  3. Started listening to it myself today. Invaders Must Die - 6/10 - I like it, but it could get old fast. Omen - 8/10 (I prefer the music video edit, but that's just me) Thunder - 4.5/10 - Just missing something to me... Colours - 7/10 - good, but not great Take me to the Hospital - 8/10 - good stuff Warrior's Dance - 9/10 - Sofar, my favorite track. good groove. Run with the Wolves - 3/10 - Ugh. Just don't like this song. Omen Reprise - 9.5/10 - I wish this one was six times as long and further expanded on. Hot stuff. World's On Fire - 5/10 - another less than stellar track. Piranha - 6/10 - Catchy, but not their best effort. Stand Up - 4.5/10 - An experiment, but not a great one. Catchy tune, but it's not what you'd expect... Overall: 6/10. It's good, but parts are forgettable. Omen, Take me to the Hospital and Warrior's Dance are the standouts.
  4. After listening to all the tracks on this album, I can't help but feel impressed. This is top notch in my opinion. Can't wait until it's released to play it in steam.
  5. I'm going to have to give this a shot. I spent too much time playing this as a kid to pass it up! nice remixed sountrack, btw. Done right!

  7. The Dig was one of the best games I've ever played. Hell, I even had the Alan Dean Foster novelization of the game, I loved it so much. This game would be so awesome, nostalgia-wise, if they remade it. Come to think of it, this, and the Monkey Island games all need love.

Experience was bliss, Jilted Generation was great, FotL had a few good tracks (re: minefields/narayan/climbatize), Always outnumbered... just didn't have what I liked about the Prodigy. Glad they're going back to an earlier sound. The first track off this album is good too - something new for the mp3 player to have loaded

Anyone know the release date of the cd? *wiki edit* On November 4, 2008, It was announced that the band's fifth studio album would be called Invaders Must Die and will be released on the band's new label, "Take Me to the Hospital" on February 23, 2009.
  10. Ahh, this one should make everyone laugh a little. Back when I was 14 or 15, me and my group of friends were crazy over FF7. FF8 was coming out in a few days, so one of my friends and I decide to ride our bikes down to the local game shop and pick it up. My friend was so excited to have FF8 that he sped off without me, and by the time I caught back up with him at his house, he had watched the opening movie twice. He still teases me about not keeping up that day! Heh. Prior to that, I think playing the original SNES harvest moon over the summer, and having all of my friends at the time marvel at how unique and different that game was. I remember the songs so well from that - If I ever get around to working on a remix, that'll be the first game I pull a tune from.

  12. Left 4 Dead has been updated with a host of fixes, tweaks and new features, including enhancements to Versus mode for improved competitive play. The full change list is below.   14. Best gaming moment, eh? In no random order, my top 3: *) Entering Howling Fjord last night on my first foray back into WoW. So much more epic than the game has ever been. *) Playing through Halflife2 for the first time this year, and then the episodes. Seriously fantastic. *) Getting ridiculously high scores in Audiosurf while inebriated. That's good stuff, right there. Runners up: Left4Dead, Tf2, CTDS

  18. Spolier reply for 3:6 - [color=white]I had the entire stream on 3:6 go right using a gravity well, then with tricky use of the left circle, kicked it over and crossed through the blue circle, and used the other gravity well to finish it over there.[/color]
  19. It took me a bit to figure out 3:6, and once I realized what the problem was, I had everything fill in 10 seconds or less. This game is pure genius. Definitely getting it on release.

  21. smokers do quite well.... it's all in location, location, location. and timing.
  22. I've found No Mercy is so hard because you really don't have a choke point if you want to use the minigun - that's a simple thing to fix. It's easier if you hole up in the closet/stairway on co-op, and run outside to deal with the tanks when they spawn. Blood Harvest is way easy, as there's so many places to hole up in. Death toll is a breeze, with the house available. Ditto Dead Air - standing on top of the fuel tanker works wonders. IMO the finales need to be more like No Mercy, and less like the easier ones - they should have less opportunity to hole up and choke the infected (Versus Mode No Mercy comes to mind - there's nowhere to hole up - just open air).
  23. I had the most hilarious stupid moment happen last night. Joined up on an in-progress game of Dead Air (or whatever it is)... they're in chapter 4. We are doing well, progressing through the security checkpoint... and I walk through a metal detector. The horde came, and basically wiped the floor with me. I didn't even realize they added that level of realisim... the metal detectors go off...
