No. Those rumors are totally false...

Load times are taking forever, but then again, I have less than the recommended system requirements. Not that it matters, I just wanted to play the beta to see what it's like. It's not bad, graphically, it's pretty much on par with current MMORPGs. However, I think the music could use some work, as it sounds very bland. I understand though, that it's not the movies. Therefore, they didn't hire the same music producer that they did for the movies. Still, all in all, I like the experience so far, and the Hunter class is interesting.

MEETUP: Baltimore, MD--April 7th - Pics up! (pg11)

Guess that means Katsurugi doesn't like Cosmic Wimpout either. Some of the best games on the planet are simple little things. -
MEETUP: Baltimore, MD--April 7th - Pics up! (pg11)

Sounds like that security guard needs to get launched. Big time. At least you had a good time though. If I ever do get to hang with you guys at some point (hopefully at Otakon), we'll have to look into an alternate parking area for ourselves. At least then, we wouldn't have to deal with asshat noobs like that guard. He's probably just some rent-a-cop anyway. Don't ya just hate those types that feel like they're god, but really, they're just a tool. Someone else's instrument to use in whatever capacity they want to? Oh well... That's my two cents, three nickels and a quarter. -
No you jerk. Read the bio on his website I really wish some of you would grow up and stop acting like noobs yourselves. Really. A man has his equipment stolen, his artwork taken, and on top of that, this isn't the first time it's happened. The man is damn near going to lose his ability to create his art because some asshat jerkoff decides that he/they want to be big shots and steal the man's stuff. Honestly, if it happened to you, you'd want an APB put out on the perpetrator, and you'd want them prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I mean hell, if someone broke into my house, stole all of my belongings, and I knew who it was, or knew someone that knew something, I'd find out, find the bum or bums, and have them arrested, and my belongings returned if possible. Personally, it's a blow to the community just joking about the man losing his equipment. That to me pretty much says you'd condone someone stealing equipment from Zircon or Beatdrop. And that you'd be totally fine with it because you'd get a laugh out of it. Well, anyway, I'm sorry for going off on a rant, but it's not fair to call someone names that you don't really know anything about, especially after having his personal property stolen from him. How'd you like it if someone did that to you? Hm? Bet you'd hate it. I hope they catch the criminals that did this. And as far as the Timbaland thing goes, I hope the original artist wins that and gets millions for it. Because while the RIAA might bitch and gripe about copyright infringment, they also need to realize they're out there to protect artists from other artists. And considering a lot of the newer artists have about as much musical talent as a 2 year old banging on pots and pans, that says a lot about the need of some of these so-called artists to "borrow" other people's property.

BUMPAGE! Yeah, I'm bored, and trollin', but this project is important to me. Almost as important as wings are right now. Mmm...teriyaki!

That's some pretty awesome work. So, when are we getting the OffTop GT remixes??? Hmm?

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. I think it has room for a sequel considering the open ending of the movie (though sadly, Mako won't be present to provide Splinter's voice). just listen to the last line Karai has in the movie and you can get the feeling you're going to be seeing some familiar faces. Of course...from what they seem to hint at, they may end up facing Shredder yet again. But who knows. Also, note, if anyone's on X-Box Live, they've had the original arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles up for download for a while now, and believe me, it's true to its original arcade glory days. So download it and enjoy (demo is free, but you need points for the full game).

Looks like I'm screwed...Last time I was on my level stopped at like 63/64...And that's JUST my necro.

I know there's a lot of digital cameras out there, but knowing which one is the best is rather difficult. So I was curious to know if anyone could give me some pointers on what's good and what's not so good. I want to spend under $200. So if anyone has any ideas, hints, tips or suggestions, please, let me know. Thanks! Edit I should note, that it's just for personal use, I'm not doing anything professional with it, at least, not yet, unless I happen to pull a "Peter Parker" and go freelance. Heh heh...

BUMPAGE! Also, I'm looking for two Um runes. And I've started building a fully Find Item/Magic Find Barb. Anyone that wants to rush him through Normal and NM tonight, I'll be on later, probably before I go out tonight. Then when I return after midnight (EST).

Only thing I can say about this topic is that it's just more judge hate. As a whole, I think a lot of us need to step back, and look at the standards that have been set forth, and compare them to just passing any ol' thing. Remember that a long time ago, OCR didn't have these standards. Also remember, that OCR, like life itself, is ever evolving, and that being a part of it means we are evolving with it. Is it really elitism if the music you're waiting to hear needs to evolve a little first?

Looks like I have some catching up to do. Last I checked, I was still at level 23, and I'm only at act IV in Normal Mode. So yeah, if I'm home early enough Sunday, I'll most likely be on by 6 or 7, so if anyone's available, I'd like to attempt to catch up.

Any cheapasses? Better get to a Best Buy asap...
Dyne replied to Bahamut's topic in General Discussion
The Best Buy in my area had those stupid boxes with the $9.99 games, but no other markings for anything else, plus the PS2 area was wiped clean. And there were no areas for X-box/360 or GC. So that pretty much sucked. And to the person who mentioned the douche bag employees, I wouldn't doubt it one bit if they hogged the stuff for themselves, half the staff in my area's Best Buy doesn't even have peach fuzz on their chins yet. -

So I'm curious, is there a link to the actual article on CAG? If so, I was wondering if you could supply it since I'm lazy and really can't figure out their search function right now. (I just got up.) -
Just did a full virus scan, and scanned for Trojans. Found nothing. So what the hell can it be? Also, I don't run enough toys on the computer to be able to wreck my power supply. I'm going to make sure every card is seated correctly, but I doubt that it's anything to do with hardware. It's basically picking random programs, even stuff that's in mid-setup, and just rebooting. And I had another reboot because of Winamp, and it once again wiped out all of my bookmarks in Firefox.
-
I just built this thing a year ago. I'm not replacing it this damn quickly. Also, if you swapped out all of that gear, wouldn't that indicate a software issue instead? What I'm think is that somehow, during installation of one of the pieces of software I reinstalled, somehow, some way, something was installed that started causing this. In fact, it did this BEFORE I reinstalled the OS. Which leads me to believe that something I may have clicked on before, and subsequently downloaded, is causing this problem. Oh yeah, by the way, Winamp now causes the reboot to happen. On top of that, it looks as though it completely WIPED OUT all of my damn bookmarks in Firefox. Explain that one to me. And by all of the bookmarks, I mean EVERYTHING that I just added tonight, as well as over the last three nights. Not like when Windows shuts down, reboots, and then things you were working on that were sitting in RAM just up and disappear, I'm talking about stuff that has been on the machine for DAYS. GONE. WTF?!?!?!
-
Well, thought I had it worked out last night after I rebooted and ran scandisk, HOWEVER, now, as of a few minutes ago, Winamp is causing the machine to reboot. So, it's rather weird that it's doing it for Winamp now. I'm starting to wonder if it's a virus or some other kind of hacker job. Then again, I don't understand why a hacker would target me, I've got nothing of value on the computer's hard drives.

Recently, I completed a complete wipe and reinstall of the operating system (using XP Pro). Now, sometimes when I attempt to run certain programs, it automatically reboots. For example, I attempted to run Adobe After Effects just a little while ago, and it rebooted the system. Now, it didn't just exit out of windows normally, no, it was like I hit the power switch and then turned the switch on again. I haven't ruled out anything yet, so I'm looking for a solution. Anyone have any ideas?

That's right, ANYTHING Suzu touches turns to gold.

...I don't know if Uwe Boll actually CARES that his movies suck, but if he ever figures it out, he might consider someone taking a 2x4, and smacking him upside his head with it. I mean really, that movie isn't in the least bit funny.
-
Yeah, that's the first thing I noticed about Grandpa Max. Ironically, his character apparently was in fact with the U.S. Government in his past. Don't really know how deep that well goes, but I'm not that interested. I've just seen enough of it to get the hint that he'd been involved in alien activity before. Ah well, lets hope for the best.

I think they ought to have David Hayter do it. It would make sense. I mean, he's the voice of Snake, and I'm sure he could act just as well as he does while doign voice over work. Also, if I'm not mistaken, he has been in a few films himself...It's Wikipedia, I know, but at least it gives you an idea.

I just happen to catch this article while looking at AnimeNation.com. Apparently, according to this Varity article, an agreement between producer Michael DeLuca and Sony Pictures has finally been solidified to give the go ahead for an MGS movie. The good news is, Hideo Kojima, according to the article, will be executive producer. The better news, as of right now, Uwe Boll has NOT been mentioned as part of the project. So we are free of the Uwe for now. So, what're your opinions on an MGS movie? Good, bad, indifferent?
