Same. I have a version of "Ganon Battle" that even has a version of the intro to "Ganon's theme/ Last Battle" from OOT. You know what that is- DA DA DAAAAAA DA DA' DA DA DA; DA DAAAAAAAAAAAA. THAT. I have that plus three others coming- please ignore the logo of the videos- Don't want to pay for Soundcloud if I forget to cancel, you know? Here's the cave theme. I know, it's....bad. I'm more about remaking the tracks, so even if someone wants to use my remake and remix it, it could be interesting! I'll see if I can make other songs in the list, I'll get back with new claims if I have any ideas!

......I feel SO evil right now- I have my version of "Ganon's Message" playing as I type....Made in FL, of course. Basically is a "ZREO" version of the piece, with a drum line the second loop/time it plays. Also managed to get the "intro" to the song in. I'll have it up shortly.

Good as well. How many discs should there be two? Also....I don't know if DJ would like us "remaking" the tracks versus "remixing" them. Oh, well, this is a fan project, right? I'm having fun doing it, too. GSO is getting someone to do the art and trailer....Guess someone should get going on the title, right? ....I'll go and do that now....

I like " Of Pendants and Crystals " for a name! I have another idea to put to vote, maybe? How about "Pieces of Courage"?

This is great! Really bouncy - had to groove a bit while listening. Only complaint: I can barely hear that flute, and what I can hear, sounds ... not authentic? Other than that, this is pretty darn complete. Great work!

Dan Bruno, an employee at Harmonix, does some nice VGM analysis at his blog Cruise Elroy. There's the irregular meter series (fuck yeah Mario Kart 64 race results theme), the Ocarina of Time series, and an article on Mother 3's awesome battle themes.

Ah, it's nice to see some interest in the subject. I'm planning on putting something new here weekly - doing the Silver Surfer analysis was fun and I've got to brush up on my theory skills . Don't worry, I have no life so I can afford to do stuff like this . The mechanical vocals were pretty interesting there on the 'I can see them All' track. I don't know if it's true for every song with processed vocals, but I felt the lack of motion really contributed to the 'robot' sound (along with the processed vocals, of course). It's a pretty popular technique when you want to add dissonance to choral music in a gentle manner (leave one voice motionless while the rest of the music moves around it) - a personal favorite of mine, by the way. By the way, that Silius soundtrack was pretty sweet... Maybe I'll go into detail about it next I take it the bass is what your talking about (and not the bass drums)? Interesting use of Timbre... I've got to figure out what they did. Congratulations on your paper, AnSo! I hope it's well received (and it gets translated - I'm still interested in what you've got to say ).
