  1. FF:Legend of the Crystals was awesome. Your criticism is DENIED.
  2. *** DAMMIT! Its just like when I found out about that dogfucking Zombies Ate My Neighbors band (http://www.myspace.com/zombiesaregay) ruining the ZAMN name! Do not associate your slop with the good names of videogamedom! If I ever find you people, I'll beat your ass with your own ass! Hell is not good enough for you, but its the best thing I've got to give you! RAWR!!!! . . . . Sorry, that needed to be said. Continue.
  3. Absynthe takes some work - I find some of the sounds really thin and tinny, but with some elbow grease you could definitely make use of them.
  4. Do you think Captain Lou Albano knew how much we liked to do the Mario? I kind of think of Raul Julia - when he was dying it used to bring him great joy that kids recognized him as Gomez. I wonder if he got that same satisfaction.
  5. Why would we kill you? I could only come with three names for possibilities: Kompakt NI Colossus Omnisphere Not cheap mind you, but they might could get the job done.
  6. Publicity is publicity. That's a lot of money for Joe Sixpack to get his little chiptune out, but if its successful, I see a lot of people using it for cheap advertising down the road. Hell, if I ever find a time and place to get back on my collab with Nutritious, I'd sure as hell pay that. Track's almost 8 minutes long though. Do they have timestamp restrictions?
  7. 64's still got a ways to go, but this I felt was a serious improvement over his last album... 3 weeks ago. Seriously, man, start taking your time on these tracks. I know you're dying to get material out, but now you've got material out. Its time to bone up some. You're making headway, now get serious. 6.4/10 (Ironically enough)
  8. CLASSIC. I always thought he looked like really old school Fire Mario in that costume. I couldn't always tell if that was intentional or not...
  9. My brother put all those episodes and shows on a disk for me for Christmas one year. I should dig that out, I haven't seen those episodes in like a year or two. I didn't know he did the voice of Mario too, I thought he just did the live segments. Can you imagine Super Mario 64 or any of the other Mario games today using Albano instead of Charles Martinet? Man, that would've been awesome.
  10. I'm just saying my first thought when I read it was not Lou Albano, but maybe Nintendo was releasing a Mario game that was abominable or that Nintendo was abandoning Mario following some in-house crisis or, hell, that Miyamoto died. I just thought some clarification in the title might in order, like "Mario is dead R.I.P. Lou Albano." I don't see the need for rude language.
  11. I thought he WAS dead. Who am I thinking of? 76 is a good age for a Professional Wrestler, especially one of that generation, to live to. I didn't know he was that old. Seems to have been a good man in real life too. And I really thought those cheesy live segments were very very charming. . I don't care how badly those shows have aged, you had to be there at that time and age to truly appreciate them like we did. Edit: Also, I'd really consider changing the title here. Its very misleading.
  12. Well, I got it working again. Had to pull some serious and, if I may say, impressive tricks to do it, but its done!

Ultimately it came down to one bad registry key. I deleted it 3 hours ago and it seems to be working ok now.

I appreciate your help as always.

  13. Welcome to the internet. Eh... I guess its not bad, but its not really endearing me. Its got that "poor man's Steve Hackett" thing going for it, even down to the artwork. I like how you post reviews on your Myspace page that are middling and full of backhanded compliments. Am I just listening to poor versions of these songs from Myspace? Its definitely better than I expected it to be, and anyone who pulls off a prog album of any kind deserves some recognition, but its not really endearing me like I say. 7.2/10
  14. Bash not what geography simply has to work with - enjoy instead with what you have been given (such as that video.)
  15. this thing eats the mbam.exe plus Microsoft's Tool (mrt.exe) in safe mode as well. I saw one suggestion, which I might take advantage of here at work, where I can get Malware Bytes set up, rename the mbam.exe file and send it and try to run it. Would that work?

Additionally, what are my options for System Restore points? Do I need to install/reinstall Windows for that to work?

  16. I got hit by the Security Tool virus. I didn't even download anything this time. I tried virus software, including Avast, tried removing it manually and it won't let me use mbam.exe (Malwarebytes). What can I do and how can I thank you for helping me again?

  17. It sounds like a really good start, but the instrument placement needs some work, IMO. I tend to visualize music and right now its kinda Picasso-ish, if that makes any sense. It might just be me. Also that pad needs some smoothing out. It crests and falls in a weird way. Flute could use some smoothing out too, but it's ok as is. Send me a copy when you fix and finish it - I'd definitely love to have this in my collection. 7.9/10
  18. Our school had $10,000 to put a studio together and they did an amazing job. I don't remember what all they used, but one of those studio-ready Macs with Logic, the SM57s for sure but you also need ribbons and condenser mics. We had a medium sized cabinet filled with MOTU racks and of course the sound proofing. That Logic was incredible, btw. I'd definitely recommend that.
  19. Partner just showed back up. Ask and ye shall receive I guess. If it doesn't work out I'll continue to look. Thank you for those who submitted some interest.
  20. I had me a collaboration set up with a friend of mine who does really awesome piano work where I would write this new age, progressive piano song and he would perform it since I have no availability to record piano. Well, I haven't seen him online in weeks nor can I get a hold of him and this track needs to be done more than it needs to be put off - and here we are. I've contacted Shnabubula and he declined in a very respectful way, which I appreciated, so now I'd like to see what my options are. I need to hire someone who knows what the hell he or she is doing and how to really interpret and perform it since the MIDI version I have set up could only give me so much access to emotion and interpretation. The only stipulation right now is any minute now my previous collab partner might show up any minute now with tales of computer failings (which I would understand in his circumstance) and I am obligated to use him instead. I have some money set aside I can pay for some genuine skill here. If you want to talk to me and talk some prices, send me a private message or email me at MeteoX9999SPAMFILTER@aol.com. The SPAM FILTER part of that address, clearly, is just to throw off bots. Please do not contact me on AIM tonight, just an email will do for now. Thanks.
  21. You should score films for Troma, Hob.
