  1. The People's Remix Competition 324 PRCv13-12 Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition! Important message: the deadline of this round is at Saturday June 11, two days earlier as usual!!! Mega Man 7 got his fourth PRC. PlanarianHugger was the one who selected the source and he posted a bonus track. Chalis and Bundeslang tried to win but both failed. Bundeslang got the wooden spoon. NinjaPenguinDan was too strong and only got first place votes. The source selected is from a game without a PRC history. But it is from Sonic The Hedgehog, and that game has a rich PRC history. The last was in PRC318 when PlanarianHugger claimed victory and Bundeslang got a second place just before RonaldPoe. 4. I never learned to untis. That's why/how more than half of the OCR demographic doesn't even care about my mixes! 0% untis. Well good luck to people who are able to wake up like normal people and work on normal music

  5. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome. I am available to help remixers with feedback, tips, mixing and mastering suggestions and so on. I might even do a track or two that didn't get done on the official QFG4 Soundtrack just for this effort. Once again thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to hearing the excellent work on these from all the talented remixers.

  6. And since the 10.000 song milestone is reached, I did a small analysis for all the 10032 songs of the Compo Page. I think sources also count, but they are not in the list, as well as submissions which are removed later. The number of votes in the system is currently 4474. Contests % and Year % (PRC had 765 out of 9063 songs). Maximum score in a voting stage: NinjaPenguinDan in this years special Pi Round (PRC314), 46 points. Top 10 Most active remixers (I found myself back at place 79 with 32 entries). Only one name with a recent PRC song: Gercr 1 359 Arcana 2 269 sci 3 227 JH Sounds 4 221 DDRKirby(ISQ) 5 221 Misael.K 6 177 Forty-Two 7 167 johnfn 8 162 gercr 9 154 CJthemusicdude 10 146 Acuity This is what I could make in 15 minutes, if anyone wants to see more just reply and I make more statistics (I might do that anyway).

  7. Hi everyone...this is Aubrey Hodges and I am the original composer for several Quest for Glory titles as well as many others over the last 3 decades. I have recently released the soundtrack for Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness http://aubreyhodges.bandcamp.com/album/quest-for-glory-shadows-of-darkness-official-soundtrack and thought it may be of interest to this site. I would be willing to provide a few of the newly recorded and arranged versions if that is something you would appreciate. I am not really sure if the original composers are supposed to be involved in the site or the remixes as I am new to ocremix. (I found out from a fan who sent me a link to the forum). Almost all of the new versions of the songs included are played with live instruments and are now what I had envisioned when I composed them originally. I do plan to release 3 more of my Sierra titles as well: Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist, Shadows of Yserbius (working on currently), and Robin Hood: Conquests of the Longbow. I have also release a 20th Anniversary Edition of my Doom Playstation Soundtrack that includes a ton of new material, longer tracks with new arrangements and 8 brand new bonus tracks. http://aubreyhodges.bandcamp.com/album/doom-playstation-official-soundtrack-20th-anniversary-extended-edition I sent a message to one of the staff but have not heard back yet. With the deadline approaching so quickly I thought I should post here to try and get an idea of whether or not I should provide a few tracks for this and if so, how exactly to provide them. Thanks for your help and thanks so much for your appreciate and support of game composers! -Aubrey Hodges aubreyhodges.com (info, blog etc.) http://www.aubreyhodges.bandcamp.com (album streaming, sales)
