  1. Hi dear Ocremix Community, Here is my latest recording, is a cover of the opening of the japanesse version of the videogame Mega Man X3 on the Playstation 1 console. I hope you like and could send me a review of this version. Here is the Youtube link: Kotono Shibuya - One more Time (Mega Man X3 Cover) Regards!! lml
  2. Hello! Here's my remix of MegaMan Zero 2's "Departure". Although I've been a HUGE Mega Man X/Zero/ZX fan, I never created a remix of one of a tracks of any of the series (I only did "inspired by" tracks so far) and I'm glad I finally had the inspiration to create a remix. Like my Turrican remixes, I tried to orientate the remix very close on the orignal while trying to uplift it with "modern capabilities", it's not as good as the official remix but I'm very happy with the outcome. Anyway, here's the track and I hope you like it!
  3. Hello Djpretzel and all remixers, Please forgive me if this is not posted in the correct forum. Firstly, thank you for all you have done for the human race by bringing OCREMIX to our lives. Secondly, in the early 2000s, when there was no OCREMIX, there were some remixes that were available online. I have 3 such remixes that are attributed to "Brendan#1" at http://mp3.com/BrendanNumberOn I think it is made by the drummer of Fugazi, Brendan Canty as the group has a song called "Brendan #1." Also, listening to some of there work, it seems like the styles may be similar, but I am not a musician and only one who can appreciate music rather than you and the community of remixers who analyze and create music. Would it be possible to somehow post these remixes to OCREMIX? I think fellow Megaman / Rockman 3 fans would enjoy these remixes. Also, would any of you be able find any means of verifying the true author and giving them credit where it is due? I have mp3 files of these songs, but I made video files to upload to youtube and send to you. Spark Man: https://youtu.be/8TbPXE4RJMU Top Man: https://youtu.be/K0vdqufB32g Snake Man: https://youtu.be/dt5J4XbhSvE Again, humble thanks to all of you from a long time fan. Sincerely, Kagekirazuul
  4. Thought I'd put together another original Mega Man song for once in a long time, hope you all like it! Please like, follow and all that fun stuff and I'll love you forever Also you can find my Bandcamp here with more music goodies: https://blaz1222.bandcamp.com/
  5. Hey there Beauty-butts! Any kind of feedback about the track will be appreciated. UPDATE #01: New mix: https://soundcloud.com/atp19xx/watch-your-step-wip UPDATE #02: Another mix! This time, a little bit more color and other stuff in this track. I left the earlier mix there as well for comparison. There's quite a bit of new flavor added, eq'ing and a bit of limiting and I think next phase would be finishing up the track and fine tune some patterns before final touches. At this point I think it would be cool to have those decent monitors to find all the quirks, pops and zaps. Those that I don't have. So, a humble request (and be sure to hammer it down, I'm not soft skinned): ANY. Kind of feedback is more than appreciated. If you have equipment to point out some details, do that. If you have anything to say about this track, do that. "This track is bs!" is not very contributing feedback, though, even if it is feedback of some sort. *grin* UPDATE #03: IT'S FINISHED! Here is the final production of his track. Quality is "only" a mere 192kbps, but I might or might not add a download link for studio quality PCM WAV later. In the mix I decided to eq as much as possible so all I had to do in mastering was basically balancing lows, mids and highs. My oh-so-professional ear might have been playing tricks on me during the production, so it might not be the perfect. To be honest, I might have been using more time in eq and compressor windows than in the mix. Also, this is my first *finished* track in very long time. All I have here in Soundcloud, are only mix-state productions, but I wanted to bring at least one finished track here as well. As a source, I used both original NES track and also Wily Wars version (links below). My arrangement sounds more like original, apart from few different renditions of notation. I mixed both original and modified notation in the end, but first half is dominated by those little changes. 6. OMG IT'S MEGA MAN!!!! I was making a final project for my Graphic Design class; so of course, I looked for my old Surface Pro 3 doodle of "Mega Man" I did at the Atlanta Mall. After redrawing the images and getting the base colors onto it, I started shading the image and applying some shines onto his armor and gave a bit of a mix-color onto the rifling of his Mega Buster, as well as the inside of his ear-hole-things. I added a slight lighting texture afterwards, and used an old gear texture I had made a few months back. I put a translucent blue gradient in front of it, and concluded with my signature and the "Mega Man" logo. So guys, how did I do, for a 17-year old with a Windows XP tablet? Thanks for reading... ~W.
