one thing i noticed with the donkey kong/animal crossing updates were the lighting and shadows. in the previous maps and character updates the lighting effects didn't really grab my attention. maybe its just me but i'm only now noticing them. assist trophies don't produce any shadows and all the playable characters do. so if theres any confusion just look for a shadow.

Smash DS would be awesome! as for the capabilities of the nintendo DS, use 2d sprites (somewhat like Mario & Luigi: PiT) on a multileveled background. so it look a bit different but it would way sweet and it would use the solowiimote controls but would actually have 4 buttons so you could jump. and maybe kirby will use a randomly chosen final smash. one could be Mike, the other UFO, another could be Wheel... there are a LOT of possibilies. i'm hoping for a varied final smash. it'll keep you on your toes!

yeah names are cool. i like them for stats all that. but look deeper... that's a part of the select character screen. so that lets us know they are using pictures again when you select your character like melee, unlike N64 which i liked better. oh well. i like this update cause it shows how they are concentrating on the small details. which will produce a very polished game.

I love Red vs. Blue. it is so effective in it's comedy. the jokes are not all halo related so even the casual audience can enjoy them. caboose is my favorite character. so mindless. lol its a great show and i expect to support them by buying the seasons on dvd. also Microsoft has been very supportive instead of just shutting them down, like everyone thought would happen. gotta give props to the Big M!

yeah. kirby's facial expression as he is about to hit the banana peel is priceless and it tells of unprecedented character/item/stage interaction.
