  1. I'm a massive fan of both Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer, and I think the new movie Interstellar is their best collaboration to date. The music in that movie is... Well... I don't think I can describe it as anything other than magical. As with a lot of music that inspires me, I was compelled to remix it. I rocked it up a bit from the source material, since the source material is pretty mellow, and in my opinion it turned out kinda cool. Check it out if you're a fan of symphonic rock, orchestral music, or just awesome soundtracks! As always, I'd LOVE some feedback too. That's what I come here for.
  2. Here I am with my second Zelda song of the month! I didn't get too crazy with the arrangement on this one. Just gave it a nice break-beat and some sick synth parts.I hope you enjoy it! I never really noticed the counter-melody until I got to arranging it, and man is it awesome!
  3. Hey yall! im back again this time with something a little different. over the last month or so I've been working on a doom/funeral doom track and im pleased to say its finally done. If your in to the extreme side of music come check this out, I dont believe it will disapoint!! https://soundcloud.com/schizophrenichousecat/dead-sea
  4. Hi guys... glad to be here. Here's what I hope is the first part of a 3 part terranigma mix, from the underworld to the resurrection of the world and the final confrontation https://soundcloud.com/carlos-ib-ez-chacana/carlos-vgm-expresso-hour-thirteen-ft-jubrail-1 Hope you like it Greetings P.S.: Also check my other project alongside a good friend of mine www.soundcloud.com/the-last-wish-of-aven
  5. Hey everyone, I just uploaded my cover of this iconic piece played on Electronic Wind Instruments. I'd love to hear what you think!
  6. Hey guys, I just finished a remix of Sonic the Hedgehog - Marble Zone, and would like to hear your thoughts on it. Not sure if this has any chance of making it past the judges since it's a pretty conservative remix since it started out as a simple remaster of the song. I'm pretty happy with the mixing and production, but if there's anything you think could be improved I'd love to hear it. Thanks for your time guys. 7. The concluding song of the upcoming Devil Creations 2nd album is extremely progressive and over 13 minutes in length - I call it a thrash metal symphony. I'd recommend it for old school Sepultura & Metallica fans. This is the first master mix / release candidate so constructive criticism about the mixing & sounds is welcome.
  8. https://soundcloud.com/kekopro/more-than-blood A score-ish piece that goes from a world sound to a reflective cinematic feeling. Love to hear what you think!
  9. Take a minute out of your stressful day to enjoy some nice relaxing doom metal! Download the mp3 to add to your library: http://www.michaellochlann.net/music/Michael_Lochlann_-_Kyrie_%28Flowers_of_Evil_mix%29_2014.mp3 Original by I believe Yoko Shimimura. Posted this last year and got a good response. I rerecorded the lead guitars, re-mixed and remastered. Sounds a lot better now. Mostly note for note except for drums so I guess I can't submit to OCR, and I can't think of a non shitty way to arrange it more. Let me know if you like.
  10. As with last time, this is a track I did for class. We had to do impressionism this time. You can see the painting I took inspiration from in the link. https://soundcloud.com/ohaiguy/project-4-cosmic-snow Enjoy! *Edit* This is a work in progress until Friday. But, at that point, it will be finished (since it's due.)
  11. Did this well over a year ago, it was supposed to be for the apparently-dead DK64 project. It's finished, I just don't have a name, because SOMEONE took the obvious name already. Once I learned that a part of me died. It's a genre that I want to do much more: orchestral. If I ever get off my lazy ass and do anything... Yet unnamed DK Isle remix
  12. I put finished but I might do something to it later. Just wanted to make a chill trap-ish remix to an absolute vibing classic, especially seeing that I didn't see a remix for this one ANYWHERE on this site. Lemme know what you think. 15. Hey, guys! I just posted my new remix on soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/platonist/super-metroid-drowning-in-iron-oxide-remix-brinstar-red-soil-wetlands-area feedback super-appreciated! about the mix: I really love the source (brinstar - red soils wetland area) and super metorid is such an godly classic that I just couldn't not remix this. It's a pretty conservative remix in terms of chordprogressions and melody but I tried to keep it as interesting as i could with layering, structure changes / genre-swapping & time signature modifications/alternations. let me know what you think! cheers edit: oh and don't forget to follow me on soundcloud if you like it, i post music, both remixes and original stuff there regularly
  16. Hi everyone, I haven't posted any music here for a very long time and just wanted to post some of my recent work. A Chapter's End- https://instaud.io/3oM Begin The Battle- https://instaud.io/3wo Day/Night Montage- https://instaud.io/3wp The Beach Duel- https://instaud.io/3wq Thanks for listening.
  17. https://soundcloud.com/flowstalgia/mellowmana A down tempo, chilled out track I cooked up not too long ago. Has a minimal beat, very airy, and very relaxing. Any feedback is welcome; positive or negative. I'm willing to respond with honest feedback on any tracks you may have posted that need attention. Just drop a link to your thread in your post here and I'll check it out.
  18. This track is part of a small EP I'll be releasing by the end of the year. It'll be full of minimalist/slow arrangements, with a little romantic and melancholic atmosphere. The EP will be a gift for my girlfriend (we're celebrating our third anniversary this month and she always wanted me to do some music for her). Quality may or may not be OCR level, I don't care, but if it's good enough, I may sub it in the future. Enough talk, now enjoy! Remix: Proof of Love (download for better quality, MediaFire's player isn't good) Source:
  19. https://soundcloud.com/limberturtle/super-smash-bros-all-stars-remix was wondering if I could get some feedback pls. The program froze in the middle of working on it so didn't get to fully finish it. Was wondering if its any good, critique, give feedback, id appreciate it
  20. Hey everyone, I just finished another cover, this time from the wonderfully ambient soundtrack to Ecco: I'd love to hear what you think!
  21. Getting into making music and I thought I'd start with this piece that's inspired by Metroid's atmosphere. Any thoughts? https://soundcloud.com/augmented-vision/the-old-halls
  22. Heeeellloooo everyone! My name is Joshua Carraway (aka JCWithTheRojoT). I'm sure I'm introducing myself in the wrong place, right? xD It's been an aspiration of mine for awhile to have at least one remix featured on OC Remix. Well, here's my attempt. It's already been submitted via e-mail using all the required submission standards. I'd like to hear some feedback. Don't hold back and be as blunt as possible, I can take it! Besides, how else is anyone supposed to learn? Oh yeah, almost forgot! It's a remix of Naofumi Hataya's "Mode Select" from the Sega Saturn version of Sega Rally Championship. More specifically, from the album "Competition / Sega Rally Championship Complete", released in 1996. http://vgmdb.net/album/4847 Here's the remix: https://soundcloud.com/jcwiththerojot/flying-dirt-for-mode-select EDIT - Actually, never mind. I took the track down. A few hours later and I'm not happy with it. xDD
  23. Here's my latest game remix. This time it's "Unbreakable Determination" from Ninja Gaiden (NES) stage 4-2. Please enjoy and/or leave feedback
  24. Sup yall! Got another remix this week, this time from the clasic game Jazz Jackrabbit, the theme from Medivo. Som come check it out yall!!! http://youtu.be/UQyTEaHNqn4
  25. U.N. Squadron is one of my favorite soundtracks, and I was in the mood to remix this classic track with modern instruments. Enjoy! Sequenced, performed and mixed by Karl Brueggemann. Composed by Manami Matsumae
