EC2151
Hey man, do what ya want, eh? I just like Ricky more is all. I can't remember how to get the different flutes in any event... I think you buy Ricky's, you win Moosh's at the Subrosian dance, and Dmi's I can't remember.
Mirby
In Seasons, Ricky gives you his provided you haven't bought the one from the Horon Village store (which become's Moosh's Flute) or won the one from the Subrosian Dancing Game (which becomes Dimitri's Flute). Not sure about Ages. But I think it would be the same, except it would be the Lynna City store and the Goron Dancing game.
Lemonectric
Ricky is default in Seasons. Moosh is default in Ages. Dimitri is the coolest. End of discussion. (this is a recruiting topic )
Chris ~ Amaterasu
'It would be helpful if you could provide samples of yourself playing, so we could get a sense of your ability and recording quality.' Chucked together a few things for you, recorded for about 5 mins, if you want something where I put more time into it let me know. Ignore wrong notes/tempo/other sounds =) First one is to show string crossing technique as just about any string player would recognise Second one was <3 Zelda, repeated twice with 2 different reverbs, but I'm not too sure how to use compressors/ EQ and stuff properly yet http://tindeck.com/listen/bxin P.S: If anyone knows how to help me record better in terms of mic position, or how to make it sound better using all that weird effect processing let me know =D *Goes back to study*
Mirby
btw, Subrosia belongs to Winding the Frog. Please don't touch.

Like you said earlier, it may not be appropriate for the mega Din's Dance instrument collab, but you're still on the list for people who might want some violin. I know I'd want it if I had a track that could use it.

Lemonectric
Haha. That's right, people, we have a title now. It was JH Sounds's idea, and it got the most votes. Good stuff. Also, like the thread title says, we still have some openings. I've been trying unsuccessfully to recruit people. I want auditions and/or ssssooooouuuuls particularly fresh ones that are not already in the process of being drained by 50 other project directors Edited October 27, 2010 by Hylian Lemon
PROTO·DOME
lol, awesome title It could've been so much more.
Lemonectric
Proto's just bitter about his name not being included in the title. You did get two votes, Proto. Someday the world will be ready for you.
Brandon Strader
I have to agree, that title is incredibly self-gratifying. +1 vote for Zelda album: The ProtoDome Tapes
PROTO·DOME
The ProtoDome Tapes That sounds like either a low-budget horror, or some explicit drama series.
Brandon Strader
Or we could simply call it "ProtoDome" Like this.
GTAHater836
There are still SIX tracks open! Did any of you try pitching an ad throughout OverClocked asking for help? Isn't there anyone else who played Oracle of Seasons and would be interested in doing a remix for one of those tracks? And HylianLemon, who would you like to see make a claim? Mirby
I would still like to collab on my Subrosia remix!
PROTO·DOME
Or we could simply call it "ProtoDome" Like this. With a bit of Photoshopping I think we have our alternate cover-art. ...Why have I never even heard of this film?
wildfire
I would still like to collab on my Subrosia remix! I'd be up for a collab. Although, having never done one before, idk what I'd be getting myself into. What DAW do you use? I use FL Studio.
Mirby
Hey, me too! Should I just send you the flp?
ncocs
I have a big, big question. Is this going to be hosted by OCR? Do you know?
Lemonectric
Nope, I don't; I have yet to hear back about it. Going the independent route again is probably the most likely scenario. Still, people wanted to make it an official project, and djp seems to advise it, so I'm not ruling that out. I'm just waiting. Liontamer
Coolio. Yeah, let's go for it. Sorry I missed Ben's PM on doing something official for Essence of Lime. He wrote me a PM last December basically asking if it's be cool to do it, but then basically backed out of it in the same paragraph in a self-deprecating way saying he wasn't sure it was good enough compared to the standards here, because he was involved in some many of the tracks. He never followed up and I was in the middle of busy season (end of the year is the busiest time of year at all non-profits), so I never had a chance to talk him out of being a self-deprecating doofus. Let's not make that mistake twice!

Lemonectric
I never had a chance to talk him out of being a self-deprecating doofus. You sound like Dj Mokram. Self-deprecation is good for the soul. Also, I left a long-ass message in your inbox.
