DarkeSword
Super Mario Bros. 3 - Bloopers in the Deep [3.19MB] This is a remix of the underwater theme from Super Mario Bros. 3. Enjoy.
Emunator
This sounds exactly like what I'd expect to hear out of a Paper Mario soundtrack. Nice work, very quirky arrangement.
Nabeel Ansari
I agree on the Paper Mario thing. It also sounds a bit like the toy galaxy in mario galaxy 1 and the Toad Brigade theme. xD
BorgMan
Definetely agreeing on the Paper Mario connection, it sounds really funky! This one goes into my standard collection Have you subbed this piece? I'm not an expert but I think this makes a good chance of getting accepted [EDIT] It IS a bit on the short side, though, probably because the intro takes way too much time. And for one reason or the other I expected mroe epicness... Make it longer pretty please?
Vish
This sounds very funky. Bopping my head to it while at work
BardicKnowledge
Nice arrangement! I agree with everyone else about the Paper Mario train of thought. I enjoyed the exposed intro btw -- really light work is what this piece needed, it seems.

CC Ricers
The intro does sound great, you nailed the style there. It was a nice surprise hearing the transition to your old-school dance style of remixing.

meboeck
I love the awkward little sound at the end of every other measure. The first time I heard it I actually laughed out loud. You make awkward and goofy work in an awesome way.
Daybreaker
I also wish this was longer and reached a bit higher of a climax. That's because it sounds so good as it is already, though.
SonicThHedgog
i remeber making a kirby 64 remix that sounded a bit like your beat drop but with a saw to square pad not voice of east library excellent 10/10 (now only if i could find and finish that kirby 64 mix i was doing a year ago > )
ectogemia
I love how the utter quirkiness blends seamlessly with the traditional dance music second half. Flawlessly mastered, or so it sounds to my novice ears. Awesome mix. Just for my own edification, I've got an open question to anyone who knows the answer: At 1:14 when the dance-y stuff comes in, how was that filter swept & gated instrument that made in terms of its waveforms? Is it just a noise wave? I'd love to know how to make one of those.

As to the mix itself, it's an interesting take on the theme (especially nice instrumentation) but I would like to see some more development in terms of melody/harmony. The best part to me was the build-up towards the dance section, but the other parts felt pretty static in comparison. Good production, I'm guessing the bass/drums being a bit more subdued is more of a deliberate choice than poor production.

DarkAura
Every 4th measure there's this odd squeak noise that I keep hearing. It's annoying. But other than the squeak, it's very good.
