I think most of the "traditional" daws can do it. Except, bafflingly, Sonar. And that was just one item out of a laundry list for me. The exceptionally clunky and limited key binding. The even more clunky way to configure control surfaces. No macros (ok there's CAL, lol). Slow and painful automation. No multi-out midi tracks. General feeling of inefficiency. Ok there is one thing I miss from Sonar, the track inspector. You can rig up one in Reaper, at the expense of the full mixer. Ok, another one - tempo automation feels less risky. Every time I do it in Reaper I feel there is a potential fuckup on my hands. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

I used Sonar for 7+ years, but eventually there were too many deal breakers for me. No batch rendering... really, Cakewalk? I'm much happier with Reaper. I honestly can't think of any feature i miss from Sonar.

I hope everyone doesn't have to match this level of quality for ReMixes going forward.

If Kickstarter is venture capitalism for the masses, this is patronage for the masses. Sounds fine with me. I don't think I could ever do it, I'm filled with too much doubt over the quality of my music. But obviously it's working for other people.

It was by Krispy, and I believe it was called Deep Blue. Back in the day I enjoyed the hell out of this one, but I can't find it anywhere. I've googled it of course but none of the links pan out. Does anyone have this track? I'll be your best friend for life.

To me a cohesive album would stick closely to the implied genres of all the tracks, not be a single genre. For some of the source tracks the genre is fairly obvious, others not so much. That said to me there can be as much interest in hearing a track done 180 degrees from the source. Obviously though different people have different expectations.

Hah, thanks! I know it's probably towards the bottom of the list of tracks people are anticipating, but I hope it still piques the interest of folks.

It's weird, I went back and listen to the actual Bohemian Rhapsody, and it's actually fairly sedate compared to this. methinks Jake used more Queen mannerisms than Queen.

I know. Take the album down and start over, that's the only solution I can see.

Confirmed, the FLACs have the silence as well. Just checked them in my DAW.

I was thinking the exact same thing today listening to these tracks, christ do I suck at orchestral music. It almost makes me want to not even bother.

It's funny. Back in the day I, like many people, thought this was SOAD. Singer does sound like Serj Tankian, or at least the manic energy and weird inflections of Serj. Nowadays it's transparently obvious that the production quality is nowhere in the league of SOAD. Plus the music doesn't sound anything like them. Yet back in the day I desperately wanted to believe that SOAD was cool enough to do a Zelda cover.

Who convinced Queen to do a game arrangement? And I thought Freddie Mercury died awhile back? Seriously, it's a spot on tribute. I teared up during one part. I'm not afraid to admit it.

Hurry up and release this, then start releasing the other finished albums.
