A Rock-ReMake project that spans through Final Fantasy I to X. The project contains 18 tracks. Just go here: http://www.thedualdragons.com/ Head for the Download section and start downloading! Hope you all enjoy it. Dan & Frank Johansen
Pander
The mix of synths and bandrock reminds me strongly of Black Mages, in a good way. This is some very good stuff! Great twisting of themes, fitting in the Fiends theme, on the FFIV song.
Thin Crust
I've listened to prelude and your not alone and I'd say that I'm very impressed. This will be going right on my zen as soon as I get home.
XZero
Excellent job! I'd say that your music is as good as (and in some cases better than) the Black Mages. Magnificent work. I look forward to future releases from you guys!
MichaelTheCrow
All I can say is WOW! Downloading all songs now, just started listening to FFI - Chaos Temple, blew me away, excellent =D! I cannot wait to hear more, to be honest this is what I've been searching for lately, you've hit the spot, mmm yes pure genius all I can say. Skummel Maske
I'm listening through this now. Really amazing work, both when it comes to arrangement and production. And finally a guitar-driven take on The Dark Messenger from FFIX!
SplinterOfChaos
I've heard countless FF remixes, the Black Mages, Final Fantasy Death Sentence (FF death metal), and even an album of FFVII x NIN mashups, but still, I'm very impressed by this collection. Great friken job! You don't remind me much of Black Mages, but more Power Glove. Just an incredibly solid performance.
Kaden
it sounds alright, i dont think its quite up to the black mages, but I do think it is decent, like Power Glove
Nearly
Wowowowowowowowowowowowoooow. I was sceptical at first that this was just going to be some cheesy take on old FF themes, but within the first 10 seconds of listening I knew I was gonna have the lot. Amazing work. Thin Crust
Awesome man! I've been waiting for this song to get done for years. Ever since I first played it back in the 90's.
Thin Crust
Have you ever thought about submitting to ocr? If you submit under a different name, forgive my stupidity.
The Dual Dragons
Well, we like to have our ReMakes released at once. You could say we don't have patience to wait for ocremix. And besides, it's more personal to give it out on a own website.
RedFusion
!!!!! You contributed to Chrono Symphonic way back then!!! Wow! Nice to see you continue to release something as great as this. I liked your contribution (to Chrono Symphonic) enough to research more of your music (seeing as you didn't have much on OCR) and there was some nice stuff there. I'll look forward to this. FireSlash
Fantastic work. Been rocking these at work and in the car for the last couple of days; still loving 'em
Ghetto Lee Lewis
I didn't much care for the Prelude (I've heard tons of other versions though). I think the drums seemed out of place with the other instruments. I loved The Red Wings remix. For some reason I envision a huge baritone voice singing along with the music (Rammstein anyone?). Or maybe that's just me with most good rock music I hear. I love that you threw in the music from the boss battle. FF4 was definitely my favorite game in the series. This music really brings me back. anosou
Just popping in to mention that your arrangements are pretty damn awesome. The Lost Odyssey one especially (yeah, I know, not FF) but I might be biased since I love and remixed the same source. You two should definitely considering submitting some of your work if you haven't already but be sure to read the submission instructions so you can avoid missunderstandings about what we accept. http://www.ocremix.org/info/Submission_Standards_and_Instructions I don't see any issues with that though keep up the good work! Been rocking these at work and in the car for the last couple of days; still loving 'em Don't irritate the police! lol Glad you dig them, we're working on 'The Final Battle (Zeromus)' from FF IV at the moment, be sure to stop by again soon! anosou
You actually encouraged us to do so... Just submitted a couple of tracks to OCR. Glad you like the tracks, have a link to your Lost Odyssey ReMake? I'd like to check it out. It's not completed just yet but when it is I'll hook you up One thing though... you didn't read the link I said you should read, huh? Submitting multiple tracks at once is not allowed because it would REALLY overflow the site. One every three weeks. PM Liontamer if you submitted more and tell him which one you pick as the one we'll check out.
The Dual Dragons
I thought it wasn't allowed to submit several ReMakes in one mail. Misunderstood that one sorry. It's fixed.
