  1. Hey friends! I just wanted to announce, for those who haven't heard of it, Analoq's project Compo: ThaSauce For those of you who don't already know, Compo: ThaSauce is a section of ThaSauce where compo organizers can easily put together their compos with a unique system set up by Analoq. To get a basic understanding, more so than I can give, check out the Compo: ThaSauce Wiki. I use that to keep track of all the happenings with Compo: ThaSauce (obviously). Also, another important topic to talk about here are the Album Stubs that Xerol and Rama have been attempting to get finished for quite some time now. They definately need your help! You can help them by helping me help complete them! (Yes, I know, just go along with me here.) What you can do, is if you have any information on the artists on that page, OR, you ARE the artist from that list, by all means, PM me here on the forums, or look for me over on ThaSauce's forums. I'm doing my absolute best to finish all those stubs, but it's a long process, and my time is limited to only an hour or two a night. So please, any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  2. You know, I wanted to comment on the sidebar. Now don't worry, this isn't negative. I actually like the sidebar. There are some that don't, and well, that's just too bad. But I think the sidebar actually adds usability to the site. Think about it. You don't have to search for links to every little thing you want to access. Instead, it's just to the left. I use the sidebar every time I come to the site to jump to the forums. Makes navigation that much easier. As a matter of fact, for those that are on older browsers, or are sadly stuck in a position that you don't have all the fancy upgrades, the sidebar is a great addition as it allows you to click actual links instead of hoping the drop menu works. Anyway, I think the sidebar was a plus. Even if some might disagree. I just wanted to let people know where I stand on this.
  3. This is old. Jack Thompson is being Jack Thompson, a self-righteous pompous asshole, with nothing better to do than to attempt to ruin everyone else's fun because nobody bought him an Atari or a Commodore when he was a wee little Jackie boy. He needs to grow the f*** up, and get off people's backs. Games are not the problem, people like him, bleeding heart liberals, and people who don't see the forest for the trees are the problem. They seem to think that everything else is to blame, but you don't dare blame the parents of the child, or adult. No, no, you musn't ever blame the parents, that would be cruel. It's not the parents fault they weren't there for little Timmy's school play. It's not the parents fault that little Suzy was abused by an adult. Oh no! That would be the easy fix for the situation. Yeah... You know what. I want five minutes with Jack Thompson. Just five minutes. All I want to do is talk to the man, and get an understanding of what the hell it is he think he's trying to prove. I'd also like to know why the hell he doesn't get what the last judge told him. Personally, I hope the next judge he sits before hits him with contempt, and sends him to jail. Then he can re-enact that episode of The Boondocks where the lawyer is so afraid to go to prison because he doesn't want to get raped. Yeah, I think that might wake his ass up to what's REALLY wrong with the world.
  4. What they need to do is get Lucy Liu to play Chun-Li. That's what they need to do. Then they need to get Robin Shou as Ryu. But who to play Ken...? Obviously, we need an unknown. Hm... Questions, questions...
  5. Well, it looks like YouTube is in hot water...again. Though this time, it's from outside of the US that the heat is coming from. Check this out; YouTube Lawsuit Article.
  6. As I've said in #ocremix, I WILL be at Otakon. Oh yes...Dyne is coming to town...HIDE! Just kidding. I'm looking forward to a good time at Otakon. If you need any help setting up for your panel please, by all means, let me know what you need, I'd love to help you guys out Zircon. As far as what to talk about on the panel...good question. I'll get back to you on that.
  7. Ridiculous accusations like that, even jokingly, are what get people into trouble. Exactly. That's an EXCELLENT point. People need to stop jumping to conclusions immediately without the facts of the matter at hand. The problem with this situation is the fact that the "fear" of a situation like Virginia Tech or Columbine is a very real matter. On top of that, the fear from the Virginia Tech incident is still fresh in people's minds, hence, you're going to have people jumping on every little situation as though it were on the scale of one of those tragedies. Until people learn to dissect the truth from the situation, these things are going to continue to grow out of proportion until we've no freedoms left to enjoy.
  8. All I can say is welcome to the world of tomorrow, in which we live in fear of each other, and nobody can say one little thing outside of being politically correct without being marked a criminal or a terrorist. Seriously people, the world's going to hell, and nobody's doing a damn thing about it. What a waste.
  9. I think the point that some of us are trying to make is that it's over and done with, let's put this behind us and move forward. Honestly though, even mentioning Prot at all is a bad idea. And I'm not faulting anyone for posting here about him, or the old situations, I'm just saying that it's like giving a reaction to someone who wants a reaction. All you're doing is gratifying said person's ego, and that kind of stroking is best left to someone else who can handle the person in question. Well, something like that. All I can say is that from my own experiences from Prot, I wouldn't put it past him to do any of the bad things that people have said he's done, or things that he hasn't, but probably would've if he could've. I honestly just don't like the jerk.
  10. What? I say "I'm in" and nobody else responds? What're you afraid of? C'mon guys, join in on the fun! How often do any of us get an opportunity like this? Also, how many times do we get to be in town for Wizards World????? Oh, and by the by...BUMP.
  11. I'm in. A nice saturday in June would be fine. Museum of Art anyone?
  12. Well, if you're going to play anything, here's some suggestions: From Cowboy Bebop: - The Real Folk Blues - No Reply - Want It All Back - Ask DNA - Tank! - Pushing the Sky - Gotta Knock a Little Harder From X/1999: - eX Dream - Unmei From Naruto: - Go! - Wind - Far Off Distance From Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig: - Rise I'm sure there's more than that, but still, those are amoung my favorite tracks. Honestly, it doesn't matter what you play, because we all know it's going to rock the house. Anyway, good luck, I hope you take top honors. Edit Actually, now that I think of it. You might consider making an album of cover songs for various anime since you're going to compete in the AnimeExpo's Battle of the Bands. I think people would love that idea.
  13. Just curious...but I'm in need of the link for the Clan OCR thread. I'm probably just blind, it's probably right in front of me, but I'm n00b enough to ask for the thread link please. K thx.
  14. I broke down and bought the USB adapter for WiFi, so now, I'm live on Pokemon Diamond. If you want to play, hit me up on IRC, and it's on. My friend code is in my signature.
  15. Yeah, but the point was that he was being a dick about it. So the real question then becomes, if he's going to be anal about a button, what's stopping him from any other kinds of problems that potentially lead to legal problems?
  16. About damn time this moron was out of the company. This is the same guy, who at the launch of the PSP, said blatantly he wouldn't change the position of the buttons even though they were known to stick because of their proximity to the screen. And basically said, "if they don't like it, they don't have to buy it." Oh, I'm so sorry Mr. Kutarugi, I did not mean to offend you with my oh-so-whiney stint about my uncomfortable finger position on a portable YOU DEVELOPED. Well, anyway, about time.
  17. I just got the game yesterday, unfortunately, unless you're willing to send me that $35 usb wireless adapter for Nintendo Wi-fi, we're out of luck. Sorry. Heh.
  18. Just a thought, but if everyone would PM your Friend Codes, and which version they're for, I'll put together a web page with them on it for everyone who wants to play together instead of searching feverously throughout the thread to find said friend codes. Note, I don't have a friend code yet, but I should be the end of next week. I don't have Wi-fi at home, I'm still on a wired network. Anyway, just PM me and I'll set it up.
  19. I was just browsing through some e-mail before taking off for the evening, when I noticed the newsletter from 1up.com. So, I figured I'd share it. Here's a link. nice to know D2 is still alive and kicking. Now...if only there'd be a World of Diablo, I might actually live my virtual life playing in the on-line dreamland.
  20. I've got a few suggestions: X Tv OST - eX dream (OP Theme) - Battle Ayumi Hamasaki - Because of You Toshiro Masuda from Naruto - The Raising Fighting Spirit - Need to be Strong - Strong and Strike - Orochimaru -Fight- Asian Kung-fu Generation - Far off Distance (Naruto) - Rewrite (Full Metal Alchemist) Flow from Naturo (OP 4) - GO! Soundtrack - The One (White Zombie) - Blame [L.A. Remix] (Gravity Kills) - Cut Me Out (Toadies) - 10 Seconds Down (Sugar Ray & the Bluetones) Transformers: the Movie Soundtrack - Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way (Spectre General) - Hunger (Spectre General) *note: Spectre General is not the band's real name, the real band name is Kick Axe, who recorded the songs for the soundtrack. ORANGE RANGE - Kirikirimai (Album Version) - Kirikirimai (Fantastic Four Remix) - ~Asterisk~ - Viva Rock Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG Soundtrack - Rise I think that's enough. Good luck.
  21. Agreed. Though, I did like a few songs from Load and Reload...maybe like 3. Maybe if they stopped being dumbasses and play like OLD Metallica they'll actually sell records and be liked again. That, and get back Jason Newstead...but that's impossible.
  22. I'm good for friday. Heh, it's a good day when I get mentioned in a post.
  23. Joe Redifer? Why Joe Redifer if I may ask?
  24. I want to collect the manga. First saw this in the monthly Shonen Jump that I collect. Very interesting. However, right now, I'm collecting Bleach, Naruto and I'm planning on collecting Scryed. (And if anyone ever pronounces it S-Cry-Ed, you're a freakin' moron. Period. Seriously, what moron says it phonetically? It's SCRYED!! Even the MANGA is spelled properly.) Sorry, didn't mean to rant in your post. Just needed to get that out. I'm caught up on Bleach, I've up to volume 18. I only have the first three volumes of Naruto, but I plan on getting three more volumes this week yet. My best friend has up to volume 12. There's also some other manga that I'd love to have caught up. Love Hina is one, I thought it was cute, figured what the hey, right? Also, since I enjoy the Yu-gi-oh! manga over much of the anime, I want to finish collecting the Duelist series, then start Millenium World. I've got the original Yu-gi-oh! manga series. I've also got a few miscellaneous manga. But anyway, enough for now. Death Note rocks, I'll collect it.
