Vilecat
Finally remembered about this thread and found the time to dig through my silly folder of original game songs. Ristar(Genesis) had upbeat head-bopping music. The only remixes we had of that game have been removed because they were basically the original songs with instruments slapped over. They weren't bad but that's not what OCR accepts. I think someone mentionned it already, but Sparkster/Rocket Knight Adventure(SNES and Genesis) are games that had fun music too. Alisia Dragoon(Genesis) an action/platformer. Assault Suit Valken(SNES) also known under the name Cybernator. Axelay(SNES) Bahamut Lagoon(SNES) Battle Clash(SNES) Not sure if Scarab could be arranged but that's one kickass song Battle Mania Daiginjou(Genesis) Bounty Sword(SNES) Brainlord(SNES) Brandish and Brandish 2(both SNES) Columns III(Genesis) Dark Half(SNES) Der Langrisser(SNES) and its second serie Growlanser(II and III on PS1 or 2) Dragon Slayer: Eiyuu Densetsu(Genesis) Elfaria(SNES) Emerald Dragon(SNES) Some songs remind me of CT and ToP like the Caverns and Forests song. Energy Breaker(SNES) gives me similar feelings, maybe more like Secret of Mana than ToP and CT though. It has many tracks to choose from too. Far East of Eden Zero(SNES) Faxanadu(NES) Final Mission(NES) Front Mission 3(PS1) Granhistoria(SNES) Mainly the Town and Field songs. Hajimori no Mori - Forest of Beginning(SNES) The main theme comes back very often in many variations, so some songs can be eliminated. Very anime-ish sometimes. Hebereke(NES) And that's about it for the first 1/3 of my folder. I'll continue later.

Vilecat
PART 2! Finally. Took a few days on and off, not counting the times it took me to re-type everything. For some reason the site decided to lose my post when I asked for a final preview X( Oh well... Ecco - The Tides of Time(Genesis) I completely forgot to add it last time. It's totally worth a listen The Adventure of Hourai High School(SNES) or it's original title Hourai Gakuen no Bouken! - Tenkousei Scramble Illusion of Gaia(SNES) Needs more love Ironsword - Wizards & Warriors 2(NES) Also needs more love Journey to Silius(NES) MOAR I SED! Jurrasic Park 2 - The Chaos Continues(SNES) Clearly overlooked game and soundtrack Kabuki Rocks(SNES) Kishin Douji Zenki(SNES) Knights of the Round(SNES) Skip most of the boss songs, they're stupidly short anyway Kouryu no Mimi(SNES) Kouryudensetstu Villgust(SNES) or simply Villgust Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei(SNES) at least for Daedalos Lagoon(SNES) Last Fighter Twin(SNES) Light Fantasy(SNES) Live-A-Live(SNES) This game still needs more love Majin Tensei(SNES) The Wrath of God (followed by Devil Dance) sounds like a 16-bit version of a NIN song Marchen Adventure Cotton 100%(SNES) Marvelous(SNES) Super Robot Taisen Gaiden: Masoukishin - Lord of Elemental(SNES) Monstania(SNES) Moryo Senki Madara 2(SNES) Plok!(SNES) Pocky & Rocky(SNES) Pocky & Rocky 2(SNES)
EC2151
A game in which no one played, but has some of the best music around is called Knights in the Nightmare, by developer STiNG. It's also hands-down one of the best games on the DS I have played, period. It has a lot of great tracks... Well, in fact, the entire soundtrack (which comes with the game, cool!) is one great track after another. The boss fights are pretty phenomenal. If I had to pick three to choose from, they'd be: But there are SO many more tracks that are good in that game... Live for Revenge, Lord of Oblivion, any of the Angel songs, The Faithful One... Really, it's like the game had one stellar track after another... AND NO ONE PLAYED THE DARN GAME!

The Coop
For some of you posting links to YouTube, add this to the end of your URL link... &fmt=18 This allows HD mode, and you'll stand a good chance of the song sounding much better (if the uploader submitted the song at a better quality than YouTube's default settings). If you want proof...
Vilecat
Part 3! weeeee (yes I really keep that much unknown/underrated music soundtracks) Popful Mail(SNES) Falcom game, known for their Y's serie Popotto Hebereke(SNES) Very upbeat Power of the Hired(SNES) Prince of Persia(SNES) Princess Minerva(SNES) Puyo Puyo and Puyo Puyo Tsuu(both Genesis) Dr.Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine was actually some sort of Puyo Puyo with Sonic characters. Sticker from Puyo Puyo is also the practice theme of Dr.R MBM. Raiden Densetsu(SNES) Some of these songs sound very familiar (like Gallantry and Rough And Tumble) Rejoice - Aretha Oukoku no Kanata(SNES) The Revenge of Shinobi(Genesis) starting to Like a Wind = <3 Romance of the Three Kingdoms 1 to 4(SNES) Romancing SaGa 1,2 and 3(SNES) Rudra no Hihou(SNES) Some Japan-only Square game Rush 'n Attack(NES) Rushing Beat Syura(SNES) Also known as Peace Keepers Art of Fighting 1 and 2(SNES) Did I mention Secret of Evermore(SNES) before? If yes, I'm doing it again. Secret of the Stars(SNES) Section Z(NES) Seijuu Maden(SNES) also known as Beasts & Blades Shin Megami Tensei 1 to 3(SNES) Shining Force 2(Genesis)
The Coop
Raiden Densetsu(SNES) Some of these songs sound very familiar (like Gallantry and Rough And Tumble)Shining Force 2(SNES) Shining Force II is Genesis, not SNES. And Galantry's been a staple of the Raiden franchise since the first game. You may have heard a version of it from one of them.

Tex
Yep. Shining Force II is a Sega Genesis game. The Revenge of Shinobi(Genesis) starting to Like a Wind = <3 https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1409948/mp3/BrainCells%2C_SnappleMan_-_Like_a_Tornado%28Revenge_of_Shinobi%29.mp3

So, now, I've looked through every post and taken just about every name of a game you guys said. Now I'm going to try and make a small program to automaticly make videos with screenshots and audio, then put them on youtube. It's going to be a while. Thanks!
