 'Twas is still a thing (did #13 last year), and I'm still tinkering with sprite work. I've got a DeviantArt account now, since I got tired of my freebie site hosts going belly up on me. It doesn't have everything, but I've gotten a fair bit uploaded...

    Heh, I remember you. It has been a long while , hasn't it?

    I'm still here outside of the 'Twas stuff and An OverClocked Christmas albums, I just don't post as much as I once did. Still come by at some point each day, though, seeing if anything of interest is going on.

    What about you? How've you been since the last time you were visiting and posting regularly (which seems like a decade ago :lol:)?

    It's obviously Ivan's call, but it seems to me that it's still a port since it didn't originate on the PS1. And thus, ineligible.

    Not to sound snarky, but then why allow arcade ports? They're not PS1 games, just ports, even if some only got ported to the PS1 and no other systems (the PS1 was competing with arcades as well at the time... trying to lure people away to the PS1). Plus, TFV only came to the U.S. on the PS1 via Working Designs. So there's that making it a U.S. exclusive for Sony's system. Anyway, just thought I'd throw the offer out there since I had an idea for "The Justice Ray Part 2." Best of luck with the project

    Tell them that as long as the proper remixer is credited in the video/video description (it is their remix after all, not OCR's), there's no reason to delete the post... ... and that they're being mean poo-poo heads.

    I saw the commercial! It's for a TV channel called Rev'n, and they use the song for their promo. It doesn't give the song a name, but now it can be heard in its original form...

    Yep, I'm making another one of these threads. Annoying to some I'm sure, but damn it, this is bugging me after a week. https://www.dropbox.com/s/23uogifo8hrqfvs/unkown_song.mp3?dl=0 I heard a song on the ol' TV, and I could swear I've heard it before somewhere... but I can't think of where. I know my tune uses synths, but the original is basically a rock-like song (from the bit I heard anyway). The main melody is a very buzzy-sounding distorted guitar I believe, with genre fitting drums and bass behind it. I tried AudioTag with no luck, and Midomi uses a microphone to record you humming it, but I don't have a mic on my monitor. So any help from the good people of OCR would be appreciated

    Aaaawwwwwww, but that'll ruin the fun! All anyone has to do is go into their User Control Panel (User CP) along the top, click on "Edit Options," and scroll down to "Thread Display Options." Pick "Linear - Oldest First," and presto... done. It'll take them all of twenty seconds, and then their life will be filled with joy, kittens, and only occasional irregularity

    I knew I forgot about something. I got sick a week ago and it kicked my ass. I already have the add-on in Firefox, so that isn't the issue. I tried several other times before I got sick, and it just never finished. Today, when I got the notification for this thread, I tried again, and after some fifteen minutes, the download finally finished that last 1%. So something's still screwy, but at least it finished this time.

    They did a while back. It was part of their "On The House" thing for about a week or thereabouts. If anyone likes pinball games, half of the Pinball FX2 lineup is 66% off at the moment. Also, the Steam edition of Red Faction: Guerrilla is $2.99 until later today.

    Ah, my first stab at being project director. Lots of PMs, lots of bugging people... FUN! First, a "thanks" to Dyne for entrusting me with his baby. He could have asked any number of other people who had a lot more experience than me with stuff like this, but he took a chance and let me take the wheel. Thankfully, I didn't steer it into the wall on the final turn. Another "thanks" to everyone who came through for the album. It turned out pretty spiffy if I do say so myself, and you guys all did a great job. And for a change, my track isn't drastically quieter than everyone else's And finally, a "thanks" to the orphans for not leaving a bloodbath in the wake of this project. That's always a plus. Hope you all enjoy it, and Merry Christmas!

    I know the feeling. Mine's screwy since it comes off as improve jazz, and trying to give it some structure in a different genre isn't proving to be an easy task.

    Cool idea, but Mega never finishes the downloads. It stops at 99% and then just sits there until you get tired of waiting and close the browser window. I've tried seven times to download the MT-32 version of the Castlevania X68000 music, with the seventh time sitting at 99% for over three hours while I did other work, before I gave up. Am I the only one having this issue?
