KyleJCrb
Is this the first time they've released an official red Wii Remote? Because I'd buy one of those.
Solid Krono
So does anyone else feel like this is absolutely pathetic? Borderline same size, less features, not particularly even cooler looking... just to save like $40? Right as the Wii U comes out? Might as well just buy a decent used Wii for $50 or less and be done with it. I feel like this is the dumbest thing Nintendo has done since the Virtual Boy.
Thalzon
This is aimed directly at the Wii Sports/Wii Fit/Just Dance crowd. Best ignore it.
GravitySuitCollector
Is this the first time they've released an official red Wii Remote? Because I'd buy one of those. The Mario anniversary Wii. http://www.ign.com/articles/2010/10/27/au-marios-25th-anniversary-wii-bundles I like being able to play Gamecube games on our Wii. It's too bad they phased that out with later ones.
Mirby
my wii can't read gamecube discs anymore though that's my fault for hacking it to read gamecube games off SD... good thing i still have a gamecube XD
KyleJCrb
my wii can't read gamecube discs anymorethough that's my fault for hacking it to read gamecube games off SD... Sounds like you need to update the MIOS. The newest ones get disc games working again.
Toadofsky
Sounds like you need to update the MIOS. The newest ones get disc games working again. They can also run games off of USB now, but some games STILL require a disc in the drive, it's just the way they were programmed I guess.
HoboKa
http://www.destructoid.com/-99-99-wii-mini-revealed-239382.phtmlIt's smaller, doesn't play GameCube games, has no online (but then, the Wii barely did, so...) and is only going to be available in Canada for the first few months. Truly, this is the ultimate console. If anyone wants one, just PM me and I'll have it sent by dog sled to the US border. I'll take furs or muskets instead of money if you have trouble converting your dollars to our coins. Got any Wii SD cards?
The Damned
No. The border guards won't let those into the US.
HoboKa
No. The border guards won't let those into the US. I'm Canadian though ...can't seem to find any SD cards in the stores...shoulda gotten a couple a year ago lol.
The Damned
You... you can use regular SD cards. You know that, right?
Less Ashamed Of Self
I've been following this release pretty closely. I was considering buying one/some purely for resale and/or collection purposes. Canada does seem to be at an advantage for having it's OWN EXCLUSIVE NINTENDO CONSOLE. That part is pretty cool. Then again it's black and red.
