If you have to choose one, I say go for the Dragon Quest one - I know Katie needs more people and isn't currently around to pimp it out.

This is a pretty nifty song - love the latin flair. This song fits for some reason for the new year, which has this dancing feel to it - for some reason I get that vibe with blad's tracks in general. Definitely is a creative take on the source material, pretty much love it!

So for those at MAGFest - I meant to originally do a grab bag, but unfortunately I forgot to bring the bag o goods there. So instead I will pick the stuff randomly and mail it out! I'm mainly interested in those who love the X series music as much as I do on board - I take it most who are on do love the music that much, so I don't really see it as an issue. I did ask a lot of people a few months back, and of course got rockers interested (definitely tapped into shizzies, and probably will be asking more).

I've listened to this on loop for quite a while, but I'm not sure what to think of this track. It seems that production could use some work, and some of the sample choices could be improved. There's a solid foundation here though in terms of how the song is constructed. I don't think I really have anything bad to say about it, everything seems to flow pretty smoothly here.

Which one do you mean? X Hunter Stage 1? I have no problems with multiples btw, as the Blizzard Buffalo track is an indication. Can you link me to some of your work again? Actually, I was going to ask you ha!

You know, somehow I missed this from the original project - I want to relisten to it again to catch a few other tracks that I seem to remember liking somewhat. Brad has a surprisingly good voice, and melds it well with his sax playing. One thing that bothers me somewhat is the background synth that plays for most of it - I think the track would have a more sexy groove to it without it although I guess that would be a different interpretation. Otherwise, this is pretty nice.

This song has some interesting ideas, but I feel like some more work could go into this, particularly in having some more low end in the song (with a rhythm guitar or putting the drums more forward maybe?), and perhaps using the second part of the boss theme from the game to make the song more full. It feels somehow incomplete when it ends after just going into the beginnings of the boss theme. I do like the rest of the song though, as here we have the drums dictating the pace, and there are other nice touches in the song such as with the surf sound with the guitar in the beginning.

Bumping this up for great justice! Don't be surprised to see more activity with this in the next few days!

Wasn't me...I was away at MAGFest - I dunno if I'll be on anymore myself, I need some time off most online games I think so I can reappropriate myself in the right perspective and not get angry. This applies to something larger than games for myself, as I've been changed some after a failed relationship last year, so I want to fix that aspect of myself first. Thankfully I think MAGFest provided myself with what I think should be that perspective, so I'm going to work on that first.

I was hoping to get a 4 player game with you, Taucer, Mazedude, and I...maybe next year! Also, I'm still hyper after a 13 hour car drive - those on my projects beware!

Finally got back home! Got Halt sleeping downstairs right now. So other than the 13 hour or so drive...damn I miss MAGFest - I don't quite feel like it's over yet, but that'll change by next week after Monobrow, Prot, Nekofrog, and Ashamee visit when PMD sinks in completely . I forgot to add - fuck yeah, beat Taucer in our annual Tetris Attack challenge for the first time this year, so now I'm 1-2 against him. Crazy matches, since I dropped 2 games before rebounding in an almost complete sweep! Too bad none of you guys got video of it . Pictures will be going up tomorrow!

I just did whatever - people are all over the place, so the best way to ensure you're doing stuff is to get people's numbers and to try to call them. Even so, I spent some time hanging out with other people like SnappleMan or Larry, like when Larry and I were camping out the free food in the MAGFest staff room. Also guys, that phoreslo post was a spambot post that just requoted pezman.

I meant during the ArmCannon set - people were moshing through a piano part for example.

I'm two hours south of chicago or so at Champaign, IL if you feel like stopping by there - it's a bit out of the way of your posted route though. Still at the hotel right now - awesome moment recaps! 1) Hanging out with everyone here! 2) Smash Brothers 3) DoD 4) Chanting "Holy shit" with everyone when it was announced that OA & Stevo won DoD by one point over virt and the likes of SnappleMan, Prince of Darkness, norg, danimal cannon, etc...and with OA & Stevo not in sight! 5) Pictures! 6) I'll probably figure something out for here by the time I get back home on Wednesday night Not so awesome 1) I only had 13-14 drinks TOTAL during MAGFest (including the wine) - never was drunk you bums, despite pounding the beers. 2) The concerts - I dunno, maybe I've just gotten tired from everything else, but I wasn't particularly interested in some of them that I went to, and seeing people mosh at close to the dumbest times I've ever seen during Armcannon put me off (and I so was pumped up to start pits too).
