  1. Assuming there's enough room in cars for everyone it's not a problem for me. I'll gladly chip in for gas.
  2. I'm fine either way as well. Go with the flow works for me - assuming there's sufficient bedding around I'd be fine with the empty apartment, or if we're not gonna be too much of a hassle I'd be fine with going to Kroze's. It's good to have both options available tho, definitely.
  3. Yay! Sleepover! Sounds like fun! And much much simpler, too.
  4. I can still host a person, it's hosting more then one that would be difficult. I can handle the snoring, it's just you'd most likely be sleeping on the couch in the common area of the suite, so bring a sleeping bag or some sheets. Or, look into public transit options I suppose.
  5. I'm gonna be in North hall over the summer - which actually, as far as dorms go, is fairly spacious. Sure beats Calhoun freshman year *shudder*. Were it not for the guest policy I could cram in quite a few more people, no doubt, but I'm only gonna be able to sign in one person. I could consider asking my suite/floormates to sign a few guests in, but I can't promise more then one spot at this point.
  6. Oh gee, thanks for volunteering me I'm still in a dorm, so I could only really do one guest. Seems like something we'd have to figure out once we get a definitive head-count. Even then, you cant really do a definitive head-count until the day of.
  7. As a Drexel student (a whole 4 blocks away) and an avid listener of OCRemix, I am so totally there, for the festival and BBQ totally, and most likely the sleepover if there's still space. Sounds like a great time!
  8. Played through it and beat the free demo - twas very fun to do. Clicked my way through to see that the full version costs 22 freakin dollars. Yeah, maybe if it was like 5, or even 10 bucks I would consider. But that's a little much for me, to be honest.
  9. If that is indeed what you're looking for, I would vote for Ghost Love Score by Nightwish. Gotta love the 10 minute long orchestral rock opera shizznits.
  10. I are at skool in Philly (Drexel, as a matter of fact, where our illustrious Zircon attends), and provided I'm still in town I would love to come.
  11. I forgot about fall's DST, so I got screwed out of an hour of sleep. Now I get screwed out of an hour of sleep...again? Or what? Ah well, too much to think on. Gotta get to church in the morning anyways...Lent isn't the best time to be skipping mass for sure.
  12. I wandered into the warrior forums and laughed as they feasted off the druidic tears. My guild has no druid tanks, so this really doesn't impact me. I feel it's a problem, though, when a supposedly "hybrid" class can tank better than the class whose primary role is being a meatshield.
  13. I'm giving it a shot too. I kinda hit a slump in homeworking, and I figure this gives me an excuse to take a 20 minute break.
  14. CT_RaidAssist and CT Mod let you do that as well. I rarely raid, to be honest, and I disable the whole bar-moving-around deal, but it does remove the artwork (if you have the bar moving option on), and give you some other nifty features. The mass-mailing one is a must, for when I'm mailing 20 stacks of bullets from my engineer to my hunter, and it turns your buff/debuff timers into bars, and organizes them by duration, which is handy. Like I said, though, my guild really doesn't raid, but if we ever work up enough people for it I figure I'll have it on hand. I did use a nifty mod called DoTimer, which lets me track how long my dots (I play a warlock) have left, before they wear out. Sadly, it hasn't been updated since 2.0.3, so I'm keeping my eyes on that one.
  15. Learn how to play an ocarina? Or any other instrument? Compete in an eating competition? And maybe even win? Language is good, and the dance thing could be really fun, performing some sort of strange sex act...is up to you, as far as I'm concerned.
  16. http://jadefury.blogspot.com/2006/12/burning-question-what-to-expect.html Mini-blog from a beta tester that should help with answering your questions. I'm excited, because about every zone in BC will have a 5man instance, built in wings, so it'll be real easy to work thru them and get what you want, instead of trekking thru the same 2 hours to get the one boss that you need. My guild is not raiding material (unless you count UBRS), and we have a hard enough time scraping together enough ppl for ZG, so I'm looking forewards to the inclusion of many more 5mans. We are growing and stuff, but still, it can be frustrating at times. I roll with a gnome lock on Staghelm, demo spec, with about 330 +shadow damage or so with buffs. I'm looking forewards to being able to upgrade my gear pretty quickly and easily, lemme tell ya. Shame it gets released a week after I go back to school...
  17. QFMFE It's become a beginning of AV joke now that victory is defined by our ability to even capture stormpike. I've started looking forward to nubs who need to complete their quest for thier trinket, so I can spend the 20 minutes in there helping them instead of rushing stormpike with 3 or 4 others while the rest of the team afks or wanders around. In your opinions, which BG is best for getting honor? Most ppl say AV is great, becasue you dont even have to do anything to rack up some points, but I usually just push O and get maybe 4 HKs omw down. Usually it's pretty close, win or lose, too. Meanwhile, in AB, I am eating faces (when I'm not getting pincushioned by hunters), so I get far more HKs. Do those add up to more honor overall, or what? Or does it just depend on how often you win or lose?
  18. same lvl here...and same problem...but i'm a lock http://www.wow-pro.com/node/600 There's an Alliance leveling guide, from 30-60 (just skip to 40), and I'm sure they have a link to a Horde version as well. This guide gives you the best quests to pick up, and actually do, and which ones to skip/save for later. It involves planning ahead as well, etc. My friend got from 30-40 in a little over a week or so following this guide (with help from guildies on instancing). I've started it on my hunter as well, and would reccomend it. There are also pure hunter leveling guides you can find online in places (I havent bothered looking yet), and some links off the Warcraft website for pet guides - when your pets can learn new abilities, and what mobs you can learn them from as well. All quite useful, I must say.
  19. Apparently opening the Dark Portal is a server event as well. Just think about that. I wasnt around for the opening of the AQ gates, but I am eagerly looking forewards to opening the Dark Portal. Anyone know what you're going to have to do for that?
  20. God forbid Blizzard be infalliable, honestly. Is it frustrating to be almost winning an AB for once, just to have the BGs freeze? You bet. But, honestly, they just released the biggest content patch in the history of the game, and now the BG servers are being pushed to their max. I'm not suprised. Frustrated, maybe, but not too suprised.
  21. You can buy them, using them is another thing. Kinda like how there are jewelcrafting designs floating around? Or how at 60 I have an XP bar, but I cant gain XP yet?
  22. I'm a 60 gnome lock on Staghelm. I've been using an SM/Ruin build for a while, but I decided to respec and give Soul Link a shot. It's...interesting, I must say. I figure with the release of 2.0, talent points are gonna be refunded, and I haven't respecced that much, so I figure why not? Talent points are gonna be refunded when they move to 2.0, so if I dont like it, I can just play my alts until then. I must say, though, I am really looking foreward to BC talents. Felguards are wrecking machines, supposedly, and I saw a video of an affliction spec lock DoT (that's right, DoT, not AoE) grinding with a priest on healing. He would load up mobs with DoT's, do an instant howl of terror, and by the time they got back to them, they'd be dead. If not, he'd just re-DoT them up and it wouldn't be long. With the priest healing him after he life taps, he was a perpetual motion machine. The video was 20 minutes long - I'll see if I can find the link for it, if anyone is curious.
  23. I just want to warn you, the Ogre bead farming takes forever. A lot of my guildies are working on their upgrade quests, and the bead farming takes days, apparently. In short, bring a friend who can DPS, especially if you're prot spec.
  24. If you haven't checked by now, they're up yet. Also, WoW has been randomly crashing again and again for me...I ran the Blizzard Repair thing once, and I'm doing it again. I think I'll need to reinstall it, though. Lucky for me, I'm coming home this Friday, so I can do that, but I think it's gonna turn out to be a much longer week than I thought...
  25. If druids get that, why cant locks/pallies get something along the same lines? How much are those nether drakes gonna cost, anyways? I know that flight form only has 60% speed instead of 100%, but still...
