  1. Blah... I listened to this on my IPod whilst playing Chemical Plant Zone, so that my parents wouldn't yell at me to turn the sound down. I have to say, while I like the original, I think the volumes and emphasis are just a tad off in this incarnation. I can't put my finger on it, but there is one instrument that just doesn't belong in this mix. I like the bouncy feel of the original a bit more.
  2. I don't have any criticisms that everyone else haven't made already. Damn fine work sir.
  3. I haven't found a way to do it. But I suppose if someone had two accounts they could.
  4. I'd be more than willing to work on arrangements (I can't seem to get the hang of anything outside of MIDI programming) if one of you would give it a nice production job .
  5. Love the arrangement, but I, like Upthorn, feel that the Genesis doesn't really sound like a Genesis. Kudos on the arrangement though. Sweet stuff.
  6. Considering how close Link's Awakening is to my heart, I'd prefer quality to quantity.
  7. My Grandmother (who is a classical music freak) walked in and asked me who composed this. That is a very high compliment to the both of you. She thinks that anything 'less than' Brahms isn't worth listening too.
  8. Well put DragonFire. Something about the guitars just makes me feel out of touch with the moment.
  9. Well, halfway through the thread it said you had updated. And on my player the 'new' (possibly not) version read a whole 13 seconds longer. Perhaps my standards have lowered . That transition seems much smoother now. Mayhaps something on my end improved.
  10. Much improved since the last time I checked. Still a tad heavy on echoes in the Pyramid section, but not to a point at which I would stop listening.
  11. You too Myst? I used to do precisely the same thing. Anyways, this is not Disco Dan's best work, but still a good job. Be warned, trance-haters, this mix ends with a repetitive deconstruction, which is the only thing that really takes away from this track. The synths could be better chosen and the ending a little more varied, but its worth a listen.
  12. Turtle Rock seems pretty spacy and needlessly echoey. Some echo = good. This much echo = slightly obnoxious.
  13. Let me put it here that Mazedude is awesome. Any decent remix from an adventure game is welcome in my playlist. Any awesome one gets thrust upon my friends. Needless to say, I'm going to busy bugging my friends to listen to this one. Keep on remixing Mazemaster .
  14. You want old Gameboy stuff to remix? I'd pay good money (15$) for a cd that included a 'We're Back' remix/rearrangement or two.
  15. It feels almost muted to the point of muffled. I take it that will be fixed in due time. It obviously needs some tempo change to keep things interesting. The layering makes it feel very muddled. For rough work it's not bad, but it's not going to make anyone's eyes bug out at the potential.
  16. Second half begins a tad messy sounding. Might want to polish that part. First half reminds me of my Crown's Classics version of Snow White. Don't ask me why.
