  1. This is an arrangement of "The Day After" i did for the Final Fantasy VI Tribute Album "World's Requiem" by the Pixel Mixers community! For this album we (71 musicians) covered the complete soundtrack from the original soundtrack composed by Nobuo Uematsu. For this track i had the chance to have the help of the fabulous Mark Autumn and his perfect acoustic guitar playing and tone! => Mark Autumn's Channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/ShiningM... For the arrangement i started with having a Fusion-ish arrangement in mind (was listening to a lot of Snarky Puppy) but it ended up
  2. A metal remix of Death Adder from Golden Axe on the Sega Megadrive. One of my favourites from this soundtrack, couldn't resist going epic dark metal on it. Original track is below the remix, enjoy! (hopefully...) I am also looking for remix collabs and other music projects, if anyone is like-minded please message me. Original Track
  3. What's up guys, I'm here again to post my latest rework (this time without making 1000 edits to the OP) It's a track from the Unreal Tournament 99 soundtrack, reworked in a freeform/drum&Bass/IDM style and sped up a bit (155 BPM instead of the original 116) So long story short, here's my remix, hope you'll enjoy it! (and here's the original for comparison)
  4. Whats up guys! Check out the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Main Theme with rap vocals! The remix was created by me. Enjoy and prepare to smash! Not sure if I would be able to submit this?? RAP VOCAL REMIX INSTRUMENTAL
  5. I made my first doujin album with songs from Nintendo World Cup in Eurobeat style. The album has some collaborations with other artists as well. It is available for free on Bandcamp: https://mcbazooka.bandcamp.com/album/world-cup-eurobeat-arrange
  6. Hey everyone ! Here's my synthwave cover of The Great Warrior from Final Fantasy VII. Enjoy
  7. Just a simple piano arrangement of Dart's Theme. The title is clearly a bad pun based on the name of one of his Additions(Madness Hero). Yes, I feel bad. No, I don't regret it. Enjoy. Feedback is appreciated, as I think I may submit this at some point. Original:
  8. From what I can tell, the original doesn't just use notes from a normal diatonic scale, but I can find it hard figuring out some songs so I could be wrong. Will extend it later. Remix: https://sites.google.com/site/vspaine/wips/Unholy Thunder M.mp3?attredirects=0&d=1 Originals:
  9. Finished up a 2nd video using footage from our recording session from late April. This time we play Shoji Meguro's "Beneath the Mask" from Persona 5, which is both a favorite of ours to play as well as a crowd favorite from our shows. Over the last year I've digested more of Meguro's catalog than any other video game composer--I'm excited to have completed this particular work and released it for your enjoyment. Also, similar to my "Corridors of Time" arrangement, I snuck in a quote from another one of this game's tracks, as well--let me know if you catch it!
  10. Hello to all the amazing Ocremix comunity, My name is Carlo Francesco Lopez and i wanna share with you my latest recording. Its a medley of Double Dragon 3 for the NES. Cheers!! lml
  11. My remix and remake of 'Welcome to Wonderland', from Kingdom Hearts. I used some parts of the piano piece as a baseline, and added from there. Also added in just a little bit of the Traverse Town theme; I thought it mixed in well. -Juke
  12. Hello guys , i have made a HD remake of the classic song Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country , hope you like! -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h7wjUNg_rs
  13. Hey, everyone! Late last year I posted some live clips from my VGM/jazz group, The Hard Modes. Since then I've written a bunch of new arrangements for the group that we've been playing locally, and about a month ago we recorded some of our repertoire. I wanted to share the first of the bunch with you--the beloved "Corridors of Time" from Chrono Trigger, written by Yasunori Mitsuda: I never really intended to arrange this tune, especially because it seems like a lot of people cover it (and cover it well!). But, I kept hearing it while I was at MAGFest this year and was infected b
  14. Hey guys! I've been a long-time lurker of this community and I've recently made the decision to release my pent-up musical ideas. Though this track is already completed in my eyes, I am always looking for new ideas and suggestions for future arrangements/compositions. Looking for feedback in all shapes and forms. I'm not sure if I should try submitting this track to OCR, to be honest, but I at least want to see if it's up to snuff amongst my fellow music nerds. Cheers!
  15. Hey folks, here's a cover I recently did of Bravely Default's "Land of Immortality." Would love to get feedback from the community on what ya'll think. Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9LxIwIRgFk

  17. finally a 2nd remix of knosses here my first remix..
  18. I decided to try a cover of this track to experiment transcribing and arranging source material slightly apart from what I'm usually comfortable with - this is mainly drawn from Masafumi Takada's Tokio Morishima theme from The Silver Case, with a passage from Erika Ito's DRIFT - Tokio's theme from the sequel, The 25th Ward. Any criticism would be incredibly helpful, but I'm particularly looking for feedback on especially problematic mixing and mastering issues - while I'm likely not returning to this particular piece, it'd be very useful to be more aware of the traps I'm falling into
  19. Hey guys, his is my cover of "Bonds of Sea and Fire" from Xenogears, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. This is also my entry to the #SoundoleChillOut2018 contest! I originally wanted to do something more "chill" but during the arrangement i felt the need to fill a bit the drums and to add a bit of EDM arpeggios or distorted lead guitar. So it's maybe not the most relaxing thing, but i tried to use a bunch of reverb to keep that "chill" vibe. So we are curently working on a XenoGears album with the Pixel Mixers, i'm working on 2 other Xeno songs for the album, but i wanted to use Soun
  20. Sup OCR? it's been a while eh? Got a new Rockman/Megaman EXE remix up and thought I'd share it. Hope y'enjoy! LIGHTING UP THE DARK - MMBN3 R-MIX
  21. Hello there! It's been a while (almost 2 years) since I've touched anything from Unreal or Unreal Tournament, so I thought t was about time to remix something quite underrated from my favourite videogame soundtrack ever, enjoy!
