Eh I'll get them both
-
Hey don't lump me with them, I actually like the entire series.

How would YOU like your OC ReMix included in a film?
Schwaltzvald replied to Maffew's topic in General Discussion
Probably should have posted this on the general discussion section instead of the help section. Ask a mod to either move this thread or perhaps get it deleted and redone in Gen disc -
at least you had one, albeit late. By the time mine came around, everyone had been too wasted to even bother
-
So... non-stop abominations trying to kill you every way reasonably possible ingame when such enemies/creatures are capable of doing so is too much. Okay... Then again I've always felt that the zombies in the earlier titles should have tried swarming where ever the player was. Exceptions being in the REmake/0/3/4... hmm... I guess I just like a better reasoning behind 4..? It's cool though if you don't want to. Hell I didn't care much for the halo and there are throngs of fanboys on that.

New Jersey: America's secret treasure-house of culture

Case in point http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jV2yxY23Ws&feature=related ALMOST FORGOT! AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NwJqIutRgKU&feature=related -
I can't tell if you're serious or just setting up bait. The entire series had both moments of horror and action. Hell it's always been more about action than actual terror. The "horror" comes from what the true antagonists have done to the poor bastards. Even the zombie's and animal life that became infected and tried to kill you were victims in a chain of experiments gone horribly wrong and out of control. In regards of RE4, it was more of a fluke that a group of people happen to awaken seemingling primordial parasites and become infested, thus spreading the parasite to local villages.

Wait till you see their "I Will Survive" rendition But back to Mozart: No one can touch Mozart, except for maybe Beethoven on terms of being household names Oh forgot... Something serious yet enjoyable & playful
-
Happy bday Mozart, know that you'll always have relevancy some how some way for all eternity.

I kinda saw the first game with expansion as a... heavily altered action oriented variation of Silent Hill. Hell Alma's practically Alessa Gillespie; just her outcome in life is perverted to a similar, if not, greater degree than in the Silent Hill mythos. the FEAR series, at most is a unique experience, be it for lulz or thrills.

If it works well on the consoles I may actually get it for the PS3 instead of the PC version.

It Finally Happened: Keanu to Play Spike in Cowboy Bebop
Schwaltzvald replied to The Damned's topic in General Discussion
In the long scheme of things, do we reeaaally want something such as anime to become fully mainstream...? Somewhat off-topic, but I actually do hope it bombs. Lest hollywood actually succeeds in live action adaptations. then cause a good portion of the area/industry to eventually become lazy and emulate the shit that is hollywood now... Especially there has not been one movie that made me really want to the theatre; except for maybe mall cop on account it looks like a parody to the first "Die Hard" movie to me. -
Zero Punctuation (Hilarious) Game Reviews

I chuckled throughout the Tombraider Underworld review but as soon as he mentions the "evil" lady I fucking loled hard; it kept up for a good while. -
So hey, looks like you guys playing TF2 on the console are gonna get some new shit coming your way too bad you guys have to pay for what's free for PC users
-
Are you connecting to it via bluetooth..? Noticed on a random search that others are facing issues with vista & blackberries... http://forums.crackberry.com/f79/my-pearl-not-recognized-vista-53661/ http://forums.wireless.att.com/cng/board/message?board.id=samsung&thread.id=45828 http://forums.wireless.att.com/cng/board/message?board.id=rim&thread.id=42610 I can't help you much further then that though

Soon as you get on the PC version with desktop, you'll find alot more... competent players that would make such efforts worthwhile. Sure it has its share of asshole griefers, and dumbasses, but more often than not you'll find players that are willing to put their very best into having a good campaign run on expert.
-
Fixed it for ya But also I must ask, if you're willing to shell out more for a console version of a game than buy the cheaper PC version... Why can't those that suddenly want to join the elite PC players pay up the cheaper PC version...? Especially when it comes to Valve games..? Example being Deadspace, $60 for the 360/PS3 yet $49 for the PC version...? Yes a small difference of $10 not counting taxes but still...

So I got Persona 4 in the mail...
Schwaltzvald replied to Schwaltzvald's topic in General Discussion
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Oddly enough despite how bad the puns are (god I thought I was safe from them after FES, boy was I wrong), I found myself laughing at them. I KNOW THEY'RE BAD BUT I LAUGHED AT THEM, WHY?! Not to mention the 4th, 5th & 6th bosses were fun despite the fact that they can easily kill you with seemingly cheap tactics. -
I've actually never heard of it till I finally picked up my PS3 yesterday as a disc with commercial content had a vid on it came with it. Looks quite promising. Well for all that I've managed to get some time off and to try it out, I was amazed and as well content with it. I have Silent Hill: HC and Valkyrie Chronicles for now. I was very much amazed at how Valkyrie Chronicles feels a lot like a fresh take on the strategy genre. The one only thing that irks me at times about the game, is that for one reason or another, I can't help but feel as if I recognized one or two tracks in VC from Final Fantasy XII. Gonna scan through my OST collection to see if I'm right later. SH:HC for me was kinda mixed. On the one hand, it looks great, the controls still remind me of the older titles; imo not a bad thing. One the other hand, there are times I'm not terrified to fight the creatures and find myself with glee in facing them compared to my reactions the earlier titles creatures, except for those damned pulsing, skeletal smog creatures... Fuckers seem to have a perfect defense and drain me except when I have bullets... Nonetheless I am very happy with my decision.

The Prince of Persia one just made me lol. Also I'm rather surprised, its a mixed bag of sorts in that... It has some good qualities but then falls apart in certain areas... I suppose that makes it a good rental at best..? -
Finally finished "Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil" on Lunatic difficulty with no continues a couple of days ago. Defeating Death itself in Persona 3:FES Getting Ragnarok II on Final R-Type and charging that baby through all 7 loops to see it in action. (In L4D) Saving my partners at the house at the end of Death Toll right before the final wave of infected came upon us as the boat parked. Good times

I actually have the PS2 as well, even made a Persona 4 thread as well as made a couple of posts requesting some games for the PS2 on the Sell/Buy thread, though I don't think I ever gotten an answer to it. I have the original Siren game on the PS2, and loved it. Was pissed they didn't release Siren 2 to the United States. My PS2 library is rather extensive with rpgs and action games. In fact I'm one of those guys that throughout his life, owned a nice number of consoles. Not all of them nor all the novelty peripherals, but still a nice sum. Just bought myself a copy of Valkyrie Chronicles and so all that's left for me to do is wait till I can get the console. Again thanks for all the information

FPS for the PC actually... No way a controller would be able to match up to the good ole keyboard and mouse when it comes to them imo. Not to mention the only RPG that I can speak of on the PC I'd recommend having is Fallout 3. (started a Fallout 3 on the PC thread a while back) Also Bahamut just peaked my interest in Resistance, something about a nice challenge like that interests me... I'm just gonna settle with the PS3, exclusive or not, that hardly matters to me since I have a PC that is capable of playing any PC ports; in fact multiplatform is for once a good sign for some games... Like Beyond Good & Evil 2...
