  1. He will do any money you throw him at.
  2. I've gotta wonder just how legit that is... But if it IS, then holy shit balls!
  3. Until we get to see this thing in the wild along with Nintendo's plans for online service, I don't think we have much else to talk about other than the following: They have mentioned the processor, which is the pica200 from Digital Media Productions, and here is a link to 1up.com with a tech video and some detailed specs. An interesting rumor that's been going around is that apparently the game carts are going to have a 2 gig minimum size(UMD is currently 1.5 gigs, and I don't know of any PSP game that uses all of it, save maybe Crisis Core or MGS: Peacewalker), and even more interesting is that apparently games can be installed/stored on the 3DS. If this was mentioned before, go ahead and disregard. Also, I really doubt that they're aiming to use the camera for any actual photography as much as they'll probably try to incorporate it into game mechanics somehow.
  4. atmuh i dont even
  5. nobody cares about what you just said
  6. It's a fucking hand held video game system, ladies. Any person that wants a high-end camera goes out and buys a device built specifically for that use. What? Are you people planning on professionally filming a wedding with an iPhone?
  7. I want to like this game, but everything about it gives me this vibe that it's pretty much just a simplistic rail shooter. Can anyone tell me why this game(and the first) are awesome?
  8. But it isn't like they told the fans "this is gonna be just like all the awesome oldschool games! You'll see!", and then proceeded to sodomize said fans' imaginations. You're right that they weren't stellar games, but the key is that Nintendo was trying to take divergent paths with the series, and nobody bought the idea. Sega was constantly trying to strike gold over and over again and failed. To put it another way, this is the first time we've seen a "traditional" Donkey Kong game in awhile. If it sucks, then we'll start lumping it together with Sonic, but it deserves the benefit of the doubt for its first outing.
  9. Dude, you can't get goofier than pirate crocodiles and googly eyes.
  10. 2 points: A) Gamefaqs? I don't even The reason is because Nintendo hasn't developed a bad habit of periodically shitting all over their best franchises. They're in stark contrast compared to Sega, in the fact that every so often they might make a bad game, whereas in Sega's case, every now and then they might make an ok Sonic game. That being said, I'm excited about Sonic 4 and apparently people are liking Sonic Colors a lot, but this is a DKCR thread.
  11. Wow, guys. I'm floored. Out of the something like a dozen albums that have been released here thus far, I think this is definitely 1 of the (now)3 I actually like. Great job.
  12. Well Nintendo's E3 media briefing left me on an oldschool kick, so after tackling Kid Icarus(fun times), I'm now going through Donkey Kong Country 2(my personal favorite out of the three). I've gotta say that this game is much more fun than I remember and holy shit I had no idea the music was this excellent either. If Retro can manage to bring modern gameplay innovation to the formula a la New Super Mario Bros. Wii or something while maintaining just half of what makes DKC2 so great, I'm on board.
  13. Nintendo seems serious about trying to incorporate 3D in a manner that furthers the experience rather than just tack it on as a bullet point that adds next to nothing(except seizures) to games like the 3D that Sony and a bunch of movie production studios are going for. While I don't know what 3D will do for remakes like Star Fox 64 and Ocarina of Time, for games developed with the system in mind I'm sure it'll be relevant. Also I just finished going through Kid Icarus on the NES, and now I'm pretty excited for Uprising. Hell yeah. As soon as I can grab a 3DS, I'm all over it.
  14. The reason they changed the original design was because it was ass ugly, heavy, and thus had no chance of selling well. The DS Lite fixed those problems, and thus you have the handheld juggernaut you see today. While the necesity of the DSi models are debatable, the Lite was a stroke of genius. Also, a remake of a 15+ year old NES game being terrible/boring? Unfathomable!
  15. eorzeapedia.com has a link for the Final Fantasy XIV benchmark program download! Time to see whether or not your computers can handle this beast. Mine probably can't, but who knows!?
  16. This system might be the holy grail gamers have been crying for from Nintendo for years. Kotaku has an even larger list than the one Nario showed, and hot damn that's a lot o' game.
  17. Are the people at destructoid retarded rhesus monkeys?
  18. Can't access that streaming page Reggie mentioned.
  19. ...Pack it up, people. Nintendo just won E3. Who elses' mind was just blown by the 3DS and FUCKING KID ICARUS!?
  20. Looking back at the Microsoft briefing and the now over Ubisoft conference, I think I'm going to take back that grade and give them a C+ as well. I'm officially interested in Kinect after seeing stuff like Child of Eden. Lots of cool stuff out so far. Can't wait to see what Nintendo and Sony have in store for their briefings.
  21. Microsoft literally had no ace in the hole, and everything was just lackluster. They might as well have just shown sales figures. I give it a D.
  22. My god that press conference was total shit.
  23. Well I thought I'd dig up this thread again seeing that we're going to be seeing a bunch of info at E3 plus all the info that has been released via sites like eorzeapedia.com.
  24. But I don't want to buy Lego Rockband...
  25. I find your lack of Europe disturbing. I swear to your pagan gods if The Final Countdown isn't on the Rockband Network at some point in time, heads will roll. HEADS!!!
