it was on the smash bros website, pre normal time. Seeing this game running so smoothyl looks incredible. Really cool to watch. Everything just looks so damn cool. Edit: So does anyone think we'll get a normal update too?

December 3rd for the Americas. Hmm. That's about a 3 or 4 weeks later than I was originally expecting. Meh, I can deal. December will be here in no time. Nintendo seriously better show some more info, movies, screens, or whatever... this is E3 for crying out loud.

So apparently it pretty much functions just like the Spinner thing ... since it can stop in the air now ... and like the old bumper since you can throw it on the ground... So since the new bumper is just the old bumper plus the spinner combined, I wonder if they'll even include the spinner in the final game, instead of both the new bumper and the spinner... which would really be redundant, since the new bumper does both jobs. I mean... it would be redundant. Redundant. Redundant? New Spinner = Old Bumper + Spinner Redundant.

lol!! simcity. Zomg!! In Assist trophies?! Wow, didn't expect a game like that to show up. That wasn't a 1st or 2nd party game right? That was... Maxis right? And if that's true, does that mean we'll see other 3rd party characters as assist trophies. I thought all of those were going to be exclusively Nintendo franchise characters. Guess I was wrong. That's exciting. So that is why this update rocks, possible other 3rd party assist trophies... and well, bringing back something from my childhood. I guess perhaps its games published by Nintendo. And I know it was said earlier, but there will be serious injustice if Phoenix Wright isn't in this game somehow! Anyway, yeah, I'm digging the buildings. I used to love playing SimCity, and creating a giant city then just wasting it. hehe.

When Smash Bros. Brawl was first announced, back when they said it was going to be a launch title, they said it was going to have online. That was official straight out of Nintendo's mouth. Additionally, it was also officially stated that the online mode would be different from what we're used to because of how quick of a game Smash Bros is. All of that is official and were all quoted from developers, IE Nintendo. I don't have the articles handy, but I checked it all at the time of the news release, and it was accepted by everyone as true. You can go back and do some digging through google and get the facts, or even this thread. It's all officially true. Not like that WW link, ice climbers are gone, crappy nonsensical rumors. So yeah, online mode won't be the traditional smash bros we all know and love. Whatever that means is up to the devs. I'm willing to bet it will be some sort of minigame experience, or leader boards that report your offline progress to everyone. Something cool would be being able to create something (level, skin, what have you) and share it with other people, or just download bonus content straight from Nintendo. *Shrugs* Seriously, it'll probably be like a race to the finish where you can't attack. No lie! lol. But who knows really... Nintendo is weak when it comes to online experiences (except for the Virtual Console)... so, I'm not really holding my breath for any of the online gameplay in Smash Bros. Yes I would love to see a fully robust online mode of play, but Nintendo has never really grasped the whole online gaming thing. I mean, yeah, I've played Mario Kart DS online, but ... hell, come on, there were more features to play with people you know back in 1994 when we were playing Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 and other ancient games... hell I'd wager cash that any terrible PC game with a multiplayer aspect is probably better than anything Nintendo has come up with yet. And it saddens me to say that because I like Nintendo. I know from experience that fighting games, well, specifically Dead or Alive, was ridiculously difficult to play because of the lag, so... yeah.

e3 occurs this week. I wonder if we'll see an explosion of info in the next few days.

http://strike911.sanctuslegacy.com/noodlebot/ Okay, I've been making joke gaming themed audio recordings and decided that I really enjoy doing them, so I'm launching my own site where I'll be hosting all my stuff for people to download. Additionally, me and a troupe of friends will be regularly updating the site as time progresses. There's not much now, only 3 recordings, but I've received a couple emails regarding this stuff and just decided I should do this to save craziness and space in the WIP forums here at OCR because of my incessant topic creation. Some stuff I've posted here before like Peppy Prank Call. It's all mp3s, and it all centers around gaming. I put up a two MP3s in the "OCR - WIP Forum" but I didn't want to do that for every single mp3 I make in the future, so I'll just be sticking them on my website. Everything is there, and again, while there are only 3 files currently, it will set the tone for what I want to do. http://strike911.sanctuslegacy.com/noodlebot/ Thanks.

Snake, eh? Would not be surprised if gray fox shows... but I also wouldn't be surprised if a slightly smaller Metal Gear Rex shows up either (maybe a little larger than Giga Bowser) and blows the living hell out of everyone on screen with missiles, lasers, and ...... monkeys. I wanna see Snake's alternate costumes. Here's hoping for Liquid, Old Snake, and MGS1 snake as alternate costumes.

Captain Falcon Abortion Punch (joke mix thing)
Strike911 replied to Strike911's topic in Post Your Game ReMixes!
I'm glad this has been recieved well. Thanks guys. Well, I hate to admit this, but I've never actually visited OLR. They have this kind of stuff there? Perhaps, I should submit it. -
cool looking level, I really hope the interactivity with holes showing up is exciting and interesting. Looks good so far. Interesting level. =) The background looks great!!

hahahaha. Well, while that is pretty hilarious, I gotta admit... I think the Kirby final smash will be really interesting and fun to watch and not so bad once we get our grimey little paws ahold of Smash Bros Brawl.

Lame update... I mean, its kinda nice to see control schemes, but .... meh.
-
Hahahahahaha. Man. That'd be hilarious if Nintendo took a shot at Rare like that. haha.

No seriously, run to the theater... go now! I want to go again. It's so nostalgic and there's a WHOLE bunch of little details all over the place that refer to the transformers, and it has a lot of subliminal fanservice all over the place. Seriously, good times.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I loved Yackety Sax....

Man, if he landed on someone in that throw, they'd have to turn flat... like a cartoon pancake flat. I wonder just how crazy his damage is. I mean he is as big as most of the stages we've seen... his flames must cover half the area.... Yeah, i hope we get some custom Bowser music during this phase!! Maybe his music from Mario 64.
-
DUUUUUUUUUUDE! Giga Bowser looks hella aweseome. The look of a cartoon-esque Bowser with round snout transforms into something that has a scary semi-real reptilian look to it is crazy awesome. Look at all the details... So I guess you can control him? Is that the way it goes? Really sweet. Man... I WANNA SEE THE TRANSFORMATION!!! well... If Ganondorf is in this game, I guess we can expect him to turn into Ganon for a Final Smash, eh?

A lot of resources are going into this game because first and foremost, it sells. Like crazy. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Smash Bros Melee was one of the best selling GCN titles ever. Additionally, the fans for this title are through the roof. So many titles are represented and diehard fans want to play as there favorite character. The combination of IP's sell. This occurred with Link being in Soul Calibre 2. The GCN version sold best, and the reason was that Link was a (OMG!) playable character. Lastly, it fits in Nintendo's 'everybody can play' motto. It's simple enough for a beginner to get into, but deep enough for people to play for years to come. I mean, look... look at what the original Smash Bros turned into. The original came out in what? 98? 99? Now Melee has lasted for 6 freakin' years and still has a huge following that still play. Myself included. This game is huge. Probably one of Nintendo's most popular games they've ever created. Additionally, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Halo 3 are coming out soon and many analysts predict that if the Wii doesn't have a strong showing this holiday season that the PS3 or Xbox360 can catch up in sales per month. A lot is riding on this game to sustain the current sales that Nintendo has been getting since last November. I mean, store are STILL selling out. I walk into a Gamestop and someone asks for a Wii, and he's like, "well, you'll have to come back later when we get another shipment, we're out." I mean... this is months after launch and there still trying to get enough systems out. Crazy. but... yeah, they want to keep that growth with blockbuster titles, and, again, if nintendo doesn't keep churning out hi-quality titles for this holiday, people may want to play MGS4 or Halo3 or whatever else comes out. Nintendo knows Smash will sell even MORE systems. That's why. (waiting for update.)

Thouroughly enjoyed this film!! It had a nostalgic feeling that really was endearing. Dare I say it was 80's-tastic. I enjoyed it, love hearing the original voice actors, and at some spots the crowd was applauding, specifically the first couple times we saw some of the transformers transform. Technically speaking, movie critics will either barely like this movie or hate it, but seriously, I loved this movie. It was so much fun to watch.
