  1. Trials of Mana, also known as Seiken Densetsu 3, is the 1995 successor to the famous SNES "Secret of Mana" JRPG and, back then, was published only in Japan. About two years ago, in April 2020, fans were gifted with a full state-of-the-art remake after a quarter of a century, during which fan-translated ROM versions toured all around the planet. Being one of these fans, I recently finished multiple runs of that game and found the opening scene — and, most notably, the orchestrated soundtrack — to be one of the major highlights of the remake. Needless to say that this called for an "organic" extension. For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room: URL: http://via.woody-mc.de/to/AhilFIYNgjiwMgZq Player: Current versions of Media Player Classic are able to properly play multi-channel FLAC files. Production side note: The audio you can hear in the ContreBombarde upload at https://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/52536 consists of four individual 7.1 live recordings. I recorded these inone go while playing to the looped OST; later I cut the whole recording into pieces of the respective OST length and synced them up to the OST recording. All volume/intensity/registration changes are solely originating from the organ; absolutely no subsequent volume changes/fades have been applied in the audio workstation during post-processing. Also, all registrations were made manually using the stepper, where it was a challenge especially for the final chord to keep a precise timing. I know comments are extremely rare on my pieces, however I'd be eager to know whether one can distinguish the separate recordings in the final VIDEO cut, as it would give me a hint on my next project(s) in terms of fine-tuning multiple recording layers. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi, I'm new here. I recently decided to try remaking "Zip" from Bomberman Hero. This was done by ear, but I tried to stay mostly true to the original. I'm looking for constructive feedback. My remake: Original:
  3. Hey all, I made a simple remake of one of my favorite tracks from Skyward Sword. I added Zelda's lullaby to the tune since it fit so well in my opinion. Hope you enjoy it! -Juke

  5. All, I've recently made a remake of Ocarina of Time's 'Lon Lon Ranch', trying to recreate it with same style as the Symphonic Version made from Nintendo and the Reorchestrated version from ZREO. Here's the 'no vocals' version if anyone out there wanted to hum/sing along. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pSrI3_gWl80Au0F_OgCK3MA57wULWY6v If anyone out there is interested in actually recording yourself, please feel free and let me know if you want me to make some changes (quieter parts, different instrumentation, etc). I've already uploaded my version, so this is really just to see if someone out there wants to use my backgrounds and sing their own version. Here's mine with [fake] vocals, for comparison: I've taken out the unique ZREO section (around 1:38 onward) for the no vocals version, but can easily add it back if desired. It's currently un-mastered, but I figured I might as well share here first and see if anyone in interested before mastering it with the fake voice. Thanks, -Juke
  6. Hey there! A few months ago, I was working on this Lemmings arrangement, one of the original tracks of the game by Tim Wright. I had to stop it, and after recovering it, I then decided I'd go a bit crazy with the looping in the last part of the track, and after trying, I think it really adds to conceiving the ultimate Lemmings experience lol, as in some points, you got them all doing a million useless things just to make them all explode in the end... and it is Oh no! but it's actually a really spectacular effect, visually speaking lol. This is my arrangement: Hope you bounce to it and that it makes you smile Original (SNES version) :
  7. Yesterday, August 25th, was the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite games, Goldeneye. I got it for Christmas as a kid, and It was the first game I ever owned. I must have played that game for hundreds of hours, both single and multiplayer, loving every minute of it. Of course it helps that I was a huge James Bond fan, but even to this day it's one of the games from my childhood that I have the most fond memories of. What stuck with me the most though, as the years passed by was the music. So to celebrate the games 20th anniversary I decided to "Remaster" the entire soundtrack. I used something called N64midi tool to extract the original game midi and imported it into FL studio, that way I could perfectly match the rhythm and individual note length of each track, instead of just playing it by ear, which I'm not very good at. It took me about three months to get this project finished in my spare time, most of the time spent mixing and carefully picking the right instruments to strike a balance between mirroring the original sound and making it sound like the tracks were recorded with real instruments. I even got so inspired that I wrote a new original track in the style of the games soundtrack. I've uploaded the whole project onto my newly started YouTube channel, along with links to mp3 files in the description of every track. I really hope you guys enjoy my work as I have enjoyed listening to the various works posted to this site over the years.
  8. Here's an HD remake of "Hazy Maze Cave". People seem to like it. It's not a "remix", but it could be used in one if you guys want it.
  9. Hi people! I've just finished a track inspired on Undertale and Grillby's bar in particular. It's a swing/jazz track with throwbacks to the more synthetic, classic game-like sounds. I'd be very interested to hear what you've got to say; I'm always looking to learn and improve, so please, fire away! Thanks, -The Lost OST
  10. Hi people! I've crafted a synthrock tune heavily inspired on the Megaman X-ost, and I'd love to hear whether or not you'd say that it has (more or less) captured the original feeling, and of course what your thoughts are on the arrangement, composition, mixing, maybe even the accompanying video and its pacing etc. Honestly love to get some feedback (and provide you with it if you'd like)! Thanks, The Lost OST
