Does anybody know what's up with Tha Sauce? It doesn't seem to be working on my computer. I thought it might be because I got Vista a while ago but it worked for first few weeks I got the new OS. Is the site under construction or currently down or am I just being shat on?

I seriously doubt Vista has anything to do with it. You're also not the only one. The server is up and running just fine, but some people simply aren't able to access it. I dunno if it's some kind of weird DNS error, or if there's a backbone out somewhere, or what. But it seems to be pretty intermittent. Out of curiosity, what ISP are you on?

I only bring Vista into the equation because it's the most recent major change to my computer.

I've been using Comcast for about a year now and, considering how many other people use Comcast, I don't think that's the problem either.

Since I started this thread I've tried loading Tha Sauce on numerous occasions, I've reset my router, I've tried both Firefox (my default browser) and Internet Explorer, I've checked my firewall's settings and have discovered nothing out of the ordinary, I've even tried the simplest of things, ie: restarting my computer and switching to other accounts upon start up.

This has been going on for a few weeks now; I've only recently become fed up with it enough to ask other people for assistance.

Maybe your ISP blocked it (or a group of servers/IP addresses that it's included in)?

Comcast's Terms of Use says that they reserve the right to block any site they deem offensive but what the hell's so offensive about Tha Sauce? I'm sure most of you have Comcast and it works just fine, right?

Does anyone know how to check to see what site's have been blocked by your ISP?

i've had problems with the frontpage not loading now and then, Xerol looked into it and he thinks it was bots causing problems.

can you access any other parts of the site? for example, try these:

:arrow:http://forums.thasauce.net

:arrow:http://compo.thasauce.net

Now this is weird...I can access the site just fine, but if I try to access it via IP it doesn't work at all. And if I pin it it won't reply at all...

that's not an indication of anything wrong, many servers turn off ping response to avoid DOS attacks.

as well, it's virtual hosting so going by the IP address wouldn't take you to ThaSauce in anyway.

cheers.

I've tried similar things in the past. I've even googled thasauce and clicked on links to random threads. No pages will load at all.

This is such a bummer.
