I've done picked up some new influences and inspiration so I decided to work on this when I had the idea in my head. The name? Well for one I named it after one of my friend's alias, but I also believe that it accurately describes the song: It's energetic, but at the same time it's got a nice, sweet flow, like juice lol =D. Anyways have a listen and tell me what you guys think so far. Juuuiiiccee!!

Link Updated 10-28-2010 I think I was born to do this stuff, heh There's mostly original sounds in here. The arp bass, original. The arp that comes in, original, the strings are my favorite Sytrus preset "Platinum Saw". Sweepers, original...sound at the beginning, original. I'm going to make other sounds as I need 'em. http://www.tindeck.com/listen/vuoz

I made a video game type song, with a rock sound. I would really appreciate any feedback you guys have since this song is not done. This song definitely needs....something. I know in the middle part I am going to put a solo, but have no got around to it. Help me out! p.s. Does anyone know how I can get the actual hardware sounds of the genesis/nes/super nes. What do I do? I have no clue how I would do that, because plugins are never %100 accurate. http://soundcloud.com/chunkybeef31/vg-6

I am working on composing this intro for my friends video game that he is making. I am using all midi instruments, and in the process of really homing in on note choice right now between the different instruments. What do you guys think should be different? Anything you like about it? or anything other feedback would help this process a lot. Thanks! http://soundcloud.com/chunkybeef31/intro-for-video-game

Hi, Quite tired of working on Final Fantasy since my last arrangement, I was doing so impro on Robotnik's theme on the piano, with mic open. This is an early and quite bad record, but still I need advices : Do you think I could do something with it, should I work a Robotnik piano arrangement that way ? Thanx a lot in advance : Early WiP : http://temp.khemael.net/eggmanimpr.mp3 Edit 1 : Just like I did with "FFVI World of Decision" WiP, I'll post the work as it is being improved every time for new feedback. *"official-I-do-Think-It's-final" Intro + first part : http://temp.khemael.net/khemael-eggman_tears-Intro_and_first_part.mp3

So this is a silly/fun track I'm working on and the last track I'll be making for a while. I'm taking a long break to learn the science behind music and also keep ahead on my video skills. If you have any UNTZvice (worst pun of mankind ever), lemme know. I know it's muddy but so is your face. http://soundcloud.com/modusmusic/work-in-progress-untz-in-my-atari Kisses and hugs, Modus

I've got a new arrangement done (probably 95% finished) for my brass quintet. I decided to start up an old project of mine that had been stewing for a while, and I'm really, really glad I did. Thus far I've found that the Legend of Mana soundtrack adapts well to live brass, so I have high hopes for this arrangement. Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn0CZfeJ3Hc I haven't quite decided if this should be a standalone arrangement or if it should be part of a medley. If I were to work in other songs, I'd probably try and see if I could adapt Southern City Polpota, City of Flickering Destruction/Those Who are Shining, and maybe even Irwin on Reflection. The quintet is rehearsing tonight and hopefully our sight-reading of it will be good enough that I'll feel comfortable posting it. Anyway, link to the midi-rendition: New version, from 11-17-10 rehearsal. Sight-reading is fun!

wip Mirror's Edge - Still Alive Trance Remix
FactorySettings posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
I've been working on this remix for a while, what do you guys think? -
Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and new to the whole remixing. I've been slowly trying to learn how to make songs with computer and this WIP song is one of the songs I've put together during the process. Since I'm new to this whole composing business, I'd like to get some hardcore feedback on what to improve. Positive feedback is also welcome if deserved. It's the Hymn of the Fayth from Final Fantasy X. I got inspired by the melody and thought I'd make my own version of it, adding more instruments to it and stuff. You can listen the song here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5912277/raakile.mp3 Thank you in advance for your feedback! -Daniel PS. Link to the original song:

wip Ambient music inspired by the areas in FFXIV
Feinoko posted a topic in Post Your Original Music!
Hi guys! New here, amazed by the quality of OCremixers out there! Some people are so talented... Anyways! I wanted to share a project I have been working on for a month or so, which consists in writing alternate melodies and ambient phrases to accompany the mmo FFXIV, whose beautiful areas provided me with some inspiration (hopefully). I'd like to share it as I'm relatively new at composing and am therefore craving for some mentorship, technically just as much as artiscally speaking! Just one word about those, they are pretty spread out in rhythym, insofar as taking into account the scope of a MMO, it had to be somewhat slow-paced so not to get too tiresome over time. Which is why it may feel a little empty sometimes. Some of the feedback I got from some people is it's nicely suited as background while doing homework or such Cheers and thanks for listening:)! Feedback much much appreciated! wip FFVI: Savage Nightmare (Another World of Beasts)
ectogemia posted a topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
Here's my first attempt at a solo mix. The concept: Guy goes to sleep in haunted house. Guy starts having a creepy dream. Dream becomes nightmare. Nightmare fills with all his greatest fears. Oh, and monsters. Guy can't wake up. Guy is trapped in nightmare. Eternal terror and torment forever. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the motifs are in place, and since I'm so new to all of this, I don't want to finish it and have it unsalvageable due to crappy mixing, mastering, or arrangement. So I've uploaded it in a fairly raw form with the hope that any of you more experienced people can hear things I'm totally overlooking before I get too far in. I know the samples are bad, but I'm working with free samples exclusively at the moment. There's a couple of peaks in there, too, that I haven't been able to work out yet. Also, the source and mix are both in 7/8, so yes, it sounds weird/awesome. Thanks!! Mix -
Ok, after scrapping my Floating on Stars, I decided I'd do one of my other favorite themes, Lower Maridia. This is just the first try at a good one. Feedback please? Hello, I'm quite new to making music using Reason, but (or rather because of that) I wanted to see what you think of THIS; I'm happy about every feedback I can get [ ! newer version below ! ]

So I came up with this in two days. While I was messing around with some drum loops, I've decided to take a shot at bhangra, a genre I never attempted before. Thought I'd try something I'm not used to. It sounds like it would fit the source well. Nearly all the instruments apart from the drums are synth sounds. Suggestions for new instruments? Sound processing? General improvements? Version 2

I know there area lot of Windmill Hut/Song of Storms remixes, but none of them seem to be getting posted which is a shame. So, I thought I'd take a stab at it. Here's my electronica/trance/techno version (I'm no good with genre labeling). It's short, but I may extend it a bit. Click here to listen to storm_doors_-_windmill_hut_remix_-_WIP_v2.mp3

I have been busy with school and all that for some time now & this is my first "complete" wip in quite a while. I still do looping music mostly (vg purposes, and cause I like it), this is one of them. I'm looking for some feedback on this song, but most of all, enjoy Please tell me what you imagine/feel when listening this song, I'm very interested to hear about it!

Intro has no source i know, gonna lead in to source after a bit. you'll know when you hear it just a little toward the end. doesn't have an end right now just trails off cause i've been working on it all day and am a little stumped.. maybe i've just lost my inspiration and need to come back later.. anyway, have a listen and tell me what you think.. oh yeah, and i havent done any mastering or anything yet, just raw material. http://tindeck.com/listen/gmkn :]
