  1. Here's a Bomberman Hero remix I did some time ago in occasion for a collaborative project that involved me and some other artists around some reinterpretations of the tune "Zip!" off Bomberman Hero. It's my usual style, with a little bit from the original Bomberman NES soundtrack in it to give it a bit of more colour Enjoy and tell me what you think about it THE TUNE
  2. I wanted to try to take advantage of guitar rig 5 so I used it along with slayer. I NEVER really use guitars until recently so I am still very unfamiliar with it. Any opinions and constructive criticism welcome http://soundcloud.com/xsquader/dead-end-grave-xsquader
  3. This track has influences ranging from old video game music to 80s New Wave. Opinions and constructive criticism are both welcome https://soundcloud.com/xsquader/chipdancer
  4. Hello! I just wrapped up a looping boss battle theme that I wanted to share with you guys. Hope you enjoy! Youtube - http://youtu.be/xeWSyGJQ9nI Soundcloud - https://soundcloud.com/garoadmusic/the-darkness-approaches
  5. Hey, guys! I thought I would put this finished cover out there for critique. It is probably one of the best covers I have done so far, and I am always looking to improve. This was more of a straight cover, with a little bit of artistic creativity. If any of you can understand or speak Japanese, your feedback on my singing would be MUCH appreciated. Breakdown on the recording/mixing side of the cover: -Every violin or vocal recording has a reverb preset attached to it to add warmth and increase depth of recording -There are two recordings of each violin take, each panned either left or right to create a fuller sound -VST piano from FL with a reverb preset from FL -string section (during vocal part) was mixed and sent to me by a friend who plays viola -Recorded an analog clock with microphone to produce the ticking noise Like I said, if you have any suggestions for better mixing, recording, anything... just let me know!
  6. Hello everyone! This is my first real post on the forums. I submitted my first song about a month ago, and well...it seems things are kind of backed up! So, I figured I would share my latest video I made right here! A quick bit about me: My name is Ace. I love to make music. I have written lots of original stuff late last year I decided to start posting regular youtube videos. I do electronic originals, cover songs of all kinds, and my personal favorite, my VGMS. This is the latest VGM. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for watching and if you like how I role, a click to that subscribe button would be awful swell.
  7. I recently stumbled upon this site and thought I would share my most recent composition to get some feedback. http://youtu.be/URO_OjTeA28
  8. One of the best gaming memories of my childhood is playing Azure Dreams on GBC. It's a turn-based dungeon crawler with roguelike and monster-raising elements, and it's incredibly addictive. The awesome soundtrack composed by Hiroshi Tamawari has stuck with me for years...it never leaves my head. I noticed that there aren't any Azure Dreams related tracks on the site at all, so I thought I'd post a track I made out of samples from both the Playstation and GBC versions of the game. The source material (youtube videos, sorry): (Playstation) (GBC)My remix: Cinctulan - Azure Dreams
  9. hello i am sharing my new ambient track that was based on the influence of metoes wars music; some of the lovely ambient tracks just inspired me to make this track so here i am sharing it with you please enjoy and feedback is welcomed https://soundcloud.com/blizzardx3/space-oddesy-free-download
  10. Hi, Here's a flying music inspired by Final Fantasy ones : https://soundcloud.com/xouman/an-aerial-exploration Is it fitting for you?
  11. Ancient arrangment. From the DoD from MAGFest 9. Though I consider it finished feedback is always appreciated so I can improve for my next outing!!!! I hope you enjoy ReMix: http://youtu.be/sTPWkV-mewM?t=13s Source 1 Source 2
  12. Another song I composed for the upcoming indie game Cube Knights. First time I actually incorporated brass instrumentation. It's gonna be a song that plays when visiting a very Hyrule/medieval kind of town. I sincerely hope you guys like it! Link
  13. https://soundcloud.com/gwilliamson/punch-out-theme-remix-feat-sir-jordanius-from-project-m Hey guys! This is a remix of the theme of Punch-Out that I did for Project M, a fantastic mod for Super Smash Bros Brawl: projectmgame.com It ends randomly as to smoothly loop for the game. I'm a bit too busy at the moment, but if I get enough requests, I'll fix it up to have a decent ending. It also features Jordan "Sir Jordanius" Etienne doing some seriously sexy horns and guitar, like he did with "The Goddess Gets Groovy Tonight" track we did (which is also super rad).
  14. so this one's actually been finished for a while but I figured I'd like to get some feedback on it. this is an arrangement of about six different Ace Attorney tracks from the first Phoenix Wright game to Apollo Justice (eight tracks if you count redone old themes for Dual Destinies). arrangement is piano, acapella/vocalising, guitar, light percussion Turnabout 'Til We Meet Again I'm looking for feedback re arrangement mostly, I know the quality leaves a bit to be desired (hahaha…) and I'm planning to rerecord the whole thing later on with a decent microphone. influence behind style is "I want to record Beirut covers but I don't have brass instruments so I'm just gonna use my voice for almost everything for the next three years". tracks are Cross Examination ~ Moderate 2001 (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! 2001 (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! 2002 (Justice For All) Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! 2004 (Trials and Tribulations) Courtroom Lobby ~ New Prelude (Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney) Apollo Justice ~ A New Trial Is In Session! (Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney) Phoenix Wright ~ Objection! 2013 (Dual Destinies) Apollo Justice ~ I'm Fine! (Dual Destinies) I did a full acapella arrangement of the Ace Attorney End theme a while back as well.
  15. Hi i just made this song called Neon Blue. This is the first song i make using my new pc and komplete 9, it took me a good while to make it but the learning of komplete 9 is a good experience. Also this is the first time that i send every single instrument to its own mixer channel and i put parametric eq 2 on everything to try and make the song sound better. I hope it worked. Any feedback/criticism is appreciated. Thanks for listening
  16. Hi Guys ! And this is my mix from Movin’ in its last version! I’ve corrected problems of the version before: better sounds for part metal, ending cleaner… For the structure, I started like the original, I developed and the mix finished by the ending of ff7. I think this melody unites good with the MOVIN’s theme. 17. Hey all! Just an short original track I wrote for a friend. Don't really know what he wants it for, but I did my best. I kinda was going for a despiration feel. Tell me what you think, and if I could do anything better! https://soundcloud.com/touchsoundmusic-1/event-horizonnever-go-back
  18. I was inspired a few weeks ago to compose some music after watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. After finishing the tune, I decided it would be cool to enlist the help of Timaeus, who added some additional sound effects as well as mixed and mastered the thing. Personally, I think it turned out great. https://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/lost-in-the-woods
  19. Hi, Like the title said,i made a variant of click clock wood lobby tracks : https://soundcloud.com/xouman/click-clock-wood-lobby-night What do you think?
  20. Herro everyone, I'm a long time lurker and thought I'd buck up and share a remix I did a couple years ago of Schala's theme from Final Fantasy 6. Hopefully it doesn't hurt your ears too much Edit: realized I put FF6 instead of Chrono Trigger in the title, please excuse me, long day at work XD
  21. The Infin8 Option (SOUNDCLOUD) Been a while huh OCR? : ) something simple but I hope it's enjoyable.

  23. Hello everyone, Back with another Sonic remix, doesn't deviate too far from the original piece but I think it adds enough to be notable. Had a lot of back and forth with the sound design but I think I've hit a good spot with it. The mix is pretty much done, just needs a bit of cleaning up I think. EDIT: Went ahead and did some mastering, actually pretty happy with it now but if anyone spots anything majorly wrong with it let me know. Any suggestions are welcome and encouraged, thanks for listening.
  24. Hello! It's my first time posting here, though I've been a fan of OCRemix for a long while and making music and VGM remixes for a couple years now. There's a bit of backstory to this mix, so hang in there... I still remember the night I got to play Majora's Mask. It was late and my parents had failed to clear the first three days several times in a row. After waking up to the sounds in the living room, I went and cleared it for them. It's been over a decade though, and my memory seems to have slighted me...I remember a cutscene that seems to have not existed. And earlier this year, I decided to honor this illusory cutscene by making a remix for it. I remember, after learning the Song of Healing, the Happy Mask Salesman playing the full tune with some minor rearrangement for nearly 2 minutes, embellishing slightly as he went along...it seemed to me that he had his own story that only the Song could really tell.
