Instrumental & Vocal Skills (Other)

  1. (Updated!) Remix: http://soundcloud.com/timotayo/the-tropical-milky-galactic source: Edit (02-26-2011) - Remastered the track, fixed some instrumentation. Overall it's a lot more evened out and less flamboyant. Playing with more and more synths, breakbeats, layers, and funky/R&B/chiptune/soul sounds. Again, being very liberal with the source, though how liberal does one go before it veers off into new territory? I do not know...
  2. Would be especially interested in getting feedback on the tone of the digital piano I used for this cover. Sorry I did not record a proper video. Enjoy and thanks. EDIT: Mp3 here: https://sites.google.com/site/pianod...moon_theme.mp3 ... and original, lofi YouTube link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYvVDCbhAjU

  4. Thinkin' this one is nearly finished, just wanted some feedback. Had Final Fantasy VII in mind while working on it, anyway, enjoy. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3253668/Zone%20Out.mp3
  5. Here's my take on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Ice Cap Zone. Fairly laid back. Original - Remix - http://soundcloud.com/drgigglebytes/sonics-snow-shoes Download - http://www.box.net/shared/lv0ylfquro Any feedback is always a plus.
  6. Hey Guys, take a look here: http://www.youtube.com/user/BenDibbert?feature=mhum this is my youtube channel. Comment's are always welcome^^ Hope you enjoy some of my music greets from germany! Ben
  7. My new crown Jewel! I made the save room theme from Resident Evil 3 into a killer new arrangement! I added in a bunch of original parts as the source was pretty short. Please please please give feedback! Now, let us Return to Raccoon City!
  8. Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, OK!? http://reuniverse.org (170+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ Yes! I am aware that this track is on both protagonist and reunion in form of SGX' album. But I felt like I had to release at least one single from the album! And so. Mythril Nazgul is officially in our artist roster! Grats m8 http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/172%20-%20SGX%20-%20Right%20Back%20Up%20%5BFeat.%20Navi%5D.mp3 Enjoy!!!

  10. I think i posted this b4, and i did not post the finish , this is very rushed 3 months ago so im posting this to show as my first protools track rather then using ableton. i will post my thaughts on the daw later *P.S* bitrate does sound a bit crappy cause im on a crap interface with no real A/D converter, so its not the best 24bit(nor worst), just to let you audio whores know.... heres a quick track http://soundcloud.com/aires/at-first-i-was-like *note* this track is finished.
  11. The winter theme (song played throughout winter) for Harvest Moon 64. While the game wasn't the best HM game to date, it was a very memorable one. I figured with the cold weather outside and it snowing in Texas, which is still hard to believe, this song would work perfectly. Made it a bit more dark and cold, so to speak. Let me know what you guys think. My piano arrangement: Original:
  12. It's a little loud (I hope a Newgrounds link will suffice?). Made using Anvil Studio and FL Studio 9 Demo. It's not super awesome or anything. Just figured I'd post it here since it's my latest song. How'd I do, keeping in mind that I'm still using the default sound bank that came with Anvil?
  13. So this is from a project I finished a while ago that I never really got any feedback on from music peoples. I think this was one of the best tracks from the project. Feedback on what I could have done better or what I did well is appreciated. Here it is: We The Polluted
  14. FEAR NO LONGER I HAVE PRODUCED WHAT YOU WANTED. This is, like, the soundtrack to my, like, January 2011. Honestly. I'd make out to this if I were you and think of me. This is good advice.
  15. Hello everyone, this is my first post on these forums. Recently I've been doing some work with this tune so tell me what you think: tindeck link: http://tindeck.com/listen/zqlx youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGTymWBPoKQ I think mixing can be done a bit better but I'm new to all this and I'll need a while to figure some stuff out, but I believe I'll have an improved version soon.
  16. I had to do a three song mash up for my music production class final project. Back To Mad - Texas Faggot Mindbender - zircon Warhead - zircon http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15510436/File%20Sharing/Mad%20Warbender.mp3 Enjoy.
  17. Here's a more waltzy version of Bubbly Clouds from the various Kirby games. This is another song I've had that's had some good reviews from other sites. However, I may feel that I can do better with it more towards the ending. I just wanted to know what everyone here thinks. http://tindeck.com/listen/umze
  18. This is a piece I made quite some time ago. I designed it as if it were in a Pokemon game for one of its battle themes. I think it turned out pretty well. I've had good reviews on it so far. http://tindeck.com/listen/pokn
  19. Hello everyone, This is my first ReMix post on this site. I don't really know how it works here so I'll just post. Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong I did this version of Mechanical Walkin' (from TMNT3 on the NES) sometime last year and decided to post it as a ReMix here. Here's the video: Enjoy
  20. Hey, everyone! This here is "Sundown," an original song written by me in August-September of 2010. I spent a few months recording it - it was a lot of hard work because I'm a perfectionist and refused to compromise quality, haha. I sang, arranged, and played all the instruments (harp, guitar, keyboard) except for percussion (djembe, tambourine, rainstick), which was done by my husband. The instruments are all acoustic except for the keyboard, which is that subtle "bass" sound later in the song. It's the first song I wrote on the harp, which I've been playing since May 2010. I poured my soul into this song and recording, so I hope you guys like it! Feedback will be appreciated. Thanks! Youtube link: MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/natalyazarraga
  21. Title: Legend of Ass Destruction (translated) Intended genre: JFusion/Funk/Pop, anime OP pastiche FINAL AUDIO VERSION: http://djtbmx.stdrand.com/muzik/mein/djtBMX_-_Haika_shiri_no_densetsu_tvsize.mp3 MIDI Renders: http://djtbmx.stdrand.com/muzik/mein/djtBMX_HakaiShiriNoDensetsu_syxg2006le.mp3 http://djtbmx.stdrand.com/muzik/mein/djtBMX_HakaiShiriNoDensetsu_sw1000xg.mp3 Hey everyone, started this yesterday and just finished it a few minutes ago, after a ray of inspiration suddenly striking me (and in effect taking time away from doing my SPC6 votes hurr hurr). This was spurred from a thought of looking back at my old compositions, and new inspirations since my last PROPER composition (which was 4 years ago now, my song for VGMA I think) Anyway, it feels fulfilling to finally finish a composition in record time, and actually love it. (I hope you guys/gals do too.) MIDI: http://djtbmx.stdrand.com/muzik/mein/djtBMX_HakaiShiriNoDensetsu.mid EDIT: Audio test (just testing instruments)- http://djtbmx.stdrand.com/junkpile/djtBMX_HakaiShiriNoDensetsu_audiotest.mp3
  22. I'm back from an absence, just to say that I made a remix. And it doesn't sound like crap. Yay. It's a remix of the Sealed Chamber in Cave Story and this is just me screwing around with the Z3TA plugin that someone recommended to me using Yahoo Answers... by accident. Yes, it has little similarities to the real thing, but you'll hear it. Link
  23. http://soundcloud.com/cory-r/time-trax-tim-follin-cover Please be gentle! I'm a delicate little flower on the inside
  24. I don't know how many of you are familiar with this VG series, but it's from the makers of Harvest Moon and has been going about as long. LOTRK (or Kawa No Nushi Tsuri in Japan) is a Fishing RPG. I got both GBC games when I was 10 and 11 and recently tracked them down again. Anyways, this is the theme music to the beach area of LOTRK2. This is the first area you get to when you play as the teenager. The original is very short, but I added extra to it, building up intros and outros around the main melody. Basically, from 2:14 until 2:43 is what's heard in game, albeit with more primitive instruments, obviously. Original: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?lzrdd307zz8c38u [0:34] My Remix: [7:18] (Choose 720p or higher for good quality)PS: If the guy from the Hylian Melodies project is reading this, I'm still working on the 2-in-1 remix
