Oh, I was just being McHammy. I didn't really want to win, oddly. Maybe because there hasn't been a lot of participation.

I think those Hits are FL Studio samples lol. The 'hammered' piano sounds like a Spectrasonics Atmosphere sample (which predates Omnisphere). Hmm...no idea on the brass either. It beats my brass soundfonts.

It is up to the remixer to create their own personalization, or to simply give it a sound upgrade. Moreover, the compo is a great opportunity to hone your remixing skills and give video game music the respect that is due. SOME reinterpretation is recommended, but not required. MnP Instructions/Guidelines Covers and Sound Upgrades are permitted. Genre Swaps are fine. So long as they follow guidelines of rule #3. Most or all of the source notes must be present (but not necessarily in the exact same order), secondly the mood (energy, pacing, feelings being conveyed etc) should also be retained. For example, a source tune that is fast-paced and energetic that's remixed into a mellow/chill-out theme would be a hard sell. Submissions must be at a maximum of 20mb (keeping in step with ThaSauce's file size max). Only 1 entry per participant. Previous winner cannot participate but can submit a BONUS entry. Please don't make any comments about people's entries - including your own - until the Voting process is concluded. BONUS entries are exempt of this rule. adfhghghdgsjgjg. Ignore if you saw earlier, was being especially derp. Was this done live or with some high quality vsts? I'm actually having a hard time sussing it out. The brass, percussives and winds are especially expressive.

I like this, but that might not reflect the opinion of OCR officially...it sucks that every time I give feedback I have to give this caveat, but hey, I don't see any of them foraying down here in to the trenches to give feedback, so what's a n00b to do? The moogy bass and those strings, the percussion and drums are a tad on the low-fi side, but I dig em. If you're looking to submit, you'll have to find a way to either hybridize a modern sound, boost that E/Q on all the instruments, or do a full sound upgrade. That is my sense of things from listening to a lot of posted tracks anyways. Also, I don't know if there is enough reinterpretation going on. Still, this was a fun listen.

Yeah, make sure that anything that isn't a bass has <125HZ reduced and maybe check out the 250 and 400 bands. The dissonant vibes are an interesting new development and add a level of unease. Loving that Sonar-like blip sound. Reminds me of some ps1/n64 under water levels lmao. Nice work with the portamento on that bassline. It's touches like that that make the bass feel more organic obvious observations 101. Love the way the strings fade in and out. (edits) I'm feeling that the percussion is a bit of a low-fi quality. I'm guessing that the Low-Fi hybrid with modern-ish sound is what you're going for? Not a bad angle imo. I can't speak for the Panel, but I just wanna say I like this remix a lot lol.

Glaringly obvious changes I could do. Vary up the second half. Make an actual ending or just fade out. Any other feedbacks?? I'm wondering if Guile's Theme would make a good mash-up...

Sure you aren't being a bit hard on yourself? I think your sound is pretty decent. I especially like your SH3 and Metal Gear Solid remixes. Reminds me I need to go through more of your soundcloud, some really good stuff. I guess Hardcore isn't quite your thing, as I see a lot of chillstep and organic stuff, but I think you can pull it off. New sexperiences! BTW, you have played with vocal samples a lot so (pardon edits)
