Music has the ability to motivate and set the mood. If the game developers pull that off well, then the soundtrack will without doubt be there as an important part of the gaming experience. While on the other hand, as some of you have pointed out, a terrible score will hardly make any difference, or even worse, make you annoyed.

I finished watching Spice and Wolf, except for the missing episode 7 who supposedly don't have that much of an impact on the plot anyway. I couldn't tell if the main character would plunge deeper and deeper into furdom, but I found the occasional lessons in medieval trading to be welcome. It's almost like I learned something useful.

This managed to get me laughing at two occasions: the creation of the donkey kong steel girder level and how Mario's Hadoken was his fireball. I'd agree with Dhsu that the characters could have been more sprites than cartoons, but this video surprised me in one way or the other. Reminds me very much of those odd clips I could get around seeing on TV years ago.

I approve all of the material posted so far. Good stuff, and the detail that the sprites are basically taken directly from MMX doesn't bother me too much. I enjoyed the new version of OCR-tan too, until someone mentioned her long legs and now I can't unsee it.

Managed to save this one before I nuke my account at my old home computer. My nephews really needs the space. An educating game? Why I've never.... I'm tempted to buy it, since puzzles are something I like solving. I somehow feel that it would be taking water over my head, I was having trouble with the demo one. ):[

Bumpy. I like these. No empty spaces anywhere within the sig box, and even though no fancy photo effects have been applied, they still look smooth and appealing. Nice wok.

Oh come on. It's still on my list of "soon to be watched" shows, but you must at least have heard of it.

I finished watching Get Backers last week. I can't recommend the show as a whole, but the episodes where the storyline was being held within Infinite Castle proved to be above usual quality. I've now continued with Dennõ Coil, and with Shigofumi in order to watch something with a more serious undertone. Oh, and the second season of Minami-Ke sucks. It might be true that the jokes and all might still be the same, but with the new artist holding the pen, I can't seem to enjoy it.

For some reason, this thread went by completely unnoticed. How shameful of me. "First Impressions" for stage 1 is easily my favorite among the 5 tracks, all happy pop and influences from the east. I played through the whole game, and even though I feared for my poor gamelives, there wasn't too much of a challenge or dangerous parts at all. Cept for the holes on the last stage. Curse that hole. I can understand why he didn't chose to have the sphere sound with it, the frenzy of noises that would happen while collecting them would cover up the music completely. Despite it not being in a familiar language, understanding the instructions was simple. After my second go at it, I got through it with no lifeloss and all spheres taken. 25067 points, baby. Good jorb, that goes both for you and the programmer.

posting in yet another "hey where's unmod?" thread

While looking through the DS shelves in a gamestory, I looked at the cover of Gunpey and thought "I'd sig that". And so I did. Maybe brush the grey bar on top a little, but otherwise there' not much to improve on it. It's purpose is to provide information and look slick and smooth, if you just add more then it will look forced and overdone.

So that's where that post went. Also watched Shakugan no Shana II episode 13 today. I'm glad that they've decided to finally pick up the story again, even though the relationship drama is noticeable better compared to the first season.
