  1. Don't drown yourself in work. Focus on either making a complete level with boss and obstacles, or just make a tutorial part where the player can jump, shoot and whatnot. Doing a lot of work only to end up with nothing in the end is something to be avoided. I'm eagerly looking forward whatever you create though!
  2. Bigger screens and lighter DS does sound appealing, but the sacrifice of the GBA slot will be troublesome for those with GBA games without an actual GBA console (like me :E ). Does the new games only work with DSi, or is a DS Lite just as good? I'd hate to buy a new DS for the sake of playing Chrono Trigger and 358/2 Days. Edit Good gracious mother of joysticks NO
  3. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10920 Read the last 10 or more pages to see the sprites. The will to make a game is there, but not everyone has the time.
  4. 200 pix max limit fo'h life.
  5. I had three screenshots from when I was watching Peacemaker Kurogane, so I decided to sig 'em.
  6. it is also huge. In other news, I have finally decided on what bloke to draw. I shall try my best to get it ready before the deadline.
  7. That thread can might as well go into purgatory. The only thing that used to separate these two threads from another was that they were placed in two different forums. True, the Sig Shoppe leans more towards free donations, while the sigmaker thread is for specific requests, but since there are so many people confusing them both then I rather not care any longer. also Jaybell what in the name of the lord did you have in mind for that garfield comic?
  8. This actually sounds crazy enough to work. Hoo hah.
  9. You'd be surprised of how small all the images of a regular Cutting Trigger or Flame Saber are INTERNET YOU'VE FAILED ME I used the pen tool as well, but I chose to use Stroke Path with a 2 - 5 pixel circular brush, and then slap a vector mask on the layer so that I could bend and warp it to my liking if I didn't get satisfied on the first go. Half of the time went to making my original drawing into a clean, outlined figure, but man was I happy with the end result.
  10. I look away from this thread one month and this happens. Magnificent work, Binjovi. YEAAAHHH
  11. I take it that a voting thread is made right after the deadline? oh OH Things suddenly got more interesting.
  12. Sending in my contribution now. Phew. You can make the backgrounds as detailed/advanced as your own art piece. If they match in style and quality then the background can certainly improve it. Honestly, I was thinking of just sending mine in with a white background since my first attempt sucked, since that wouldn't be bad since the main focus is the image/render(artpiece anyway. But as I said, a background can enhance it, which is why I tried again and made better progress that time around. but what do I know, all I know I've learned from sigs. This is the first time I do this seriously D:
  13. After 458 hours and 15 minutes my contribution is colored and shaded. I'll add a background before sending it in though.
  14. My exam is behind me, so I can continue with touching up my sketch with vectors.
  15. I didn't read any of the posts in this thread in fear of spoilers, but I'll say this: I saw the trailer, I laughed heartedly, and I'm definitly going to see it on the big screen. Can't go wrong with Jack Black.
  16. I can play every instrument in existence. I'm just not good with any of them except the piano. I hardly consider it to be something serious, since I can't read notes and play at the same time, and all the songs I know are simply there because I've memorized them in my mind and fingers. I still know how to play all of them, and sometimes I sit down and learns a new tune from a videogame or any song that most of society can recognize, so it's a neat hobby and showoff party entertainment. But serious? Nah.
  17. Final Fantasy 12 - I can beat it whenever I want but I still have all the tough guys in the game left. Final Fantasy 1 - Sitting in my computer, waiting, waiting patiently. I've got to the Mirage Tower, and I will not admit defeat there. Pokemon Diamond - Still haven't caught them all.
  18. How can we be so certain that this is the soundscape suitable for the job? I don't what you think, but this sounds fishy to me. j/k and congratulations to both of you. Enjoy the phenomenal cosmic powers. I like it how the JUDGE attack is of Dark type.
  19. I've had this one on repeat for some time now, and it is most certainly a mellow creation. The beginning suited the title very well, since some tunes on the ol' ivory goes fairly well with a good cup of tea. I got disappointed when the parts including the majestic royal music arrived shortly afterwards, which crumbled my expectations of a complete song devoted to a good afternoon chillin' at the porch. Instead, it goes back and forth between waltz and the music score for a fancy chocolate commercial. But this is also me taking the title way too serious, despite the obvious fact that it's more of a joke since it refers to snapple's mother who supposedly have very delicious tea. Even though the arrangement doesn't stay on the same magnitude through the whole thing, it still retains its mellow atmosphere. And last time I checked, variety is a good thing. Jolly well done, my good man. o_q You're sure right about that one.
  20. Go here for inspiration. I'm already at a Rayman jizz, so I might do a Razorbeard. I'll wait and see.
