  1. Yesterday, August 25th, was the 20th anniversary of one of my favorite games, Goldeneye. I got it for Christmas as a kid, and It was the first game I ever owned. I must have played that game for hundreds of hours, both single and multiplayer, loving every minute of it. Of course it helps that I was a huge James Bond fan, but even to this day it's one of the games from my childhood that I have the most fond memories of. What stuck with me the most though, as the years passed by was the music. So to celebrate the games 20th anniversary I decided to "Remaster" the entire soundtrack. I used something called N64midi tool to extract the original game midi and imported it into FL studio, that way I could perfectly match the rhythm and individual note length of each track, instead of just playing it by ear, which I'm not very good at. It took me about three months to get this project finished in my spare time, most of the time spent mixing and carefully picking the right instruments to strike a balance between mirroring the original sound and making it sound like the tracks were recorded with real instruments. I even got so inspired that I wrote a new original track in the style of the games soundtrack. I've uploaded the whole project onto my newly started YouTube channel, along with links to mp3 files in the description of every track. I really hope you guys enjoy my work as I have enjoyed listening to the various works posted to this site over the years.

  2. Sup guys! So I did a vocal remix to the Sonic Mania Intro! If the intro had lyrics this would be it! Enjoy! Original song is called “Friends” by Hyper Potions, and the lyrics are fitting! Hope yall like this one!

  3. Yo this is great. Lyrics are on point. They don't sound awkward or like they were retrofitted onto the song at all. Feel natural.

  4. Playing slow is hard. My first teacher always told me "if you can't play it slow, you can't play it fast". I think there are exceptions but this is usually the case. When I was in college we got to see professional musicians from all over. Lemme tell ya they ALL make mistakes. But If you can improv your way out with a sweep and keep rhythm you're doing okay.

  6. •••OUT OF THE BLUE UPDATE!••• This project still isn't dead! OK, so it hasn't moved since last time I posted, but it's still ever-present in my mind. Good news is that my real-life work commitments are drawing to a close over the next few months (if my contractors keep their promises ), bad news is I'm dealing with some family issues, which may yet pose as a stumbling block. Either way, I'm very slowly planning on gearing up towards preparing a schedule to work at jumpstarting this project before the end of the year. @Trism! TRISM! Where is that good-for nothing... Ah there you are. Dust yourself off boyo, I'm looking at you! I'll be in touch in the coming weeks to see what we can do about this. Anyway, cheers for your unyielding patience folks. Take care, Speak soon(ish). Peace Out
