I saw that it was a browser-based flash game and ceased caring. I mean it looks like it possibly could be some strange Civilization and Master of Orion mashup, but putting this thing on a browser just makes me think of all the shitty Facebook-based flash games that offer you a little for free and then ask that you pay for more with real money. I really would not put it past Square-Enix to pull a Zynga on us.

Oh well. I guess we can go back to our lives until they hype the fuck out of the next Dissidia or Kingdom Hearts game.

It is literally, definitively IMPOSSIBLE for square enix to redeem themselves at this point. I have very little faith that FF15 would even be worth trying now. It will probably have some kind of flash game or iphone-only component to unlock outfits for the lead character woman and generally be utter crap. I'm just DONE! Sir.
