  1. Yeah, I always thought programming tracks to fade in and out and strike up different cues and all that was the audio programmer/syncer's job, not necessarily the job of the composer.
  2. Think in terms of hours. Days tell me nothing (Downloaded the soundfont - aiming to overtake your Sega Genesis recreation glory. >:S)
  3. Good lord! I have that game upstairs! I want to see this for myself! *rush
  4. EastWest keeps sending me emails about sales they are having for 2 or more VSTs, even after I told them not to. Maybe you should check the EastWest stuff on soundsonline.com (They make EWQLSO and Symphonic Choir)
  5. Basically, there's only been two female voice actresses ever. Tress MacNeill and Tara Strong. And they've never been photographed in the same room at the same time either...
  6. The actual arrangement seems really off-balanced, especially near the start, but its still a decent version I guess. Doesn't do that much for me personally, but I don't have any deep qualms with it. I think I still prefer the original one.
  7. That's really not the right mindset. More accurately, you would say some instruments take more effort to work with than others.
  8. I think its the image that really sells it here. Good lord.
  9. I bought a cheap new USB gamepad for my laptop which was made in China. I didn't realize it was a Chinese product when I bought it off Amazon, so I wasn't expecting some pretty good Engrish on it. Examples include: - 2 axes and 10 fire buttons - Exquisite design and comfortable handle make you handy to play - Various colors for option - Do not drop the controller hardly - Do not dissambley (yeah) the controller - Avoid high temperature and direct sumlight (again) - Do not put liquid or other little things into the controller SHENZHEN-FUYONG-BENTOUXIN-ELECTRONICS-CO! Love it. Any other grand, cheesy awesome Engrish you've come across? We all know "All your base are belong to us", so what else is out there?
  10. OOH! My dad used to have one of those and loved it. I wonder if he's still looking for one.
  11. Where do you FIND all these crazy images you use constantly? I've never seen anyone photopost like you. :P

  12. What am I supposed to think about something like that? Saved games are just flashes of memory on a ROM on a thin slice of plastic - they are NOT living things that demand to live! This puts a brand new spin on the topic.
  13. Well, if you found out your insane FFV save was actually STILL on your memory card 8-9 years later, I'm sure you'd go batshit crazy on take it out mildly on the first person you came across too. Seriously, I remember deleting that save and I JUST found out its still on there. How the fuck is still on there?
  14. Why would I tell jokes other people would laugh at?

Doesn't that defeat the whole point? :P

  15. In my hand, I have a little horn. It goes "Wah Wah Wahhhh...." In my other hand, I'm playing the world's smallest violin. I'm just teasing, dude. Its that kinda night for me.
  16. ...wasn't that big of a secret there, Gollgagh... I believe you. That's really surprising. I guess you'll have to just start over. The Moon would've eaten you alive anyway. Probably better you stopped there the first time around.
  17. Man I hope I remember, it's been about 8-9 years. At some point during World 3, after the Void had swallowed up a bunch of towns, I had a disc error or something happened, and when I reloaded the game, I noticed that the towns were back. I stopped in to a bunch of them and I ended up back in Tycoon Castle. I still had about 3 or 4 characters (I forget exactly), so I was pretty creeped out to see the Waltz was still going on, without Faris and/or Reina in attendance. The game recognized they were in my party, but... the dance was going on anyway. At some point I remember I triggered something and that first part of World 3 where I didn't have Reina and I had to go do stuff anyway... and that was still weird because I still had the stuff from doing it before, but I had to do it again... it was just total timefuck. Last thing I remember was beating the Pyramid again and the boat coming, but I didn't fight the demon in the forest and so I didn't Reina back and I never found the boat. To this day, I've never seen anything like it as glitches go.
  18. It could be, my FFV for PSX went back in time and did a total Back to the Future II timefuck so I'm hardly one to judge, but I'm surprised a game as recent as FFIV DS would do that.
  19. SampleTank is just instruments. FL is the sequencer. Fruity Loops is a music making gun and SampleTank is ammo.
  20. Speaking of reviews, I happen to run by this: http://features.metacritic.com/features/2010/how-does-final-fantasy-13-compare/ I find this pretty surprising in a number of ways, not the least the fact that Final Fantasy IX is the highest rated Final Fantasy game ever apparently (not that I disagree, but I wouldn't have guessed that for all the chocolate in China).
