I personally like the other guitar better. This new one sounds somewhat more realistic though (less mechanical). Nice choice on the source tune, keep at it!

Don't you even compare this game to Disney games. The music alone in DKC2 is enough to make it superior to most of the games that came out at the time. The 3D-looking graphics, beautiful backgrounds, and flowing action aren't things you can "throw out" in an effort to express your point either. They aren't what make the game so great, but they are an important piece. The gameplay itself is what is so great, just think of the jumping roller coaster levels, the sliding ice level, the spider web platforming, avoiding of enemies while flying as the parrot, and thrilling rising levels. This game is a classic, and though I understand if it's not your type of game (I personally don't care for FPSs), but it is definitely not overrated.

Very nice, definitely not too close to the source material. Granted, I love EarthBound and Orchestral music, but that's besides the point. Well done, are you planning on submitting this to Rock Candy as well (on Starmen.net)?

I'd really like to do Wrinkly's theme because it's really a great song, but I've never remixed before so of course I couldn't make anything of quality by the deadline. Someone please do it though so I don't regret it!

I've never played Donkey Kong Land though, but I think it is on Donkey Kong Country (GBA) too, because I remember recording it along with the other DKC level songs and listening to them back before I found this site. Anyways, this song never ceases to amaze me and set me at peace. I wish I had some sheet music for the xylophone part, because I used to play xylophone and it is really awesome.

Wow. I just got this piece and I must say, it is magnificent. Definitely the best Mario remix I have heard yet. I'm loving the style, the happiness it brings, and the nostalgia of old Mario games. I especially liked the short clip from Dr. Mario (I like your Megavitamin Jazz too) and the vibes, trumpets, steel drums, saxes... it's just awesomeness. 9.5/10 (ending could be improved, but otherwise amazing)

I've heard this song more than 300 times and it never gets old. It's just so calming, so beautiful, and still so captivating. It is definitely one of my top 3 favorite songs on the site now and I've heard at least 500 of them. Thank you, Rellik, for this wonderful song. I am so glad this was one of the first songs I downloaded from ocremix. Very highly recommended, although for me it took a couple playthroughs to look past the static into the dream that it brings. 10/10

Yeah, you seriously should have changed the title, and maybe more people would have downloaded this mix. I withheld downloading this remix the first time I saw it because it sounded lame. But after finding out it was made by the Star Salzman much later, I got the piece and it is now my favorite Wily remix. Great job with the string and techno mix, it's very awesome. Keep at it Star Salzman!
