  1. Indeed. I got it in the same way. This is certainly a nice work. The piano proposed here is very catchy; there have a cool variation of volume notes and powerful execution. I always like piano solo mixes. This is an example of how this can be so good. Sweet mix.
  2. Sure, TO. I will do something close in a source of the Project if possible. It would be more easy for me in this case because I could be working in a song wider than the proposed in my example. If the only problem is the arrangement it must be dissolved. I can do it close of the original.
  3. This is an example of what I can do. I am certainly interested in this Project. I love Doom. Listen to my song. I know there have some problems of volume. But I am sure to improve it in my future songs. Tell me if I'm able properly to pick a track. If it is possible, I will do some cool stuff with a way of the Doom's Soundtrack.
  4. I am almost sure it was done in FruityLoops because of the drums and the cello. Regardless, most instruments are pretty cool. The guitar was well executed, as I always can expect from GT. The saxophone did justice as well. Some effects that starts at 1:30 with the electric guitar reminds me of Protricity's 'Realms of Africa'. Man...that thing in the percussion is really awesome. All the transitions are sounding clean and I especially love the piano finishing the mix. Reverb and panning are working very well. In my opinion the beats could be replaced because they aren't good at all. but I love the random sequence of drums. This is indeed very neat. Congratulations to both for the first OCReMix.
  5. In my knowledge, he was banned because he was a bit arrogant in the community.
  6. Somehow this game was awesome. The soundtrack still works for me. But I think this mix could have more instruments and more ideas. The beginning is...like the end: it come and go away, with fade in and fade out effects. But the drums are some cool thing. I wanna tell this stuff have some little problems in the production and velocity. Not a bad mix. However it really can't be compared to one of my favourite songs by djpretzel 'Starfox Fortuna Favors the Funk OC ReMix'. Sorry, Dave. I didn't got it.
  7. OMG. And I also love this mix. It sounds like a sad music in some transitions. The effects created by Protricity are very nice. Cool placement of percussion. Everything here is well placed. But personally the effects are my favourite thing in this work. Excellent job.
  8. This is indeed an unique stuff, like Mazedude's music. He captured the essence of a slap bass. Those elements proposed are pure fun. The brass did a too satisfactory justice. Very good instrumentation. Very cool ideas. Great and nice stuff.
  9. Hahahah!! My great friend!! Isso tá muito bom, cara! Eu me lembro da versão anterior. E isto melhorou bastante!
  10. Congratulations for your first song on OCR, DistantJ. I already knew you could do that. Sitar? Hahah, it was very cool with the chinese flute as well. Good use and selection of drums. The synths working around are a nice shot. Everything sounds great for me. I especially love electronic/ethnic pieces. Look at the arrangement on Marble Zone Theme, very unique. This is my favourite mix of DistantJ. This is also his best stuff. I saw how the effort was proposed. Keep up the good work!
  11. The piano was played nicely, as I always can expect from Dhsu. And GrayLightning, congratulations for the great work on the side of the production quality of this mix.
  12. I almost never listened a song done by Israfel. But this is indeed a good mix. I like the use of percussion proposed here. Very creative and wild composition. The strings and the brass really did justice in a whole. And I love the end. It sounds sweet and epic for me. I think this mix have a quality of new stuff. I´ll check more stuff of Israfel. But I can´t stop listening that.
  13. Wow! It´s indeed a hot stuff. Sounds pretty industrial and nice. Great quality of instruments. Really pleasant stuff by Ubik.
  14. This is certainly my favourite song from Jeremy Robson. Everything here sounds clearly romantic if considered with the famous Russian Arrangements.
  15. Mazedude´s mixes are always defined with weird things. Between his works, the most interesting point is the crazy percussion. He´s able to abuse of that with high and low notes, proper creation of sounds and some panning. The instrumentation is equally very unique and creative. As far, this mix is only an example of how he is so good. Excellent.
  16. At least you could be patient. I didn´t posted absolutely nothing here in two weeks. My expectation was going to reply you today. But now it shouldn´t do justice. I left.
  17. I was too busy. But now, I will get some points. Listen, Shael. My song is an orchestral stuff. But it is also epic. I remember when you said that this was a good example of how and when the mood and genre guidelines can be relaxed for ending themes. If you didn´t noticed, it IS Chun Li's Ending Part 3 (Check the last version of my WIP at 03:16 and in the end at 04:44). Please, consider the spc file. Of course I saw your message at VGMix. But I was busy and a bit confused to answer your question. You said me something about some scratching to my song for a more "urban" concept. Also you didn´t PMed me over a month ago, as you said now. The message was proposed in September 12. I was working on this mix for almost five months and I haven´t intentions to change the communication of my song. I think it means quality and re-arrangement, so it´s more important. I don´t want to be a n00b, but if my work is really rejected, you never will receive a Chun Li's End 3 as I made. I am very disappointed. -Txai
  18. I haven´t listened to many songs from Suzu. But this is indeed a nice one.
  19. Fantastic! What cracks me up on this mix? I think the distortion of synths are a good reason. Also, I like the cut of the synths at 02:09 (these are things of Protricity). The percussion isn´t bad; it is exactly appropriate for the mix. Great fun!
  20. ]Do you have some experience? Could you provide some examples? Aetherius have some mixes here. He was one of the mixers of the Kong in Concert Project. Listen to three songs of him: 1.Chrono Trigger - To Far Away Timescapes. 2.Donkey Kong Country - Clouded Mind and Ringing Ears. 3.Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time - Memories of Saria.
  21. Yeah. I listened it on VGMix. Dhsu played the piano so nice, like his previous mixes. Also is the same song ReMixed by virt on his "Once Upon a Time in Transylvania". I love it! Great stuff, Dhsu!
  22. I think it sounds nice. The electronic drums did a very unique justice with the ethnic percussion, didn´t boring. Fun of synths, also enjoying some hippieistic concepts at 02:13, playing an indian banjo or whatever. Very creative arrangement too. Overall, chthonhtnithic did a very interesting effort with this hot shot! Please, get yourself nice and do a forum search for a user named chthonic.
