OCR00775 - Final Fantasy VII "Chocarena"
Bummer replied to Saunders's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
There aren´t many instrumentschanges compared to the original, but DUUUUDE, this still rocks. First time I heard, I just downloaded it right away. Those who reads this knows or will probably know why. Thanks again Draggor. -
OCR01363 - Final Fantasy VII "Beyond Midgar"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This has a kind of careful piano, not rushing through everything, instead taking it easy and lets every note talk for itself. When it finally gets some more speed at 2:40, it gets real beautiful and professional when the notes just fly past you and absorbs into your ears. Then it gets calm again, and then a touching finish to make it all a remix definitly worth a download. Then we all listened happily ever after. The End -
OCR00811 - Final Fantasy VII "A World of Piano"

An excellent pianoremix from the kLuTz. I wish that I could say more, but I have no words left. Well done, kLuTz. -
OCR01306 - Final Fantasy VII "Ascension to Cosmo Canyon"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This one of the best remixes I know. The piano in the beginning was astounding, and then surprisingly it changes to a beautiful indianorchestral version with drums an some kind of indian-panflute. And when you think that it´s over, it´s comes back with even more power with a male choir in the back saying hummm, hummm, hummm, or something like it. Thank you Reuben Kee, I beg you to do an another FFremix, please. -
OCR01295 - Final Fantasy VII "Aeris Lives"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is one of my favorite melodies of all games I´ve played, and KL does a good job turning it into a pianoremix, which is one of my favorite instruments, so this can´t really be any better. It also became a good result combining the FFprelude with aeris theme, and the parts around 4:00 and forward really shows how you can turn it up faster. Thanks for reviving Aeris for us, Laudude. -
OCR01310 - Final Fantasy VI "The Sveldt"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This isn´t a normal remix. It´s not beautiful, not really a jamming one, clearly not serious. Instead, it´s funny. My sister and I began to laugh at the beginning, the melody is just jumping around with a wide selection of instruments. But at some points it gets more beautiful and serious, like at 0:55, when it goes over to a more blues type mood with a saxophone-sounding melody. I can clearly say that this song is stuffed with everything, thanks to djpretzel. -

OCR00401 - Final Fantasy VI "Terra Tripmachine"
Bummer replied to Saunders's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I don´t know how many terra remixes there are here, but this one got something a little more. I like the beginning when it starts out carefully, it builds up by new added instruments and in comes...an organ, thingie? I don´t really know, but it sounds very good among the other instruments and the cool beats. The whole mix is just jumping between the notes, not flowing like many others, therefore the name of the song I guess. Great stuff, JV -
OCR01331 - Final Fantasy VI "Shadows Among the Ruins"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is really special. A very nice techno version of "the day after", the best parts are at 1:25 and 2:37 when the mix goes over to a more careful mood with the main melody. Like a shadow. Nice remix zircon. -
OCR01356 - Final Fantasy VI "Seized with Fury"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is definitly my favorite rockremix on this site. It got calm beginning, followed by a jamming guitarsolo and then follows by a more calm moment. Then the cycle repeats a two times more, but it´s still totally awesome. Chosing the boss music for a rockremix was a great idea, and how the guitar builds up before they unleashes in a trembling guitarsolo, now that´s pure Rock and Roll. And let´s not forget the monster that was happy to participate with his(or hers) roar in the beginning. Thank you all, but mostly the remixer. You really are housethegrate. -
OCR00748 - Final Fantasy VI "Ruined Skies"
Bummer replied to Ginnsu's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I like the attitude in this mix. It´s like watching a conversation with the characters. First it´s just some talk over the situation or something like it, but when it all continues, it gets more seriouse, like they have decided to stop the madman and bring peace and love and creditscrolls to everybody. That´s what I think anyway. Nice work orky! -
OCR01309 - Final Fantasy VI "Return of the Phoenix"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
You made a great job changing the original song to something new in this remix, because I can hardly recognize it. However, the remix itself was great, the piece that started around 2:30 was very orchestral with the bells, the drums and that lady voice singing in the background. Beautiful GL. -
OCR00990 - Final Fantasy VI "Rachel's Gift"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
In the game, this was one of my favorites. Not only that it sounded good, but it sounded so sad that I just wanted to sit there and listen to it after loop and loop. Anyhow, great that you kept the same emotional feeling in the song, and then had some of "Celes" theme as well. This is so good that I want to cry. -
OCR00772 - Final Fantasy VI "Phantom Midnight"

A nice classical piano remix, sounds sad, but not spooky. Anyway, I liked it, so I downloaded it. -
OCR00582 - Final Fantasy VI "Morning After (Hangover)"

Why does they want to party when their world just have been ruined? I don´t really care actually, because they have nice music to party to, thanks to pretzeldude. -
OCR01358 - Final Fantasy VI "Little Painter Girl"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Starts off with some piano, then after awhile, in jumps strings, flutes and marchdrums. A very nice overall, the high notes on the piano gives that cute "Relm" appearance, the music just marching through my head. In other words: I LOVE IT! -
OCR00205 - Final Fantasy VI "Death on the Snowfield"
Bummer replied to m68030's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This reminds me of "Clubbed to Death" from Matrix, some calm piano that touches you, then...FOOM! In comes the seriously part with boompobidombombompodidom that makes you jump. Good choice to pick the guitar for the Terra melody, that was really swell. Well meet again, mr AmIEvil. -
OCR01360 - Final Fantasy VI "Deadly Promises"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is real heavy dude. The drums, cymbals, and, of course, the electric guitar, it´s just...wow. I mean........nah I´m speechless. This really just kicks ass. Truly worth a download. Darangen, you rock. -
OCR00286 - Final Fantasy VI "The Arab Painting"
Bummer replied to m68030's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Very cool idea to give relms theme an arabish touch, I think it´s the only one that is. I like it, I adore piano remixes, so this one was an another sample to my pianocollection. I like your job, Chefdude! -
OCR01357 - Final Fantasy X-2 "Under a New Moon"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is beautiful. No, no, I really mean it, this IS beautiful. The piano, the atmosphere, the beats that echoes away. Those who reads this should download it. NO, I´m not joking. -
OCR01404 - Secret of Mana "Dragon Song"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
This is good, this is real good. I impressed that you turned a song that in the game is supposed to freak you out into a song that´s nice to dig into, nice dude. You do have a good singing voice, and it´s cool that the lyrics are something that the hero would say. Personally, I think this songs name should be "fly me away", because you hear it so often in the song. This is definitly a sure download, I´ll hope I hear more from you. Keep it up, Harmony! -
OCR01308 - Final Fantasy VI "A Nightmare Before Kefka"
Bummer replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I like the careful bells in the beginning, and then the rest of the mix comes sneaking along with flutes and other nice instruments which leads to a very great remix and a content downloader. -
OCR00599 - Final Fantasy IV "Tale in Piano"
Bummer replied to orkybash's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Well, well, well, if it isn´t the little kLuTz. Seriously, a truly beautiful piano mix with a soft piano arrangement of the beloved final fantasy theme. The notes just glide over the pianokeys and ends up in your headphone and gives you a solid piano experience. I´m not really sure what I just wrote, but I can sum it up by this: Excellent work with the piano, kLuTz. -
OCR00559 - Final Fantasy IV "Rydia (Clean Mix)"
