  1. Like a Porom without a Palom... Took me a few minutes before I made the connection between the usernames.
  2. Tell that to my starving kids, you John Quincy Adams! Who are you to resist it, huh? Come on, my last paycheck bounced! My children need wine!
  3. Doulifee makes a lot of sigs for people on request, or seemingly so. Send him a private message and see what he can offer you. Also, I'm pretty confident you won't find Protricity on these boards anymore, but thats not my story to tell.
  4. I take responsibility for my actions.

  5. Protip: Everyone on Earth is an uncredited composer.
  6. Don't just post your enthusiasm here! Spread the word out across the interwebs!
  7. If it gets serious, you can count me in for a track come hell or high water. I know I've had to back out of some projects here due to energy and schedule constraints, but for an actual game, yeah, I'll bust my computer's ass to get something going there.
  8. Just a suggestion if you don't end up finding someone to work with: - Look up Public Domain images for machinery or whatever might look right. Those things you can do anything you want with. - Go to a Picnik.com or Lunapic.com to edit the image and then go to Picnik.com to put lettering in. If I can figure out how to do that, I'm sure you can. But thats if you end up not finding someone to work with.
  9. I know someone who fits this, but I'm terrified to introduce you to HIM. He's passionate alright, and he could probably get the job done right, but man is he scary (although, somehow, I'm the only person he's never corrupted). I'll keep the option open. I think he's working on a Breath of Fire III FAQ right now.
  10. Fair enough on both counts. Actually probably the smartest moves.
  11. A commission IS something you pay money for. Thats why its called a COMMISSION. If its free, it's called a request.
  12. Fair enough, but I've worked on those before and I've never used Paypal.
  13. Sephfire and Doulifee are the only names I can think of. Sephfire did some great work on my album and Doulifee seems to have some good talent. Consider the DeviantArt option though, just in case those fall through.
  14. A "list"? Probably not. Go check out DeviantArt. A lot of those people work on commission ($) but there's a LOT of excellent work on there.
  15. The number of things I've never done in my 25 years would shock you. It really would. Incidentally, that worked great, thanks. FL Studio 9 seems to be much more complicated with MIDI than 8 was. I've never had to do that before.
  16. I can't get any MIDI Out support from EWQLSO. I keep assigning the Channels and Ports to the numbers I put in for the "Channel" in PLAY and its still not coming out. What am I doing wrong there?
  17. As I research how to improve my orchestration and trying to make things sound more realistic, I keep hearing about an Expression Controller and CC #s. Is there something like that in FL Studio and how do I use it? Do I need an external something or other for it or is it something I can use like the Automation clip?
  18. Well, FL Studio comes with similar sounds and instruments like that already. Not at that quality, but its free and already there.
  19. Why not? Even though you put a negative connotation on it, going mainstream would be the best thing to happen to the series since Lufia II came out in the first place.
  20. This has been posted before, but, frankly, It could be posted again without any jarring internet discrepancies. Glad to see Lufia coming back. Always glad to see that.
  21. Finally got it working. What an obnoxious setup. And thats my half-assed segue into a MIDI question. Has anything else had trouble getting MIDI Out in FL Studio 9 to correspond with EWQLSO? I got a violin and a harpsichord loaded, I turn the Channel under MIDI Port to 1 and neither the Channel or Port in FL's MIDI Out will play anything. I've flipped and switched about every thing I can try and I can't figure out why its not working out.
  22. Bullshit.

Also, I was banned from IRC. Or maybe not. I don't know.

  23. This is a common issue in all things creatively done. I feel like I forget how to do music all the time, mostly because I've never conventionally learned how, but its just a confidence issue. If you've done music before, you likely know how to do music. I struggle with confidence to just get started a lot these days, but just sitting down and noodling around is enough to get you started again and maybe even finish something awesome. Some of my best tracks started out me just fooling around and practicing. Just sit down and play around.
