  1. I love this mix, and, to me, it sounds like what the BGM SHOULD sound like. I will agree that it does end abruptly, but if you loop it end to beginning, it loops perfectly
  2. That is a very cute song, I'm not sure what play list it'll go with but I'll find somewhere. It definitely reminds me of Weezer, and I love it.
  3. I've gotta stop listening to these at work. people look at me funny when I start chair dancing, I love the dance take on this song. This has to be a crazy level in Audiosurf.
  4. I like the funk for the first 2 min or so, but after that it seems like it just kinda dies off, almost as if it does not want to progress to the next part of the song. then the "rock" portion of the song comes in at 2:25. and then the song ends weak. Even considering those issues it's a really good mix, I love the funkat the beginning, and the rock portion close to the end.
  5. I'm not 100% sure I like the build up to the source, it comes a little close to being repetitive, but not quite. But it still almost half the song before the source shows as far as I can tell. Over all it's a fun trance mix.
  6. well, his name may be Rockman, but his music has always been electronic. and this mix reflects that excellently. I love this track and it is a statement of the longevity of it's sound.
  7. This is not a bad mix, the main theme fits well, and most of the songs used also fit well with the style. But the whole song sounds like each section was forced.. they all sound good a metal renditions, but not good "together" and J.E.N.O.V.A. does not fit at all really. If you were to take each one of these songs and mix it as a separate son, it would be bad ass. Unfortunately they don't play well with others.
  8. A nice smoothing mix (maybe a little too soothing as I actually fell asleep to this once or twice.) to me the violin sounds a little out of place, but not bad enough to detract from the mello-ness of the whole thing.
  9. I bit on the repetitive side, but considering the source, he did a really decent job. The panning of the (game?) voice was interesting and lifted it up a bit. Overall, it's not bad if your into techno.
  10. The player of the piano is very skilled, the melody is rather moody, and kinda reminds me of black/white cartoon music. Maybe it's just me. the piano seems a little off on the high end, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's just how that piano plays.
  11. This beautiful piece tells an epic tale of loss and vengeance which has earned it way into a permanent spot in my list.
  12. Ok, I'm gonna start off by saying that I love this mix. On it' own, the song is a peaceful melody that does bring to mind close quartered slow dancing in that awkward adolescent way. The intro and exit of the song however make it golden. and for those with sharp ears, can hear the "damn it" after the first 2 chords of the guitar. made me chuckle a bit also. As a whole it goes in my fun list with a few extra stars
  13. Well, to like this song you need to like Electronica/Techno and I do, so I like this. I will admit that FFMusicDJ has done much better work though. On a side note, this is the song that brought me to this site.
  14. This is an interesting mix, listening to it did get me chair dancing. It's fun, and has an Asian +70's vibe
  15. This song inspires a smooth outlook on life. and with that outlook comes a lot of relaxation. This remix has found a permanent home in my calming playlist.
  16. Will any of the older album torrents be updated? examples: Kong in Concert's torrent is actually .WAV files. Not the mix of .mp3 and .flac files the most of the others. Relics of the Chozo simply has a .rar file full of .wav files.
  17. When played for my wife, her first word was "pretty" I added "Awesome" A very bouncy and fun mix. Not sure which playlist to put it in tho.
  18. I really like this mix, it has a light feel that I find missing nowadays. This does also have a "marching band" sound that I actually like almost, more like a Mardi Gras. I hope to hear more from you.
  19. With a soft melody and a pleasing sound, This one will find it's way into my calming playlist for a long time to come. Very well done.
  20. I picked up 2 of the newer songs from the site today: ReMix: Suikoden 'Days Long Passed, Seldom Remembered' http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02410/ and ReMix: The Legend of Zelda 'Zelda Heineken' http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01845/ One of these has album art and a different album name from the other. Is this normal? I know the older torrents had this issue, but I thought the new mixes had a format or something.?
  21. This is what MegaMan X music is supposed sound like. I'll be honest I stopped playing MMX at 6, but listening to this has made me want to go and finish the series. I love it.
  22. check the end of this thread out. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=6108
  23. Note: I need to stop posting at 11pm my time lol. I'm just gonna DL the ones I really like until the torrents are updated.
  24. I was wondering if there was an ETA, there's almost 500 new songs since the last updates the last I hears was "after the new year". I don't like the idea of getting the ones missing via downloads, bandwidth and carpel tunnel both concerns.
  25. Honestly the issue would not have happened to me if I had not let my wife sit at the system. I prefer to organize them myself because I have several programs accessing the same libraries. I knew about the ID3 tag update, but was not sure if it was still going. I'll have to start a VM when I get back home and break it again to see which version of windows this happens in. But she let i-Tunes organize the music and it puts all the OCR into a folder named after the album, which broke the files. I'm gonna wait till the torrents are updated, I'ed rather have the updates ID3 tagging.
