KyleJCrb
This game looks fucking ridiculous. I want it.
DrumJ8
I found out about this game because Lindsay Weir voices a character in it. Looks cool, reminds me of No More Heroes.
KyleJCrb
reminds me of No More Heroes. I'd hope so, considering it's Suda51.
DrumJ8
Ahh makes sense, I didn't know. should be good.
DrumJ8
Anyone play this? I haven't yet but I intend to ..
Brandon Strader
I remember when Suda51 used to make games that were intelligent and made me respect him as a game designer. Now apparently he's making zombie games and objectifying women. Doesn't look too good to me.
Meteo Xavier
He's going to learn the hard way, like I did, how the whole bizarro genre thing is dying out.
DrumJ8
heh I am not deterred, I think it looks great and I definitely want to at least try it out

It goes so far over that line that it's impossible to be offended by it.
Brandon Strader
I wouldn't compare this to Blazing Saddles... The racism in Blazing Saddles was at least clever, and ultimately the black characters were portrayed in a very positive way, they were heroes. The racism in Blazing Saddles was at least clever, and ultimately the black characters were portrayed in a very positive way, they were heroes. By that logic, this is also a positive portrayal, since she's the hero.
Brandon Strader
There are no heroes in a zombie apocalypse, only food!
AngelCityOutlaw
A hot cheerleader killing zombies with a chainsaw AND Arch Enemy on the mother fucking soundtrack! How can anyone not love this!?
KyleJCrb
Saying that this objectifies women is like saying Blazing Saddles is racist. It goes so far over that line that it's impossible to be offended by it. Apparently "being hot" is now suddenly synonymous with "being objectified." If Juliet truly represented female objectification, she wouldn't be the one cutting zombies apart with a chainsaw; she'd be sobbing and screaming in the corner as her boyfriend did all the dirty work. Thalzon
Juliet is sort of a parody of the objectified woman. Of course, since the industry as a whole hasn't come close to being tired of playing it straight, the whole parody aspect falls a little flat for some. Personally, I have yet to play the game, and probably won't. The concept never really drew me in.
Devyn
Being a pervert and an action game whore, I like everything but one thing...the title. They could just call it "Cheerleader Zombie Killer" or something like that.
Meteo Xavier
That's not any better a title. I would've preferred to call the game "Chainsaw Lollipop" as it rolls better that way.

Dexie
It gets better. The soundtrack has Pac Man Fever on it. For real.
Brandon Strader
Wait, Arch Enemy is on the soundtrack for this?! Fuck, now I actually kind of want to play it. I could listen to Arch Enemy in winamp while playing any other game. You could too!
KyleJCrb
Do any of those games have zombie-slaughtering cheerleaders? No? THEN WHAT'S THE POINT
Gario
I could listen to Arch Enemy in winamp while playing any other game. You could too! I misread the post, I thought they wrote the soundtrack. It's less impressive when they're just featuring tracks from Arch Enemy. Not that it's a bad thing, but I wanted the chance to do an OCR arrangement of an Arch Enemy track... And that dude from MSI wrote the boss battle music. Regardless, I have a hard-on for this game and need to buy it. EDIT: I'm surprised the OCR "Bronies" aren't flocking to this game like moths to flame since the chick who voices "Twilight Sparkle" voices Juliet.
