  1. Tis been a while but now im back with a brand new mix. Rate and Comment Remix - Original -
  2. My first remix. I'm sure it's not nearly as good as most of yours, so please don't hold back on feedback. Remix: http://tindeck.com/listen/rgih Source: Starts off pretty slowly because I wanted to build up calmly into the more varying melodies near the middle/end of the song. Pretty short like the source.
  3. Main Themes from: Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Tetris (song A), Punch-Out!!, Bubble Bobble, Mega Man 2 (Air Man Theme), and Double Dragon (Title Theme)
  4. Hey! I finished my first public album and wanted to share it! It's a sort of chill-out/alternative/ambient style of music, and I had a lot of fun using limited tools! http://www.host-a.net/u/Overflow/The%20Pelagic%20Zone.zip I made it entirely using Electroplankton(DS), Korg DS-10+(DS), Beat it!(iOS) and the GameBoy Camera. Here's a preview: I think it turned out pretty well. My artist name is GameBird because I felt Overflow wasn't that memorable, and I think Overflow is used already. I have considered asking the mods to change my username to GameBird, but for now I'll just let you know that GameBird/Overflow are both me It's free to download and share with your friends, but please give me credit for it if you use some songs for anything of yours. Let me know what you think! EDIT: actually, I wonder if this would be considered a remix album, since it is taking from a video game?
  5. New beat I put together; going for a nice spacey synthy vibe, sorta Kid Cudi type MP3 Player SoundClick Put a new tag on the beat too, let me know what you think!
  6. Pop beat I've been working on for a bit; sampled a terrible 90's hip hop song that had horrendous verses but a dope chorus, so I jacked it: MP3 Player SoundClick I've gone back and worked on the mix three or four times and I think I finally came up with someone passable...what do you think?
  7. I decided to give this song a shot, and I wanna know what you guys/gals think about it. Anything I can change or fix?
  8. Ridiculous drunken music video me and my friend made about the cheap gas station booze drank Tilt. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9FvZY3D_YQ
  9. Here is a little track that I finished recently: Remix: http://tindeck.com/listen/vlwg Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1GxznTaiwI It's built entirely around the opening riff from the theme. The remix is prob too liberal to pass the judges. I want to work on some other songs now so instead of spending too much time redoeing this track so it will pass the panel I decided to just release it. So instead of just keeping it on my HD thought it would be better to release the mix. Please feel free to leave any type of praise, suggestions, or critiques. If anyone is interested I can post the Reason song file. Some of the synths used are from the Deepflight refill but otherwise everything is factory stuff. If anyone feels like taking the song and adding enough source material to try and make this an OC ReMix just let me know. I will handle all of the mastering and mixing need be.
  10. This song isn't intended for submission to OCR, because I don't really feel like waiting and I don't think it fits with the site's focus on interpretation anyway. This is a finished piece too, so I'm not really looking for feedback on how to improve the mix. Enjoy it for what it is. A remix. http://tindeck.com/listen/pevn
  11. A mix of the Chozo Ruins music from Metroid Prime and the Green Brinstar theme from Super Metroid. It's not the most polished thing ever, but for all intents and purposes I think I'm probably done with it. For now, at least.
  12. Hi guys! Since I Made up this project before formating and now it is all screwed up in my FL Studio I'll share it as a finished song and will never send into submission but you can hear It anyway. Source: FF1 Blaster Master Hope you enjoy Remix:
  13. Color a Dinosaur - Color a MacGyver [3.50MB] This is a remix I made for our April Fool's Day joke here on OCR. We were supposed to post it to the site as a joke mix, but for whatever reason that didn't end up happening. Here are my mix comments that were supposed to be posted in djpretzel's write-up: When we were discussing our April Fool's joke I volunteered to do a legitimately good remix of Color a Dinosaur that we could conceivably leave up on the site after April Fool's day. I sat down and listened to the title theme and as I kept listening to it, I kept bridging part of the theme into a section from the theme song to MacGyver. Some people might not be old enough to remember MacGyver but it was a pretty awesome show from the 80s/90s with a great theme song, so I decided to work that into my remix and just run with it, disregarding the idea of leaving it up on OCR. I ran into some issues with other stuff and wasn't able to work on my remix in earnest until Thursday night, so I quickly knocked this out in a couple of hours. It's a fairly straightforward dance track with a nice atmosphere. I already have a pretty good idea of what I'd need to do to actually get this posted, but I'm probably not gonna come back to this again unless I really feel like it, so just enjoy.
  14. My latest and greatest folks. Enjoy! BONUS POINTS: To anyone that can insert a George Carlin reference, quote, anything when replying to this thread. -gar
  15. Hey people! "Dellys Plains" is a modern type of Japanese RPG background music, reminiscent of games such as Final Fantasy XIII. I had this mostly done for quite a while and just threw a finisher on it. This will go on the main website soon, with other new stuff. http://www.xavierdang.com/promomp3/Xavier_Dang_-_Dellys_Plains.mp3 Hope you'll like it, please visit my website for more
  16. Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, OK!? http://reuniverse.org (170+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ I finally found the time to both finish this track (took me 1.5 years) and release it as well! Wow, grats me. "Eight 8-Bit Sized Bytes" is a fusion of stomping downtempo psytrance music and plato's trademark style that blends IDM, Chip-music and a little bit of crazy. We here at the RNS headquarters hope that you will enjoy listening to this as much as plato hated working on it. Some project just take way too much time. Now that this is released, however. The releases will keep coming. Next week we have a NEWCOMMER! - Stay tuned for that! 17. Remix by: MusicGamerX 2011 Album: Back to Retro I hope you like it!
  18. I've always wanted to do this song! Figuring out the melody took some time but at last! I have a Morrigan theme remix! I also had to play a guitar solo. Everything needs a solo. Everything. I hope I spelled Chateau right As always, tips, criticisms, love letters and hate mail appreciated.
  19. Hi everyone! I Know there are already plenty of Frog theme remixes! But here's my First remix/cover! ARRANGEMENT / INTERPRETATION [X] Too conservative - sticks too close to the source (I know already )

I also did Ecco the dolphin Suite from both sega genesis games. anyways heres the youtube links Piece titled "Megaman Resurrection" Ecco The Dolphin suite 20 min long at 11:20 is where the music takes off
  23. Dance inspired remix of an awesome song from Persona. I've changed a few parts here and there, most noticable in the beginning. I've added a fair few original parts too but the lead of the track is pretty much intact.
  24. This one is from an album I made back ion the fall. The theme is that of Comics and I did this piece as an action sequence of Magneto's final battle. Its all all stringed piece and no vocals.
